There are tons of parking spots in the plaza. Once you walk in, the shop is located on the left side of the store next to other food shops. Wifey and I got a whole order of their soy garlic chicken and they give some pretty good portions for $30! Overall, the staff here are very friendly and efficient. We placed our order and ate at home. They do have a couple tables for seating if you prefer to eat there. But, I am now regretting that I didn't give this place a try sooner. The two places (Two Dak and Furai) have notable differences: --Flavor: Furai wins here. The crispy coating was similar for both, but Furai's meat was better seasoned, as if they left the meat in seasoning a bit longer. Two Dak's meat gets a bit bland, especially for the breast area. --Price: Two Dak wins clearly here. A whole fried chicken at Furai is over $31, close to $32 with tax. Two Dak is $26.93 with tax. --Portion: Two Dak wins again, clearly. Furai has potato wedge fillers. Two Dak is just pure chicken pieces filling your box and over the lid (take a look at the picture). --Sides: Furai wins here, as they make their sides in-house. For Two Dak, they are, to me, clearly bought wholesale. This place will be my go-to from now on for Korean fried chicken. The price and portion justify the visit. Definitely a nice hole in the wall place inside Zion Market. The chicken was tender and crispy! I love these places because they don't have much in their menu and they focus on the items they have to get the best quality they can deliver to their guests. I ordered on the website and it finished right when they said they were. I came a few minutes early and the cashier (both of them) were really sweet and serviceable towards me. I guess the raw chicken was marinated properly so the chicken didn't have any bad smell. When I evaluate chicken, the most important things I consider are the crispy texture of fried chicken skin and the juicy meat inside. The chicken sold at Two Dak Two Dak met both conditions. Came here on a Sunday evening, it's located inside of Zion on the left in their "food stall" area. I was impressed but the presentation of the white onion chicken that someone had ordered so I went ahead with that. Whole chicken was $29 bucks with sliced onions, sauce, and picked radishes. I took it home and ate it as quick as possible, chicken was juicy and crispy. It was lightly seasoned but the onions and sauce made it a great bite of chicken. I think the onions should be shaved thinner the thicker onions throws off the balance. The sauce is unique and I think it's a sour cream base with a sweet and savory note. So a couple of weeks ago a friend said that Pelicana was the best Korean friend chicken. Up until now my wife and I thought two dak was the best. In My opinion when doing a taste test we thought that two dak had better tasting and juicy chicken but Pelicana had better breading and crispness. We also got the sweet potato which is coated in which seems like similar batter to the chicken? In any case, the crispy texture was great and it was delicious. It would be great if they also had the option of candied sweet potatoes (goguma mattang) in the future. The wait time was maybe about 15-20 minutes? It may take a little while but that's because they fry up the chicken and sweet potatoes on the spot so they're fresh and crispy once you receive them. Definitely worth the wait. With the half and half and sweet potatoes it was more than enough for two people. However, I want to share so they thrive as a business and others will support them. I ordered the original whole chicken. I noticed the restaurant while shopping inside Zion Market. The process from ordering at the restaurant cashier to receiving my order took 15-20 minutes. They do have online ordering options, but from what I saw, I think you end up paying a bit of a premium for that service. My order came with a side of ranch sauce, a side container of jalapeño, and a side container of cubed pickled radish. I failed to take a picture of my order because I was HUNGRY! But the fact I am writing this review says a lot about the food. Service was quick and attentive. Not much to this process as it's more transactional. My husband is a fan of glazed flavor packed chicken, but is NOT a fan of anything crazy spicy, and he was pleasantly surprised by the sweet & spicy ones we tried. We've had our share of similar versions from other fried chicken establishments, but usually the heat was out of control and the flavor aspect was missing. Here, he mentioned the balance was just right. So in summary, the chicken is solid. For that alone, I'd recommend this place. But for us, good service and genuine kindness is what would keep us coming back even if the food was somewhat lacking. Thankfully for us, two dak has both great chicken and great service. The owner Cathy, patiently answered all my questions about the different flavor options and even came by our table multiple times to check in on how our family was liking the meal.
