For a party of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) we ordered the chicken pad Thai (no spice), chicken Thai spice fried rice (mild spice), 3 egg rolls, sticky mango rice, medium Thai tea (not pictured). All came out to be around $46. We haven't been back since over 10 years ago yet the food is consistent and still delicious. Let's talk about this great institution. A hidden gem for those in the know. Thai Spice is a go-to staple in our house. Their Monday/Thursday deals cannot be beat, and the food is always tasty and filling. These chefs crank out dish after dish of deliciously prepared Thai cuisine in such an incredibly efficient manner, that it's nothing short of astounding. The staff are always friendly and hard-working despite the demanding speed at which they serve their food. The service is exemplary of how every mom and pop business should operate. I cannot speak any more highly of the staff here. Even during the busiest of times, the patience they demonstrate would rival kindergarten teachers. While the place itself is nothing to write home about. It's quaint style and the way it almost feels like someone's home adds to its charm. There is an upstairs section that I've never seen/been in, despite probably 20+ visits here. The seating itself is limited, but works for a quick meal. I am partial to their Pad Thai, Pad Kra Prow, and Dynamite Wings. I've never been disappointed with these choices, but take their spice warnings seriously. Their medium packs a punch already. Can't believe Thai Spice still has this same location after all these years. We arrived for lunch but they didn't have any buffet-style food yet. Two-story restaurant but it was a ghost town. The staff was friendly; they are pretty patient in particular with a woman who was 'hangry.' TV was playing some cute animal channel. We ordered pad thai, Thai Spice fried rice, and steamed vegetables. Spice levels: no spice, mild, medium, spicy, and fire. The food is mediocre but was ready pretty quickly. Portions were big with good see-through containers (no longer have the styrofoam). They helpfully wrote the dish with spice level on the lids. Writing this because of good service and reliable food. I go for the Monday special very frequently over the last 5-6 years and the food is good. They have excellent customer service, catering and quick service too. Big appreciation to the manager, Leela, for helping me plan an emergency order within an hour to feed over 80 people. She made great recommendations on dishes and it was more than adequate amount of food, cooked within the hour and tasted great. Worst ever thai food we ever had. Tom Kha soup had no flavor, it was like veggies boiled in water, the veggie basil had uncooked veggies and even rice was not fully done with peculiar smell. Been coming to Thai Spice since 2010! Ordered to-go today because I was craving Pad See Ewe and needed a quick option. Loved being able to order from the Toast App and pick up my order from the fast and friendly staff! It was quite busy in the plaza so I had to circle a bit to find parking, but I liked how people were sitting on their patio, enjoying the beautiful day and their delicious meal. I ordered Pad Kee Mao to go. To my surprise, it had no basil and they put lettuce instead. The lettuce didn't match and gave it an odd flavor. For starters, the lady that was working the cashier was very friendly and welcoming, with a wonderful attitude. Thai Spice is one of our favorite places that my husband and I regularly eat at. We originally discovered it through their weekly Monday Pad Thai special, and they never disappoint. The food is always made fresh to order, they get it right every time, the portions are generous, and the pricing is incredible. Recently, my husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner for our family and friends, and our original vendors did not show up. In a panic, we called Thai Spice last minute to cater a 75-person dinner. Leela, the manager, and her staff went above and beyond to help us out. She was incredibly helpful on the phone, walking us through a variety of menu options and portion sizes that would work best for our guests. The thin noodles and flavor were just what I was looking for and expected. The beef, though there wasn't much, was pretty good. The noodles weren't long strands, they seemed to be cut shorter. I didn't mind this as it made it much easier to eat, and I was definitely not in the mood to twirl my noodles like spaghetti. I requested a medium spice level and it was perfect! Really bad Thai food. I want to throw up. The pad see ewe was not savory and it was really sweet and slimy.. the coconut soup didn't taste like coconut and had a really off flavor. The Thai iced tea was ok but the bobas old and more crumbly than chewy. The plastic bags and packaging have a really bad cheap old lady perfume smell this place is my introduction to Thai food 20 years ago, and this is my first time back since. I was really in the mood for some drunken noodles so I stopped by this local spot. I got the drunken noodles with shrimp and made sure to order it spicy. The total was about $15 and while portion size was just okay, the flavor was standout. True to their name, they certainly don't mess around when it comes to spice. The noodles were the perfect texture, not too chewy. The vegetables were delicious, as well and definitely needed for variety. I wish there were more noodles and shrimp though since it was quite tasty. The plate it comes in is wide but shallow which made it an okay portion for the price. The staff was welcoming and my food was ready in about 10 minutes. There are a couple tables to sit inside if you wish but feels mostly like a takeout place. I used to eat here 30 years ago at this location when i was a kid so it brings back a lot of nostalgia visiting here. The staff is still very friendly and welcoming. But this place is def right on track with its 3 star review average. While it still has that OG flavor, the spicy chicken over rice, (which apparently on Thursday is half the price but I came on Friday and paid $11 and some change, Albeit I love the flavors) along with being half the size it used to be, it's poured onto overcooked, clumpy and mushy rice. Now rice should be the easy part and it really shows if the restaurant cares if they do the rice right. This place absolutely does not. Add a little more protein on full price days, rinse the rice better before you cook its so it's not starchy and mushy and we're back up to a 4 star review. read more
