For lunch, I had the Mediterranean Grains and Greens salad which is a new addition to their menu and it was amazing. I decided to add chicken for extra protein and was glad I did! Everything was very fresh and the flavors went together very nicely. My friend got an omelet and was very please with that too. Everything was nice and the staff was friendly too. It is just like every other chain. We had some high hopes after reading the reviews. But we were not very impressed. We were here on a weekend, Sunday, for brunch. Ordered Flatbread, Grande Huevo Ranchero and kids French toast sticks. The flatbread toppings were nice but the bread itself was not very nice. Felt it was not fresh. The Grande Huevo Ranchero was a big portion of open faced burrito inside which there were scrambled eggs , sour cream, salsa, avocado and lot of fried potatoes. Missing salt and flavor. Service was prompt and polite but the food took a while to come. Ambiance is casual, they have open outdoor seating for those good days. But this is just another chain, I would say. Really great first experience here. We ate outside and it was comfortable, service was quick, & our server Pauly was really personable/helpful. This was my first vegan omelet and it was really tasty with hot sauce & vegan sausage on the side. French press coffee is perfect for 2-3 people and makes for a very cute dining experience. Partner got the strawberry chocolate pancakes (very fluffy) & bacon (very good). Only con is it's not exactly in a walkable neighborhood but that's just how Cherry Hill is, and many parts of NJ lol. Stopped in on a Friday for a quick lunch with mom. We were greeted and seated immediately. We both ordered the half sandwich and half salad combo with the cranberry walnut chicken salad and a chop chop salad. The chicken salad was delicious and just had the right touch of sweetness. The breakfast combo and the shrimp and grits are what we had. Both were yummy. The service was good. Our waitress got busy so other staff members stepped in to help. I thought I already posted this. My friend took me to Turning Point yesterday to celebrate my birthday which I just passed. I don't remember being there before but the food was great. I ordered a half turkey BLT on multigrain bread which I forgot to ask the waitress what kind it was. It was good and a half salad, which was a large portion for a half. I loved the salad. It was a crunchy salad with pieces of chicken and beans and cheese. I believe all I know is and it had a green dressing and it was excellent. I liked it even better than the sandwich and my friend had a board of bagel lock cream cheese, cucumbers, and she loved hers and we got the crêpes with fresh fruit for dessert so we had one crêpe each and fresh fruit, and a strawberry sauce, which was just a great end to the meal not too heavy just light enough for us to enjoy, and when the waitress heard, it was my birthday she presented me with a wrapped chocolate chip cookie to take home. I don't usually write reviews for restaurants, but I did really enjoy this. read more

Salted caramel mocha chino and Large plate of food that was very good. I ordered The Wilber minus the tomato. Paul asked if I wanted to substitute with other vegetables. So I substituted red and green peppers. Very good, definitely suggested. Order placed and food delivered within 10 minutes. About 30 minutes after arriving the place started getting busier. This location was surprisingly skeevy. The Moorestown location is far and away the better of the two. We sat in the side dining room, which had a dirty carpet and a bunch of old tables, none of which were bussed. Our waiter was fine, but they got our order wrong and we had to wait for them to remake the correct stuff. And when the correct stuff did hit the table, it was meh. I didn't read the fine print when I ordered my Cuban sandwich, and it came with TOMATOES! Tomatoes on a cubano is just vile. I like the Turning Point, but I won't be in any kind of rush to get back to THIS location. read more

We were seated in ten minutes and our server was terrific! The food was horrible! In fact, this was one of the worst breakfasts I have had in a long time. I had the traditional breakfast. The potatoes seemed liked they were half baked in the oven and were garnished with raw onions and green peppers. The combination was so disgusting I pushed them aside. The egg whites were watery. Now, the bacon was very good. Coffee was lukewarm and weak. My husband ordered the same meal but had pancakes and he concurred with my analysis. This is the third time we've eaten at a Turning Point and each time we have been disappointed. With all the restaurant options in the area, it will be difficult for me to return here. It was our first time at Turning Point, and our server Paul was a wonderful guide through our dining experience! He recommended the Vanilla Chai Latte (which was divine!) and the Key West omelet! I ordered both and thoroughly enjoyed them! The Key West omelet was packed with shrimp and avocado and was enhanced with creole spices and jack cheese! The restaurant itself feels homey and warm with photos of local spots hanging on the seafoam green walls. We will absolutely be back and will insist on sitting in Paul's section if available! He was such a kind, warm presence throughout our meal. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and even contributed items we didn't even know we needed! 10/10! read more

Went here yesterday with a friend that recommended it. I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon, avocado, tomato on a ciabatta with the mixed greens that had a nice lemon vinaigrette. My food was delicious! I also ordered on their "Spring specials" the coconut cold brew. It tasted perfect with the right amount of coconut- was not too sweet. My friend ordered the Wilmer skillet I believe it's called and everything was cooked great. Our server was very attentive and even joked with me when I jokingly said I didn't like the meal, she said "Oh I see you didn't like it" and laughed. The ambiance was cute and quaint and there was a good amount of people but we didn't have to wait. They also have outdoor seating which looks like others took advantage of since it was nice out. Went for brunch to the Moorestown location. We opted for the Prosecco and strawberry juice. You do have to purchase the bottle. It's not BYOB for all my byob drinkers out there. Drinks were good. I got the eggs Benedict which was cooked to perfection. Potatoes cooked good. Only thing is waitress handed us bill while we were still drinking and talking, we kind of felt a little rushed. Used to live near here 3-4 years ago and we were semi-regulars. Turning point is a "nice" chain for people who don't feel like "slumming it" at a diner for breakfast or brunch, and they charge accordingly. For example, a plain Belgian waffle with zero accouterments is $9...TWO measly links of chicken sausage will run you nearly $5. Etc. etc. I know, I know: product prices are up. Don't worry: turning point also has the now ubiquitous "we are short staffed" sign to greet you up front. They used to do call ahead seating, but not anymore. Wait time on an outdoor table for 4 on Sunday at 10:30 am was quoted as 30 minutes. We went to check inside at the 40 minute mark and the table was ready...I'm not sure why they didn't call us on the phone # that the hostess initially asked for in order to let us know? All that being said: the food and drink quality is pretty good. The avocados look green, the coffee and tea selection far exceeds what you'll find in a diner, the decor is "cute" and the cherry hill location has a decent amount of outdoor seating under a pergola. The tables are set back a little bit from busy Haddonfield road so you won't have any problem holding a conversation. Ambiance was enjoyable on a cool autumn morning and being outside put our dining partners at ease. Service was mostly good except for a couple of fairly big things: they forgot my waffle! Everyone else at the table had more complicated orders (egg stuff, I dislike eggs so I can't describe what they got, omelets probably) that came out without issue. To avoid any awkwardness, I told them to go ahead and mangia while their food was hot. My waffle was eventually served and it was good, golden brown and I think real butter was served atop. Fortunately I don't like fake maple syrup because that's what they serve. Plus I guess it isn't brought out unless you ask? Speaking of ask: I also had to ask for a refill on tap water. The two of us (we split the bill with another couple) paid $44 before tip for breakfast. Nikki had some sort of omelet and coffee, I had the aforementioned waffle with chicken sausage and a "meadow" herbal tea. I highly recommend the meadow tea if you don't want caffeine: the mix of chamomile, rose petals, linden flowers (makes me think of the Union county town), and other aromatics is simply delightful! Aside from my company, the tea was today's highlight. We'd go back again if we had visitors in the immediate vicinity who wanted to grab brunch someplace "nice." You could definitely do worse, but there's also better. Hence the 3 stars. read more

The dish I got came out cold they took it back and they had the audacity to say oh it should be right we put it in the microwave. Still not enough to the quality of other turning point restaurants I've gone to made me another one and didn't even look like the first one. Plus reheated it the first one twice and my my wife's smoothie wasn't even to the top of the glass and I don't know if you're supposed to or not put some whipped cream on it or not. It had been over five years since my last visit to The Turning Point when I visited the other day. I'm pretty sure they were fairly new when I first stopped in. As I looked for breakfast spots last week in the Cherry Hill area, their menu drew me in once more. These covid-era days, there are less tables to allow for proper social distancing. They include a note on the table that it's been sanitized. All servers were wearing masks. Our server was friendly and prompt. I ordered coffee (unlimited refills), and my mom ordered Mao Feng Shui green tea -- a flavor she enjoyed so much that she purchased a dozen bags to go. We started with the bacon lollipops app. It was certainly intriguing and different. Bacon wrapped apples with brown sugar and caramel sauce. Not bad. For her meal, my mom had the classic French toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the roadhouse bacon stack (theme?) without tomatoes. It arrived without bacon too, so the server swiftly sent it to the kitchen and re-delivered it within the minute. Nbd. The sandwich was quite good. Service was very amicable and relatively attentive! The AC was on full blast inside, so it was pretty cold while we sat and waited for our food. The wait at around noon on a Saturday for us three was around 5 minutes for a table, which was unexpectedly quick, but the food took forever - we waited 45 minutes for what I'd think are relatively uncomplicated dishes, but at least the waitress kept checking in with us. As for the food itself, the New York bagel platter was not as impressive as I've seen at other brunch places. The person who ordered was still hungry afterwards! I liked my waffle, but wish the AC had been turned down, because it went stone cold too fast. The best was hands down the crossfit omelette, as it was bigger than expected for the portion and for egg whites! The cooked veggies inside were yummy too; however, I think the accompanying salad was wrong since it didn't match what the menu said and has absolutely no dressing. Maybe they ran out? This was my first time eating here. I scheduled for a pickup order which was completed in about 40 minutes. I arrived to the restaurant and my order was ready to go. Before pulling off, I checked my bag and realized one of the main dishes I ordered was missing. I returned and they said it'd take around 5-7 minutes to cook up the dish if I didn't mind waiting. So, after the wait, I returned and picked up the missing dish. I ordered the vegan pancakes with a side of potatoes. French toast, bacon, eggs with cheddar cheese, & a strawberry smoothie. The pancakes were perfect. It's something on the menu I wouldn't have minded trying again. The potatoes had a weird taste, as if they were cooked with a whole bunch of other things & they were incredibly over cooked. To the point of being burnt. There were about 3 pieces of bacon included in the meal & what seemingly looked like a slice of cheese thrown over the eggs. Little to no seasoning on any of the dishes. All in all, for the pricing, compared to the quality of the food... unfortunately, I don't see myself returning to The Turning Point. read more
