COVID 19 Review I went to have breakfast a while back with a friend and they were absolutely amazing!! The waitress I had was incredibly nice and kept a pleasant conversation. Even in a busy time like this, they nailed the customer service and the food was even better! They only have outdoor seating right now and they do delivery. My bf and I came on New Year's Day. When we called there was no wait for two, but by the time we got there it was packed. We waited a little while to sit and for our food to come out, but we had our mimosas to keep us occupied and the service was great overall. I really enjoyed the eggs Benedetto because spinach, roasted reds and pesto are a few of my favorites and combined was delicious over ciabatta and hollandaise. If I get it again, I would love to add crab! My bf had the big easy Benedict and liked it, but he did say he liked my dish better. We shared the grand French for the center of the table, which was a tasty. We have gotten the king French toast before and it was very good, I would recommend. Food was alright, very fun drink selections. We went with more savory options but I wish we tried a sweet as well. A great brunch location by the Cherry Hill Mall. I love how cozy it is and how the portions are large. Some days there can be a wait for brunch -- but I usually call in advance to make sure before I go. Most of the foods here taste pretty simple -- as stated in the menu, it isn't too flavorful or saucy. The morning coffees/lattes and beverages are a favorite of mine. I had the basic skillet and my coworker had the eggs Benedict. Potatoes were pretty much raw for both of us. The basic skillet was extra basic not much flavor but whatever it's basic so not much to complain about. The eggs Benedict however was missing the hollandaise sauce aka the main ingredient. Ordered curbside takeout from here this morning. I ordered the Big Easy Benedict with well done potatoes. The food tasted delicious, the only issue was the poached eggs were completely well done inside. This happened before when I ordered this too. I'll come back, just next time I will ask for the poached eggs to be undercooked. read more

This is my go to brunch spot in Cherry Hill! My boyfriend and I always come here. It's cute, bright and cozy with outdoor seating too. They have a good variety of coffee and tea. They food here is always delicious and they give you a lot of food! They have seasonal dishes all the time which is nice if you wanna venture out and try something new. The employees here are nice and even though the wait may look long, they always get you in faster than what the wait time may be. Highly recommend this spot for your brunch cravings! read more

I dont like leaving bad reviews but I also don't like paying for food that isnt edible. This was really disappointing. The scrambled eggs had a strange chemical taste and seemed like they were made from powdered eggs . The potatoes were dry and cold and there was RAW onion and green pepper mixed in . The English muffin tasted like cardboard. We left most of the food on our plates and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was ok.. we got breakfast from Chick-fil-A and it was amazing in comparison. read more

By far the worst turning point in this area. The food here is way below average and it is never fresh. The first time I came here the food, the service, and the atmosphere was great but since that first time things have exponentially gone down hill. This is really a 3.5 review but no halfsies and I mulled over it a while but just couldn't go with 4. That being said I really really wanted to love this place, it's close, it's brunch, new, ample parking. So you walk in they are pretty friendly, they have a "bar" but no drinks... Tea, coffee, it's cute but lacking. Note this is not a byob either. What is also nice in the waiting area they have self serve coffee/tea while you wait. It is extremely bright inside, which is a bit much. The staff is pretty nice from the front desk to the servers. I didn't like the fact that they were swiffer-vacuuming while I was eating. On to food, to I ordered the NY pastrami omelette, it was good, but I probably did the place an injustice by doing so since there is a near by diner that has one that I am in love with. It didn't measure up. I will say the food was very fresh, kind of a silver diner feel. But I didn't really see any real brunch options, nothing that wowed me. I also had one of their hot chocolate specials that I was sure was going to be a slam dunk, I went with my servers recommendation, I got the smore's , the concept was great, the first few sips were amazing, but no way I could finish it, I was on sugar overload. Nothing was bad, it was just ok at best good. I will likely try them again, I mean they are so close and more importantly right next door to the massage spot. Food was great the first two times I went. Ordered my usual Marsala eggs Benedict and banana foster waffles. Wait is a good usual 20-25mins on weekends. But on this past weekend, service was slower and my food was not warm. Waffle had no crisp and was drenched in syrup. Pretty dissapointed about my Waffle since I was looking forward to it so much. Morgan and I went here on the recommendation of a close friend today- one who we know values the ambiance of a restaurant much more highly than the quality of the food - so I should have known what to expect. It is exactly the type of place he loves - somewhere that looks fresh and unique but puts out mediocre food that leaves much to be desired. I had the bananas foster waffle and a side order of sausage and Morgan had a side of potatoes, a side of bacon and the very chocolate pancake. As we were eating we both said to each other - "wow, we definitely should have gone to green eggs" which is our current favorite spot. On the surface, they're comparable - they have a nice enough atmosphere and the wait staff are friendly. Beyond that it's not even close - the quality of everything I ate today was sub par - honestly, I'd prefer to go to the Black Horse Diner and I don't like the Black Horse Diner. The waffle was under-cooked, the sausage was cold, the potatoes were definitely previously frozen, the bacon tasted cheap and the pancake was average at best. At the diner the prices are more reasonable and they give you a larger volume of the same quality food. The one positive note was the peanut butter hot chocolate - Morgan loved it. Overall, I was thoroughly unimpressed with Turning Point - which was a huge let down because I had heard such good things. I have a doctor, that I see once a year, and we always swap breakfast places. So last week I asked him where he has been lately and he mentioned The Turning Point. I said, "Doc tell me that isn't the worst service you've ever had?" His answer, "Yes-every time." I have eaten all three Turning Points in the area. You need to eat before you go because you will starve before a plate comes to your table AND that is if your order is correct. The kitchen is so slow...even if they are NOT crowded. One time the server put someone else's bill on my credit card. Twice, without me asking, I have been giving a free dining certificate because my meals came out late. That tells you how long it took. I no longer go to a Turning Point and, to be honest, the Cherry Hill location is the worst one for all the reasons specified. Eater beware. I don't get the love for this place when there are other great eateries out there. read more

Recently went midweek at 11:30 a.m. There was no wait to be seated with plenty of tables available. We were seated in the smaller room with the fireplace which was a nice touch on a cold blustery day. I ordered a skillet that included diced tomatoes, avocado and eggs atop crispy potatoes but subbed pork sausage instead of bacon. It arrived with a small bowl of fruit and an English muffin. It was very good although I felt the amount of sausage was a bit stingy. Hubby devoured his chicken cranberry wrap that came with salsa and chips. Food arrived fairly promptly. However, as the lunch crowd started filling the restaurant, it seemed that our server vanished as she took orders for 4 other tables. It took a very long time to get our check and even longer for the change. I would return again but would opt to go during a less busy time. read more

The Turning Point is without a doubt one of my go to places for brunch in jersey. The portions definitely suffice my heavy appetite, and the meal itself is very lovely. Usually I choose to get one of their Benedict dishes (which are great btw), however when I went earlier I decided to try something new for a change and got the Southern Chicken & Waffles. OMG the chicken and waffles were amazing. The minute it was served my friend and I were in awe with the gravy amply poured onto the dish. The cranberries sprinkled on top made the dish feel not too heavy. I also put tabasco hot sauce on too and it fit my food preferences perfectly. 3/5 on their chocolate chip pancakes, they were fluffy and tasty but not life changing or anything. tldr; get the southern chicken & waffles OR the Benedict dishes read more

Today was a bad experience... Thats why is 3 stars. We are usually customers here but today we wait 45 mins to have our food, my little one 3 years old was starving.... I have been dying to try the turning point, a New Jersey breakfast/brunch/lunch chain. The menu was huge and there were a lot of great drink options including French press coffee, espresso, and s'mores hot chocolate. There were breakfast options as well as lunch options. I was torn between French toast, a waffle or an omelette. I chose the western omelette because it came with fruit, potatoes and an English muffin. My friend got an omelette as well. The omelette was delicious and the potatoes were slightly undercooked but okay. I saw other people's French toast and waffles and would definitely go back to try those along with a specialty hot or iced drink. The prices were fair and service was pretty good. It was also fairly busy for a Thursday morning but there was plenty of seating and we did not have to wait at all. read more

After my daughter and I were seated, we did not get any silverware. The waitress took our order, and when we mentioned our tableware, she never came back with it. We had to ask another staff member. Our waitress did not refill my cup of coffee or asked if I wanted a refill. My daughter ordered pancakes, and they gave her French toast.
