Meat lovers delight

This place is a GEM! Just like home!! The team here is gracious and kind... the omelets delicious and yes the coffee! If you want a spot that's like your own kitchen.... This is it!

This is a great diner. Whether you're craving breakfast, lunch or dinner this diner has it all. I tried some of the breakfast food as well as I ordered the seafood platter; both meals were amazing. They are Greek salad is the best I've had, the feta cheese on the salad was amazing. The seafood platter was very good except the crab cake had too much filling/stuffing, but the scallops and shrimp are noteworthy. I highly recommend this diner.

What a cute little place. The staff was so friendly felt like you were in someone's home. The waitress was very social even got a hug from another tables child lol as she was joking with him. So cute. We were served quickly and the food was tasty. We ordered off of the lunch special menu. Overall good experience. I would definitely come again. I like that type of atmosphere. At the time we went it wasn't too crowded and staff was really nice and accommodating. Food was good and I wanna come again and maybe try breakfast. If your in the area I suggest you give them a try.

Pumpkin Pancakes...wouldn't order again
Hollie S.

Recently I went to the new Maple Hill Restaurant in Maple Shade, NJ. Until recently I didn't even know the New Maple Hill Restaurant existed. Atmosphere: When I arrived around dinner time, it wasn't too busy. The outside is a cute, building with hanging lights. It reminds me of walking into a house versus a restaurant. The inside has a small bar and a couple of rooms. It does echo, and you can hear every person's conversation in the diner. Coffee: The coffee was good and brewed hot and fresh. It wasn't anything unusual, but it was good. Food: The New Maple Hill Restaurant has plenty of options from all day breakfast, sandwiches, and dinner options.  It looks like a typical diner with simple options, but there isn't anything unique or special on the menu. I decided to order off their specials menu: Pumpkin Pancakes! When they came out, nothing about them was good. They didn't look appetizing, and they were paper thin. It was shocking they were a special because I could have cooked better pancakes myself.  I found myself hungry afterward. Service: Our waitress was friendly and friendly but came around. We could have used more refills.  Our food came out relatively quickly. Overall Thoughts/Would I come back? I didn't enjoy my food. If I go come back, I would definitely order something else.

Bread and rolls in the white box about six feet from the rodent trap before this place opens?
Michael C.

Have been here a few times breakfast was good BUT having traveled by this restaurant early in the morning I have noticed a neighborhood person helping himself to the bread and rolls left outside by the bread vendor by the side door. Not sure if this would be considered a crime or not? I took a couple pictures of where the rolls are left in the morning before the Maple Hill opens and they are left by the side door about six feet away from a rodent trap (wtf). And on the ground where bugs can also get into any items that might be not stored in bags, I am not sure how the rolls are left in the boxes but just makes me think! Check the pictures for yourself then decide for yourself. I am not sure the bread supplier does not have a key for the door? Now to be fair it is a restaurant and I think maybe they should do a better job protecting the things people eat. So since this review about the Maple Hill I did get a response from a Lisa T regarding my concerns and she has assured me that this would be taken care of. And true to her word rodent trap has been moved and outside is a little cleaned up. Keep you posted and then I will remove the posting.

Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Sandwich.
Jeffrey N.

I would rate it three and a half stars if I could. I had gotten the jumbo lump crab cake sandwich with broiled crab cakes. For the first couple of bites, it tasted quite delicious and had a legit crab taste but towards the end it felt kind of heavy, most likely because of all the oil. The fries were pretty fresh too but I didn't end up finishing everything. It was nice that I had gotten a free soup with it though since it was lunch time. In terms of atmosphere, it had a homey diner feel. I would probably come back again though to try the breakfast since those are usually the highlight of a diner. P. S. Don't get the chicken croquette because that's what my friend got and it was rather dry and bland in comparison even though it comes with potatoes, veggies, a salad and a dessert.

The food is always good. The staff is consistent. Chrissy, Laura, and Chrystal are three of the best servers you will find anywhere.

It was very busy at the time I went and there was to be up to a 15 minute wait, so I was pleasantly surprised when no more than 2 minutes went by before I got the text that the booth was ready. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. It was bustling and loud inside. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and fast. Ordered onion rings for the table, which were very good. For the main dish, this time I ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye, which was excellent. The only complaint I'd have was that the broccoli was a bit off and I had to leave them on the dish. The mashed potatoes were very good. The "steak sauce" wasn't needed and taste-wise it probably won't be for everyone anyway. Located in the Moorestown Mall, you don't need to go into the mall as Yard House has its own entrance. There is plenty of parking in the lots. This was twice for me in the Yard House and I can say I'm a fan. I'd easily come back here or any other Yard House location in the future. And I will.

Destiny our server kept tabs on us and tracked down things as needed. Most of our HH menu was sent via the tablet on the table, further enabling an awesome experience with no lag. Drinks came mostly fast. Food came hot. Never regret an early dinner at Yard House.

The restaurant is beautiful and would be perfect for a date night or special occasion. Our waitress was friendly and honest, even mentioning that the chef had changed and some dishes weren't as good as before. We started with the crispy calamari, which was overly fried and lacked flavor. I also ordered the clam chowder and burrata caprese. The chowder was extremely salty and I couldn't finish it, while the burrata had great flavors but the dough was underbaked and too soft to even hold. My parents ordered the baby back ribs and steak frites, and both were disappointed as well. Overall, the atmosphere and service were excellent, but the food fell short. Maybe it was just an off day, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the glowing reviews my parents had shared.

When we arrived everyone was attentive and super nice. It wasn't crowded which was surprising. Our waited was Glenn who was very polite, friendly and accommodating. He offered us recommendations and was very cautious to serve while not rushing us. We started off with the Angry Cashew Shrimp which was Glenn's recommendation and it was amazing! We followed this with a 8oz filet each with the black garlic butter and I got the lobster tail on the side. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing especially with the butter added. We also got the Parmesan truffle fries and Brussel sprouts to share and both were out of this world as well. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake which was HUGE very good and moist. When we were leaving there was a band playing in the bar area and people dancing. Looks like it's a nice hang out on the weekends. We will be back again and hope to stay for some music as well! 10/10!!!

First and foremost, our server was excellent. Polite and prompt, friendly, everything you want in a server. My problem was the food ... I ordered the halibut, asked my server about the "seasonal veggies" it comes with (she mentioned asparagus, okay good) because I do love veggies, but there are some I just really do not. Unfortunately, those exact veggies arrived on the plate, and my entree looked more like stir fry. I don't like onions or peppers ... and they were the base veggie of the dish. The menu describes the "sauce" as a lemon citronette, and this dish was not at all what I was expecting. It lacked flavor, there was no sauce, not a hint of lemon (I even squeezed some on there & it didnt help :( ) I can get past some vegetables I don't eat, just pushed them to the side, but the halibut was so so so incredibly dry. It wasn't soft, or flakey, or moist. (I hate that word but it was the best way to describe what it lacked) It was like cardboard. I was trying to choke it down because I too, had just worked a serving shift for Mothers Day, & it was the first thing I was eating all day. My husband mentioned something to the server because he knew I wouldn't haha, I don't like to be a pain customer or send things back. Fortunately, they did take it off the bill, but it was just a bummer. Willing to try again in the future, & I'll just stay away from the halibut.

It's a full bar with its own bar area. Definitely an upgrade from the typical part time bar in a lobby a suburban hotel. I had a manhattan and it looked fantastic. Look at that black glass! Tasted great too. Problem? $20! We're not in Philly. This is the 'burbs. That was robbery. But if you're leaning into a corporate expense report I guess who cares. Small menu but diverse. A little something for everyone. I got the spring mix salad which looks like they dumped an entire bag of salad in a bowl. You can't see it but there are chopped tomatoes that are in the center instead of being mixed in. Then I got the chicken parm which was huge. It was a half pound of pasta with a giant chicken breast. It was decent, not amazing, but super filling and definitely worth the money. So for in a hotel, Redz is a good place. But the prices are just too high.
