A really good cafe in the unlikeliest of places I recently had an egg salad sandwich that was okay but lacking flavor, contrast, and seasoning. So I figured why not subject myself to another try at a different cafe and see how they fare? I punch this place into my gps, then get sent to an orthopedic urgent care building. Starting off strong, I park and look for signs of a cafe. I find them towards the main entrance of the institute, and make my way in. It's a very small cafe, right at the entrance. The owner was very nice and happy to answer any questions. I get the egg salad sandwich and a cappuccino then sit down at one of the two small tables to wait for my order to come out. I get my cappuccino, and it's done very well! Good coffee, properly steamed milk, a very solid start. I get my egg salad sandwich, take it out, take pics, and dig in. This, to me, is exactly what I was hoping my other egg salad sandwich would've been. Creamy, rich, slightly tangy, seasoned egg salad on fully toasted bread. The creamy egg binder very much tasted of rich egg yolk, with just enough acid, pepper, and salt to make it appropriately balanced. I will say this is not a place that's one to trek to find. It is a very basic cafe in terms of its offerings. But it does treat those offerings correctly, and makes sure that they are tasty first and foremost. If you happen to be in that area and you need a quick lunch, this place is a great random find. It's basic food done right, and very good.

Great good and fresh to start my Monday! We have Panini and Wrap . Love it ! The owner is so nice and friendly. The location is inside the building at the corner of.

Really great little cafe in the Rothman buildiing. Owner is very friendly. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Varied menu and some baked goods available and smoothies. Food tastes even better after fasting 12 hours before routine blood work. Seriously, excellent family owned shop for breakfast and lunch. Some seating available.

Chipotle Chicken wrap with cheddar cheese and hot peppers. Pumpkin Spice Latte (12 oz) "just a little sweet."

I went to try a Strawberry latte because I saw it on the menu of one of the photos uploaded here on Yelp. Unfortunately, they didn't have it. So I ordered a 12oz Pumpkin Spice latte (just a little sweet), and a Chipotle Chicken Wrap. It took no time at all for my food to be ready, and it was delicious. The cafe representative offered me options for how sweet I want my latte, and what ingredients I want in my wrap, which I really appreciated. I selected cheddar cheese and hot peppers. The latte is really good. If I could go to Cafe Lucky Bones every day for a latte, I would! This is the perfect lunch spot for a delicious and quick meal during a lunch break. My total was $13.

A hidden gem housed in the first floor of the Rothman building (Rt 73S and Greentree Rd). Five star service with delicious cappuccino. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the owner who could not be any nicer. The cafe is super clean and stocked with drinks, snacks and made-to-order breakfast foods (see menu pic). There are two cafe tables with flowers in a quiet corner. I was hesitant to try this place thinking it would be a "hospital style" cafe- not even close! A must try for morning coffee.

Excellent!!! Was a quick stop after a procedure at Rothman Institute. Was afraid of the price, because usually places inside buildings trend to over charge; but I was really surprised by the fair price . Latte was perfect! Smell, taste and temperature. Food was delicious; fresh made; was too cold inside; so we ordered to go; food was properly stored; really impressed. Husband ordered eggs; so just an advise if you are like me; allergic to black pepper; remember to ask them to not use . They used as confetti on top of eggs. Husband loved it. Grilled cheeses was the best I have had; lately. Definitely planning to stop by at my next appointment. Dying yo try the strawberry la

I went to First Watch yesterday for the first time. It was a Friday morning around 9am. Since it's…read moreholiday season and people are off work and school, the place was probably much more crowded than usual for a weekday. Either way, my party of 6 got seated immediately. Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

Apparently my pops has been there a few times because he remembered our server and he remembered my dad however, I don't think he did remember Pops but he made my dad feel like he remembered him and that is a good skill. The server was very helpful with picking items off the menu and all of his selections seemed to have been good. I liked mine but I probably won't get the waffle again but not because it wasn't good but I used to love waffles but I've moved on to french toast. That beet juice was interesting but tasted very healthy which doesn't mean it didn't taste good. It just wasn't sweet but it was good and it felt like it did something good for my system. We sat right outside of the kitchen so we did get to see all of the plates come out which is what I like to do so I can get inspired if I need some help finding something to eat but the server took care of that for us. I've been to another since and although the service and food was good, this guy was better.

I happily ordered the strawberry shortcake crepe and a piece of baklava. Came out to about $20 bucks and was told 15-20 minutes wait. 20 minutes seems wild to wait for a crepe but no turning back now. First off, in my to-go bag, no baklava. I had a feeling he was going to forget it. Sad I didn't get to try it and sad I paid for it too. Next time. So this particular crepe, gigantic. Almost too big, but that's my opinion. The whipped cream tasted house made and delicious, the strawberries were plentiful and fresh. I didn't love the sponge cake taste on the inside. The custard was good and the crepe itself was perfect. I want to go back and try a less dramatic crepe, one's who focus is more on the crepe, less on the whipped cream.

However, after a less then stellar first time ordering experience, where I chalked it up to take out vs eating in. FF to round 2 about a month or 2 later and now I'm just fired up... again, the crepes were not very good, unless you prefer 3 different versions of chocolate syrup dominating everything from texture to taste? You can easily judge a crepe place by ordering their lemon and sugar crepe, it's like going to a fancy restaurant who screws up roast chicken but when they get it right, damn do they get it right! At the end of the day, it's a kiss of death bc getting in wrong is far worse than getting it right. This place did not get it right for the 2nd time in a row as I was legit crunching into white sugar crystals. Still, though, I wouldn't be posting this review if not for the following: As I pondered which options to select at the counter, quickly scanning the menu with my 12 year old and over ordering so we could do it right this time and eat it inside with a few different options, I settled with "let's do this one, the Crepeyano". My son reminds me that he's not a big fan of coconut ( we planned to share 3 and we'd each get our own lemon and sugar) but says, it's fine Dad, get that one, I'll be full after 1 of my own and splitting 2 others, etc. Mind you, this convo took place at the register in front of the owner taking our order. So, out comes what I believe I ordered but it's significantly different. I then bring it up to the register where the owners son is and tell him I think I was given the wrong order, he says that's the Crepeyano. At this point I can't remember the name, I just know it's not what was described. So I'm looking at the menu again and find the one I ordered called the Crepeyano and say this is what I ordered, yes, it's the Crepeyano, there's supposed to be coconut creme and doesn't have strawberry or kiwi. , Now the owner interjects and says that's the Crepeyano Purse, not the Crepeyano. Im still very confused for a variety of reasons and don't get what he's saying. I look at the menu again and I say, ok, the Crepeyano Purse has X, Y, Z and this doesn't have that?! He then points out the other menu item listed as Crepeyano and now I'm seriously baffled: 1. He totally heard the coconut convo w my son at the register and didn't say a word? 2. You have 2 specialty options with the same catchy name, one is a traditional crepe and the other is a purse, except the ingredients used are completely different? 3. You have them listed far away from one another on the menu, where it's not obvious at all unless someone is memorizing your menu or is a regular. Still, no big deal... until I finally understand and tell him that I'm sorry and I had no idea there were 2 with practically the same name. So, I ask him if it's possible to make the other one since this is not something I would have ordered and he says "ABSOLUTELY NOT, I DIDNT MAKE THE MISTAKE, YOU DID!" Keep in mind that a Dad with his 12 year old just paid almost $90 for a few crepes, all of which are just smothered in chocolate syrups, far cry from the French style crepe one is accustomed to. It would really kill this guy to have to take back 1 of 5 and remake it? I literally just said, "really? It's like that? No one else has ever made this mistake before? It didn't dawn on you to let us know the one we ordered didn't have coconut creme in it when we were ordering originally? I could understand if I ate half of it but I'm coming to you with 1 bite out of it" He just stared at me and said I can pay for the other if I want him to make it. Wow... what a nice gesture. Sorry for the long novel but I really wanted to make sure I didn't misrepresent everything that occurred in this experience. I have family that really likes this place but they also have never been to a real creperie and have nothing to compare it to. Good luck, but we will never go back to this place again.
