My sister and I got the Mexican elote salad. all the veggies were super fresh. the homemade dressing was cilantro based and very tasty. I like how they ask you how much dressing to use (some places just drown their greens). we shared a salad and they were kind enough to give us two separate bowls, as well as an extra slice of bread. the menu has so many other good ones (including warm salads for the fall). definitely excited to come back. read more

The food is a 5 star. If you like salads and more of the healthier foods this is the place for you. Going over lunch I got the Chicken Pesto Parm. This salad was really good and had a little kick to it that I enjoyed. I would definitely get this salad again. Two things for why it's not a 5 star. I had lunch at sweetgreen last weekend. It was a sort of back up when the place I wanted to eat was closed. I wasn't expecting much, because I've been to quite a few of these fast casual salad bowl concepts before and because the menu was a bit boring to me (it took me longer than usual to figure what to order). But I surprised by sweetgreen. I ordered the Kale Caesar (roasted chicken, tomatoes, Parmesan crisps, shaved Parmesan, shaved kale, chopped romaine, lime, and Caesar dressing), and I was very into it. Yes, it's just a Caesar, but everything in it was fresh and delicious (those Parmesan crisps were the surprise that really made me love the salad). Biggest downside? The location. It's in Harbor East by the Whole Foods, and parking can be tough (and there's some construction at the corner of the block that makes getting to it harder). But if I'm back in the area, I'd happily eat at sweetgreen again. I wasn't excited about sweetgreen, but now I'm excited about going back sometime soon. read more

This is a great option to get a healthier "fast food" meal. I got my food instantly upon ordering (they make the salad in front of you) and it tasted delicious! There are so many healthy options, both salads and warm bowls, and many proteins. I had such a hard time deciding (what's new?) because everything looked so good. I ended up going with the Spicy Thai salad, adding broccoli, and it was amazing! The salad was definitely pretty spicy but it was the perfect amount so that I didn't have to keep getting up for water refills. I also liked that you could ask for light/medium/heavy salad dressing to personalize your salad more. The one thing I didn't really like was that they had this amazing looking whole wheat bread that I thought was free but ended up being a price addition. The grains bowls are great if you're looking for something a little more filling. I tried the Harvest bowl and it was delicious! It came with wild rice, kale, sweet potato, apples, chicken, almonds and goat cheese. It was well-balanced and tasted very fresh. If you want to add another ingredient to your bowl it's an extra .50 and avocado is an extra $1.50, I believe. The staff were also very friendly. My 4 star review is based on the food quality and customer service during this COVID-19 pandemic as I was not able to physically enter the establishment the 3 times that we've gone. I ordered via the app, which is our new normal lately, and that process was seamless and uncomplicated. The hardest part was choosing which one of these yummy salads you want to coat your belly with, they all are very tempting, even the Warm Bowl offerings as well. After loading up my cart app with salads for me and my Sidekick, I was heading over to check out and the app offered up adding in drinks, I wasn't interested in the drinks but was taken aback that they offered NO DESSERTS!! Well this is not a bad thing as my waistline is thankful that Sweetgreen has made this decision for me lol. Salad ingredients were SUPER fresh on the 1st & 2nd visit, on that 3rd visit they did put some Parmesan cheese on my salad that appear to have been out or exposed as it had hardened. But no worries, that tiny mishap won't deter me from going back. Salads portion sizes are pretty big, I finish a bowl in two settings as oppose to one. For the brief second that you encounter a worker to hand you your to-go order, they seemed nice and professional enough. LOVE sweetgreen. I love how their menu is seasonal and I think that truly makes a difference in the quality of their salads. Their ingredients are diverse and can be tweaked to accommodate any diet, no matter how strict. They don't offer the standard fountain drinks but rather like fruit based drinks. To be honest, I've never tried any of the drinks but they do offer free refills. I typically do the create your own salad option, which is a base with up to 4 toppings, not including a protein. That typically comes to about 8 and some change after taxes. I would say salads range from $8-12 here. The salads are large and are filling for a salad due to the toppings offered. I tend to visit at off peak times so there is never a line and the person behind the counter has always been friendly and helpful with suggestions about the items. I decided to create my own salad because the ones on the menu did not appeal to me. I ended up going with a simple green salad with avocado and shrimp. The highlight of the salad was the cashew dressing. It was recommended to me by an employee and I was given a sample to try- sold! I wish I could buy it to take home. In subsequent visits I've had the kale caesar salad and hummus tahini- both were incredible. These types of establishments tend to be overpriced (my total was $14 including drink) but it was tasty and I was left very full. I felt like I was eating the salad forever because the portions are pretty large. I'm subtracting a star because the drink options are very limited. They have a selection of unsweetened beverages that I am not a fan of. It would be nice if they sold bottled water (flat and sparkling) and some sweet options, too. Also the salad menu is very limited. Obviously you have the option to create your own (which ends up being more expensive in most cases), but I've enjoyed the salads on the menu much better (I'm not that creative) so it would be nice if there were more to choose from. read more

I always turn to sweetgreen for a healthy, but also interesting and filling salad. Their ingredients are so fresh and they always have a rotation of salads/bowls to highlight what's currently in season. I just tried the summer corn caesar for the first time and the fresh corn and roasted peppers gave a classic salad a summery twist. It almost feels redundant for me to review sweetgreen, as I've already told every single person in my life that there is no other acceptable salad chain. I usually order a build-your-own salad, but the premade salads on the menu are all original and delicious. The standards that sweetgreen has for the freshness of their ingredients is unmatched - I've never had a bad experience with any of the ingredients here. The Fleet St location is great - friendly staff, it's clean, and they don't seem to mind when I finish my salad and sit at a table to study for an hour or two. read more
