I ordered a poke bowl and all of the the ingredients are fresh! It's a small but very friendly spot! I ordered their lemon yogurt drink and it was very refreshing for a hot summer day! Service was great and staff super friendly and helpful.

Shrimp onigiri
Kelly M.

Absolutely loved the food and the friendly fast service we received... please check this place out if you haven't already. I had two kinds of onigiri (Spam & shrimp) and they were sooooo good, especially the Spam which I didn't think I was going to like at all... it was so full of flavor. The shrimp was really good too and taste super fresh. I also had a strawberry iced tea with Boba and it was excellent and taste so fresh. My daughter had the California roll which she also loved. I can't find onigiri ij my area so anytime we're out of town and I can find it I make sure to get some but this was the best I've had yet. And the service was so welcoming and friendly!

Build your own poke bowl

Build your own poke bowl is great! I got half spicy salmon and half spicy tuna. Their sauce options are different from other poke places in the area (I think they're better). 10/10 would recommend! Great service also--everyone is super nice :)

Cloud coffee is so good!

What a great find! My daughter wanted to eat poke bowl to celebrate her finishing her SAT's so thanks to Yelp we found this place. The cloud coffee is so good. The kids loved their drinks- taro bubble and strawberry kiwi smoothie. And the poke bowls were really filling and delicious. Service was great, super kind. The restaurant is clean with four tables. They were also helpful and accommodating to our food allergies. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a great meal!

Strawberry Probiotic Tea (L) with boba

This bubble tea spot is in the midst of other well known bubble tea places and it can def compete! The tea here is so fresh and I love how they use muddled fruit instead of fruit flavored syrup in their drinks. I had a strawberry probiotic tea with boba. This is oolong tea mixed with Yakult, muddled strawberries and white tapioca. I drank this so fast because it was so good! The only negative thing is not being able to adjust the sugar or ice level in this drink.

I have a taste for bubble tea after brunch, figure i try something new instead of my usual spots. Search and found You Cha of Cherry Hill. You Cha is located in a small shopping center right next to Sang Kee Noodle Cafe. Sincerely speaking, I think You Cha is mediocre at best. I ordered Cheesy Pineapple and You Cha Messy Milk. They're both ok in flavor. The cheese foam in Cheesy Pineapple do makes the drink taste more creamy and flavorful. But You Cha Messy Milk with brown sugar boba was pretty disappointing. First, the boba were mix, like some were mushy, some were chewy, while others a bit chewy on the outside and hard on the core, got me confused as hell.... Let me guess, the staff mix last night boba with first and second batch boba today? Creating a three texture boba hahaha

We discovered this place while waiting for our dinner order at the restaurant next door. I did a quick search of the menu and picked out a Cloud coffee to try. That is how I got hooked. The cloud coffee is my favorite. I tried the cheesy strawberry and it has a floral note to it that I am not a fan of, but that just means I have to try something new. This is a cute shop. I love family owned businesses.

Wow. Great bubble tea. Hi, my name is Jeff. And I review mostly Vietnamese and some Asian restaurants around the Philadelphia Metro area. Bubble tea is a must-have in my family. In fact, we enjoy it at least 2-3 times a week. You Cha has been around for a couple years. Before a lot of the competition came into the area. Today in 2022 (not including Philly) that includes Gong Cha, Ten Asian Food Hall, Tiger Sugar, Mr. Wish...to name a few. Not to forget to mention the growing number of Asian eateries with places like Mango Mango and even Mochi Ring (donuts). What differentiates You Cha from the bubble tea competition? First is taste. I can't taste any milk powder in my Earl Grey milk tea (with bubbles added). That's a big win above a lot of traditional bubble tea places. And the tea - excellent. Very fresh and a good ratio between water and tea. We also got a You Cha Messy Milk which has milk foam (yess), milk and brown sugar boba. No sugar added. And no tea (caffeine). Perfect for my wife during the week days. They also have messy milks with dragon fruit, mango or taro - YUM. Second? This is a local and small business. Not a chain. Not a franchise. The interior is done very nicely (Covid is still around so no dine-in yet) and it looks like you can order online their menu off their website and pick it up. That's huge for someone like me that knows the other services take their share on orders, even when picked up. We plan on checking out their Thai Iced Tea, Yin Yang (Black Sesame paste, paired with coffee and whole milk) and Cloud Coffee (Dalgona?!). Then we plan on trying their bubble waffle (HK style!) and popcorn chicken. Great place to go, bring friends, family and try something new literally every time you're there. Awesome spot!!

I understand their difference from other bubble tea place is no powder. But this is pricey!! Messy Taro - I love taro. It is real taro in the cup and milk. I literally see the lady put taro in the cup, spread it on the side of cup to make it look like a lot, and pour milk from the gallon and that's it!! $6smthg with tax. The drink is not too sweet. Only size only on the messy drinks - and the cup is small! Brown sugar bubble tea - not sweet, may be more brown sugar? Nothing special with this one - again one size, only small cup for $6.xx. The drinks are too expensive to get it every other day or every week. I guess I would only come for taro drink when I have cravings. Back to Kung Fu Tea.

Deb A.

Roasted milk tea was satisfying. Ordered it with 70 percent sugar and 50 percent ice. The black tea was fragrant and not too bitter. I would totally get it again. Messy Taro was also very good. I like the mash taro and milk combo. Also got 70 percent sugar but will it tasted sweeter since it's not tea base.

The Poke bowl was great and the Boba Tea is some of the best in the area. Person working the counter gave us extra sauce at no charge.

However, the food left a lot to be desired. I got the Maui bowl with salmon and tuna. As I watched the older gentleman assemble the food I noticed that the size of the fish was tiny, like very tiny cubes and I've never encountered that at any other poke establishments. I thought maybe he was going to do two scoops of each fish to make up for the size but I was wrong. He did one small scoop of the tuna and then the salmon, but I saw that the scoop wasn't fully emptied before he put it back, so I got half of a scoop basically. Then they proceeded to drown the bowl in a spicy mayo sauce. I honestly can't even tell you if the food tasted fresh or what the marinate in the marinated tuna tasted like and nor can I tell you the texture of the fish because the cubes are that small, and on top of that, you can't taste anything through the thick sauce. For $16 something dollars it is almost criminal for a small lettuce bowl with a few scrap pieces of fish. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

Ohana Poke Bowl - Chi-Poke Trio & Bubble Tea

This isn't my first time at Ohana Poke Bowl & definitely not going to be my last either. I wouldn't…read moresay they're the best Poke I've ever had, but they definitely come in 2nd place. I'm a repeat customer, and here's some things I just have to say! DRIVE This location is about 10-15 minutes away from Cherry Hill Mall. PARKING Despite the parking lot being small, there is also some street parking available. It's a cozy cute lot, but it definitely needs some updating as there's some noticeable dips and pot holes. On the weekdays, around lunch time, I still have a spot to pull into but there is some coming and going from the plaza itself. SHOP The overall location of the shop is super cozy and cute, with a theatre right across the street. I didn't realize Ohana is also a sit down shop until it was asked. There's not many tables and chairs, but I was told most people pick up their food and go. I definitely want to come back and sit down at some point because it's so cute and cozy. I felt weird taking photos of everything, and felt a bit disrespectful since I wasn't staying to sit down and also have been taking my food to go for quite a while now. SELECTION I keep coming back here because this is the only Poke location & shop in the Southern Jersey / Philly area that has its selection. The first time I ever had Poke was in New York City. I had bulgogi with mango cucumbers pineapple sticky white rice and a sauce I can't remember off the top of my head. Ohana has been as close to that taste and selection as possible compared to others who have Poke shops. You may think adding mango and pineapple is weird to Poke, but it really adds flavor to the bowl. My favorite sauce is citrus ponzu. They have many other things to choose from on the menu like mochi, bubble tea, & other drinks. Like I said, I just need to come in and have a sit down meal one of these days and enjoy a little bit of everything Ohana has to offer. The girl at the reception is always really awesome & chill too! PRICE This location & shop has the largest portions available that are worth it for the price! Poke, no matter where you go, does not come cheap. Whenever I buy from here, I get a good 2 full meals worth of Poke whether I choose a small (1 protein) or large (2 protein). You also get 5 add ins no matter the portion size you choose. But even then the bowl sizes are much bigger than anywhere else I've ever been, but not as big as the one I had in NYC. NYC Poke is on a whole other level. Anywhere else, I get 1 meal and it's pricey and they don't have the selections I go for. Poke does not come cheap so you want to have a good variety of options & also a decent portion sized. This place is worth the bang for a buck! IF YOU'RE KNEW, If you're new to Poke Bowl's, I would go for white rice, salmon, corn, scallions, carrots, and cucumbers. MY GO TO ORDER: Large. White rice. Spicy mayo on top of white rice. Salmon & Tofu. Pineapple, mango, cucumbers, carrots, & corn. Crispy noodles. Citrus ponzu sauce. It may change 1 or 2 ingredients depending on what I'm in the mood for! Would love to see bulgogi, beef/steak or other meats added as an option for protein. But not necessary since what they do have I'm really enjoying! OVERALL I will definitely be a repeat visitor at Ohana whenever I'm in the South Jersey / Philadelphia area. I bounce around quite a bit between Philly, North Jersey, & NYC.

My issues with the food we received: the teriyaki chicken bowl took about 35 mins, for it to have been cold with few pieces of chicken being lukewarm. The cheesecake - why was it warm!? Was like it was placed in the microwave to defrost ? Interesting. The boba milk tea was just meh. However my issue with the milk tea was more the conversation with the waitress - explaining to me and only me what the brown sugar drink was. But this place is different and combines everything together. Anyways I'm so glad I gave it a shot because it tasted FRESH and authentic ! Not the overly sweet Americanized mall type of Asian fast food or Americanized suburbia food just catering to western palate. The chef strikes the perfect balance of authenticity and still familiar to most eaters. Very reasonably priced. I hope they do well and stick around.
