    Beef bone soup (sol-lung-tang)
    Sam C.

We had the sollungtang here twice. My mom liked it a lot -- she thought the broth was rich and the meat was very tender. My wife had it another time and she said the broth was a little sweet (odd, it's not supposed to be sweet at all) and didn't like it So, 3 stars on balance between the 2 different experiences

Delicious meals from Tang Baan! So far we tried 4 different ones and they all hit the spot. Unagi plate, sashimi bibimbap, bulgogi bibimbap, and galbi tang with Napa cabbage. Fast, friendly service as well. Prices are decent and portions are very filling. Service is fast and friendly.

    4. beef bone and meat soup with brisket

A convenient choice for comforting Korean soup! It's located in the H-Mart food court, with plenty of seating and very quick service. I ordered the #4, beef bone and meat soup with brisket, and it came with a generous amount of meat and tendon, as well as complimentary banchan side dishes like kimchi and radish. It was enough food that I was able to take the leftovers home and make another meal with it. Overall I would come back!

Cashier said cook got confused with another dish #29 vs #26. Regardless, the amount of spam was minuscule. It was the cashier's second day on the job so he didn't check the order before bagging. I'm waiting for my refund.

Come here for the beef bine broth soup only...everything else is a gamble. We decided to try this new place since my wife is on a bone broth kick right now, and we thought it would hit the spot since it was quite foggy and chilly this morning. The beef bone broth soup tasted phenomenal. It was warm, it was soothing, and the meat was quite tender. The portion was a bit small though, and it didn't come with any noodles or much else other than broth and bits of meat. It came with 4 bits of banchan (pickled radish squares, kimchi, fish cake, pickled onion) and rice. The banchan was good, but not excellent, but it hit the right spot for a soup lunch on a brisk day. The beef short rib BBQ was lacking, particularly for the most expensive item on the menu. It only came with two banchan (kimchi and fish cake), so the owner felt a bit bad and threw in some rice for us. The taste wasn't particularly phenomenal or that impressive, and it was actually dripping a bit from how much sauce they added to it. It was OK, just not very impressive--particularly for that $30+ price tag. The seafood pancake was sorely lacking. It was crispy in some areas, but undercooked in other areas, and extremely chewy and a bit raw-tasting in other areas. There was also much too much green onion compared to any other ingredient, so much so that the pancake tasted more like a green onion pancake than a seafood pancake. One thing that was nice is that they have a free beef bone broth deal right now for their grand opening. All in all, I sorely regret ordering anything other than their beef bone dishes. I would have rather gotten four beef bone dishes with different kinds of meats than what we ordered.

Just mind blowing food. I've had beef bone soup with mixed beef meat twice and the taste was like a rainbow. Taste, quality, price, and freshness.

    Beef bone & meat soup

Food was decent. Got the beef bone and meat soup. It was really bland. Had to ask for more hot sauce and salt. Cucumber banchan tasted old. Kimchi and the radish were good though.

I got a take out but rice has mold. The bottom part of rice color changed to yellow and smell weird.

Amazing food and service for a reasonable price. Stopped by after grocery shopping. Highly recommend the galbi tang.

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. I'm shocked they aren't more famous. Both times I've been here the owner (I think it's him) sees me and before I can even finish saying 你好 (nihao, hello) he's got a sample of dumplings in my hand. The dish I've pictured is something called Cold Lamb. A better translation would be "cold-prepared lamb" but don't let the name fool you, it will be one of the best things you've ever eaten. Huge portions of meat, slathered in chili oil, with sliced cucumbers and lots of roasted peanuts. Then there's the amazing chili oil dipping sauce and a dipping powder that Im going to be thinking about for weeks. This meal was about 30 bucks but it comes with so, so much food that you could easily split it between two people. Will definitely be coming here any time I'm at SNA!

Stopped by during the lunch hour after seeing social media posts about this hidden gem. I order the double chicken sandwich and although in the pricey side ($20) it is a must try. The chicken is crispy and flaky on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I've had plenty of chicken sandwiches in my day and this is top 3, no question. Ordering was quick and I was able to score some sample dumplings from the cashier while I waited. This is in a food court so the eating area is shared with other eateries. Get here early during lunch time if want to get a parking spot. It gets crowded.

It was ground fresh and had lots of flavor. The Barbacoa has kick. Note to wine lovers: we opted for the $25 bottle of "Summer Love" Pinot Noir wine. It's not what you'd expect from a Pinot Noir. This wine is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc. As such, it's light and funky. We enjoyed it while the table next to us sent theirs back.

So, I came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for 5 people and it was an interesting experience to say the least! I really liked the retro diner vibes and the place looked pretty sleek. However, when it came to ordering (which I was eyeing the beef ribs for 2), and the first thing our server told us was that it was sold out. For peak dinner hours, to run out already on a popular dish at 7:30 is disappointing to say the least. So, I had to audible to the tri tip roast, which was good at least, but it was not like the beef ribs that I have tried from Heritage Barbeque a while back. It was also weird that they also ran out of chicken too, which one of the couples at the that table wanted, so they had to switch to the pork belly. Luckily, the dishes we ordered were all good...but it just felt weird to me that they ran out of some food already and it wasn't even near closing. That's like me going to In N Out wanting a double double, only for them to be like "sorry, you are going to have to opt for only a hamburger" instead. I would like to give Le Hut Dinette another chance since I have tried Heritage in the past and the barbecue is bomb, but I honestly did not expect them to have inventory issues at prime dinner hours. The server apologized for the issues due to their early afternoon rush and for how busy they were, but that still didn't really make up for the unavailability of the beef ribs. Perhaps I'm salty because I legit drove an hour down from LA to the OC for a product that I didn't even get to try (with a reservation!) So the final verdict, food was good and the service was nice, but not being able to order the beef ribs and some other dishes unfortunately made what could have been a 5 star experience into something of a 3-3.5 star experience.
