Happily surprised by this spot just beyond my usual parts of the city. I've gone out of my way for pickup, take out, and to dine in at Sushi Hana. The price value, while not cheap, is the most effective I've found in the city cause you get solid portions of fresh, quality fish that is handled with delicate care. They have a few creative, non traditional rolls that my partner enjoys. I usually only get sashimi or the chirashi. When we dine in, I'll check if they have any specials like ankimo Inside it feels like most staged sushi houses. There's a particular type of decor and glassy feel to the interior. Everything is always clean and comfortable. My only complaint is I wish the house salad dressing had a stronger base of soy/ginger and a little less orange/sesame oil. Staff are sweet and quick.

The interior of Sushi Hana is amazing. Creative and warm. Service was stellar. I'm not a sushi fan so I chose the ramen with beef. I would describe it as bland. I have had it at other eateries and it was flavorful. My husband had the vegetable tempura and I was grateful for a piece. Overall, I would think there would be a better option in Baltimore.

We had Shabu Shabu and Chicken Katsu. Both were good but we need to go back for actual sushi. When we got there at 630 we were rhe only guests. When we left the place was packed - 15 tables. Only 1 waitress but she was fine. They had 3 sushi chefs behind the counter and seem to do a large takeout business. We will definitely go back. A big plus is there large parking lot. Our other favorites lack parking. We also got a free order of edamame for checking in on yelp and enjoyed a bottle of saki

Started off kinda rough, but once we got into the swing.. everything was great.. The food was amazing..fresh and delightful.. I ordered several cooked and raw dishes... I highly recommend the "Big Boss".. Although the space is small..it never got too loud and the atmosphere was warm & welcoming.. Our server was so cute.. seevice started slow, but she was given help, and the experience was great... I will absolutely revisit

I only had the sushi at this location asks it was decent. It's truly hard to find good sushi in the Baltimore area in my opinion.

Mostly because the ramens came with pork or vegan broth and no poultry or fish broth options. Stalking their insta I saw a chicken broth tantanmen that looked delish. So here we were. We were promptly sat, service was quick and fast. My chicken tantanmen was delicious. The numbing sichuan chili oil with the crispy karaage, paired with a nutty miso broth was just perfect for an overcast day. My bf also thoroughly enjoyed his vegan mushroom ramen and appreciated the cook on the mushrooms as it wasn't just bland and spongy. Would absolutely come back if they keep offering non pork broth options. Or at least the ability to sub broths out. Interior was also decorated very cool.

That is nori on the brussels A piece of pork belly was fired for my drink. The drink menu was small but a got a chance to try them all and there is a flavor profile for you. The ramen was filling and comforting as ramen should be and be sure to ask about the secret menu. I went for Baltimore Restaurant Week and was able to try so many things. But you can go for happy hour and try all the appetizers and drinks for a discount. While we are suffering a long cold spell right now and perfect for ramen, remember ramen is perfect year round. The service was wonderful and the place filled up quickly while we were there on a Wednesday night. I will be back. Oh I hear there is a good outdoor space, but I didn't get a chance to experience that with temperature in the single digits

They do have a happy hour on Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. This includes certain rolls and appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails. I had the lychee Saketini (HH $8), and it definitely had lychee flavor. It was a little lighter on the alcohol though. I also had a 22 oz. can of Sapporo premium beer, which was also on happy hour for $7.50. Both the bagel roll and California roll were $6 on happy hour as well. I highly recommend the Volcano Roll (HH $12), which had 6 pieces of salmon and tuna top with a spicy mayo and eel sauce. We initially sat outside, but once it started raining, they helped us bring everything inside. The hostess was very kind and our server was excellent. In terms of the ambiance, there is not much indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like they mainly do take out. Also, street parking can be limited.
