I order from this place from time to time because it is so good and the food usually comes quickly. My favorite rolls have been the sweetheart roll and rock and roll with extra yum yum and eel sauce on the side. I've only ordered in person once but the staff was nice and helpful. I don't think you can eat in the restaurant, so it's great to get some take out via a delivery app or pickup. Overall, I enjoy this place and I would go back and try more things! read more

I need to be honest, I love most sushi places. So let me tell you what stands out for me about Mizu Sushi. You can order directly from their website for local delivery. And somehow the same guy delivers every time and very quickly. It is top notch and so convenient. I always get the mermaid roll. It and some others have a marble seaweed wrap that is very unique and not has heavy as a rice wrap. I find it a upgrade and great alternative to a seaweed wrap. Everything I have ordered has been great and fresh. In my last order, I noticed the cucumber was cut into thin matchstick shaped, which is a nicer bite than a thick chunk of cucumber. I don't think you can eat in, but I may be wrong. The convenient delivery is hard to resist. read more

3 for $15 lunch combo might be the best I've had so far in Baltimore. I was craving sushi and I decided to give mizu a try. I typically go to Minato or kabuto but I say that this was closest to my house so I gave It a shot and I was curious about a few maki rolls they had. I ordered: eel avocado tuna and salmon and spicy crawfish avocado. Each roll had six pieces so in total 18 and It was filling . The spicy crawfish avocado was pretty good and had a nice wasabi spice that I enjoyed. The avocado wasn't too big so you could taste the crawfish. The tuna and salmon was meaty and very fresh. I didn't feel like I was chewing too much and It was decent cuts of meat. This was the most filling out the three. The eel avocado I truly enjoyed. Everything blended well my only caveat was the eel does have a lot of bones so just be careful. But they did add large pieces of eel in each roll. Overall I'll come back and order again read more

The price is 1000% worth the quantity and quality of the food, especially for a lunch special. I ordered the 3-roll lunch special for delivery and the restaurant was super quick to fulfill the order, and each roll was fantastic. I also got the seaweed salad on the side, and it was larger than I imagined. Serving up an extensive repertoire of veggie sushi for this vegetarian, I felt spoiled by the list of options to choose from for takeout dinner. The staff was friendly and welcoming when I arrived at this tucked away corner neighborhood gem. I ordered the vegetable gyozas and three types of sushi--Shitake, Vegetable and Sweet Potato. Let's talk gyoza. These melt in your mouth morsels with spinach based dough are filled to perfection with a savory mix of vegetables that pair nicely with the slightly sweet, subtly spicy sauce. A solid find. The food is decently priced. The Chicken Katsu was a good sized meal, the chicken was nice and crispy. For sushi we did a California Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Spicy Yellowtail Crunch Roll. The best one was the shrimp tempura roll, it was very crispy with a delicious sauce. Was craving rolls one day and didn't feel like driving so after a quick GrubHub search, Mizu came up. Like a lot of Yelpers, I headed over to see the reviews and since they were good, I gave it a go. I ordered the Yaki Tori (broiled chicken, onion & pepper on skewers), a Fantastic Roll (smoked salmon, eel, avocado on top, shrimp tempura inside & spicy sauce) and a Maryland Roll (shrimp tempura, avocado topped with Maryland jumbo lump blue crab, old bay season and eel sauce). I always regret getting skewers because the meat can sometimes be tough. This was definitely the case here but it wasn't a big deal since the rolls were what was most important. Of the two, I preferred the Fantastic Roll and actually finished all but one piece. The Maryland one was good but this time the Old Bay was a bit too much for me. Besides that, everything tasted fresh and the serving was plentiful. This was my first meal after being sick so I think I overdid it with the amount because I had plenty left over but this shouldn't be too much if you have a hefty appetite beforehand. As per usual, I spent almost an hour on Grubhub tryna decide what to have for dinner. From pupusas to calzones to finally some sushi. Ordering seafood is a risky choice for me, mostly a miss every time. However, tonight Mizu Sushi came through! California roll combo was not only worth the portion for price but it was really tasty! I ate almost all of it myself. For my side choice, I had Miso soup, serving as a pállate cleanser. I was not a fan of it, have had better but it was okay. It came with its ginger & wasabi paste(don't like wasabi so no comments on that), and 2 soy sauces. Luckily I have YumYum sauce, but I should have gotten a Spicy sauce at least instead of 2 soy sauces. & I ended up adding the Shrimp & Mango roll, unsure if I would like it but it was really delicious! The sweetness of the mango and the texture of the shrimp really did it for me. The shrimp was not bland at all, it was boiled or steam with something on the water because it had flavor. **DEBIT CARD SCAM ALERT** I've ordered from here through doordash without any issue, but recently I ordered online for pickup/pay in store and got scammed : ( They said my debit card declined, which was weird because I got paid that day so I checked my banking app and saw I had money in my checking account (ALSO: no unrecognized purchases at this point). I didn't think anything of it and I paid with my credit card. As soon as a left, I got a call from a number claiming to be my bank that left a voicemail saying "This is the [my bank] fraud prevention department calling for [full name on the debit card]. We need to verify some recent activity on your account ending in [end of my debit card number, NOT account number]" and telling me to call that number back. I checked my checking account and there were 2 new purchases I did not recognize. I immediately canceled both my debit and credit card but yeah that sucked. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know if mizu knew about/were in on this but it's hard to imagine that they didn't know. read more

Have heard a lot about this place from friends who live around Patterson Park. Grabbed a bunch of rolls to split between friends--lots of options!!! Everything was super fresh and tasty. The only roll that I didn't love was the Mongolian with the mango and eel (I had tried a similar roll at Sizka which tasted better somehow), but everything else was super yum. I ordered pickup and showed up a few minutes before it was ready to make sure I got it while some of the tempura rolls were still hot out of fryer. Even though I showed up early, it was really sad to see a soggy tempura roll without much crisp and honestly average flavor. The staff is really nice but that was disappointing. My other 2 non-tempura rolls were great but was leaving a lot to be desired. If you live in Fells area and want quick, affordable sushi then give this place a try! This place is one of our favorites. The sushi is always on point. It's a small place with enough room for about 20ish people. But we have never had a wait. We get the BMW roll and it's our absolute favorite. The Black T roll is also delicious. The service is always friendly and quick. We come here once every two weeks. Mizu sushi was exactly what my fiancé and I were craving for a quick, fresh, light Sunday lunch. The price point is excellent and affordable and the rolls were fresh and enjoyable. They gave us a liberal amount of ginger and wasabi which I always appreciate. The shumai was the only real negative, it was a bit mushy. We also were only given one set of chopsticks but that's no big deal, we'll be sure to ask for two next time! They are carry-out and delivery only right now due to Covid and I sincerely appreciate the safety measures they have in place. Given the relative scarcity of good sushi in Baltimore (plus the fact that they have free delivery), Mizu Sushi has become one of my go-to's to satisfy any sushi cravings. I've tried a few of their menu items - rolls, shrimp yaki udon, sashimi platter, etc. While their prices are definitely not cheap for a rather casual sushi establishment, I think it is worth the money because their fish seems more fresh and the fish:rice ratio is very reasonable. I have never actually dined in before, but their delivery is always efficient and food arrives fresh. At least service was very quick because we were the only ones there! It seems like they get a lot of carryout business. There were a few people that came in and out to grab to-go orders and I saw the delivery guy with some orders as well. It is BYOB which I love. We started with miso soup and ordered about 6 regular rolls, nothing fancy. The rolls were very small and expensive for how much you got. Sushi Date! I came here on a Friday for a lunch date with my sister. The place is semi small but can easily accommodate a huge lunch party if needed. We came around noon and it was empty, I assume people start to come after 1 pm. They offer lunch specials from 11-3 and that's what we decided to order. The lunch special includes soup or salad and two rolls for $11. I ordered the salad with two rolls (Philly roll and the shrimp roll with spicy mayo on the side). My sister ordered the soup with two rolls (spicy shrimp roll and a Philly roll). The rolls were pretty good however, I felt it was a little too warm for my liking. I like my sushi to be cold (don't' judge me) anywho it was still good. The salad was good and fresh, I love the salad dressing sauce they use. The soup was really good, it's so simple but delicious. My husband and I normally share the sushi and sashimi combo for two which comes with a mix of nigiri and sashimi, a California roll, a special roll (chef's choice), and two miso soups or salad. The fish is fresh and the combo is very filling. The miso soup is basic with bits of tofu and seaweed in it. She keep an eye on our drinks and filled them unobtrusively and immediately and we never needed to ask her for a refill. I find that soo great! We ordered the sushi for 2 and it was really fresh and delicious! I've been really turned off to white tuna lately and was tentative to try theirs but was very pleasantly surprised. It is a very bare-bones type place inside so I wouldn't go there for a romantic date night but it is clean and pleasant. The real draw for us is the lunch special menu which is available every day, even on the weekend. Tons of rolls to choose from and it's $9.99 for two rolls or $12.99 for three, plus soup or salad.
