I walked in to French Press after getting a lucky break on street parking in Moorestown one day last week. My GPS said I'd arrived but I had to look up a picture of the place because it's in an old Victorian house set back from the road with a couple other businesses. Being set back allows them to have a quiet outdoor seating area with plenty of shade which you pass by on your way inside. Inside is very cute with much more seating, big bright windows that let in the afternoon sun and decor that blends the coffee shop seamlessly into the beautiful old house. I ordered an iced almond milk latte, my warm weather go to. The counter person asked if I wanted any flavor/syrup and, while I usually don't because I don't like sweet coffee, I acquiesced because she said she could make sure it wasn't super sweet but I still got the flavor. This was quite literally the BEST iced almond milk latte I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. The salted caramel syrup lent just a hint of sweetness but full flavor. The espresso was flawless. I sipped my latte while walking back down Main Street to my car in 80° weather with flowers blooming and birds chirping and it was the perfect lunch break treat. I will be back. read more

Received many recommendations to try French Press from friends and IG. There is no parking lot but street parking is available. This place was a little hard to find at first because it's not easily visible from the street like the other shops. You have to walk down a pathway, past the outdoor seating area, and the entrance is at the left side of the building. The shop itself is cute with many pastries, caffeine options, and indoor/outdoor seating. I got an Iced Chai Latte and it did not disappoint. Our very first visit to this quaint town coffee shop smack middle of their Main Street. Their coffee dark roast was smooth and low acidity. The gentleman serving us was very customer friendly and knowledgeable. We also picked up 2 Almond Croissants that were spectacular! The cutest coffee shop around! Not only is the outside always decorated so nicely but the inside is very cozy. Baristas are great and very friendly. My husband and I love coming here during the weekend. We enjoy sitting down and enjoying our coffee with pastries inside. Early and late mornings are always busy however there is outside seating if indoor seating isn't available. Pastries tend to sell out quickly which is a bummer. Lately everything i love about this place as the tucked away best kept secret is being exploited by the Starbucks hangout computer hogs that want to park it and zombie out all day clogging up the scene from others enjoying the atmosphere. I have now been to French Press twice and both times were fabulous! This Parisian style cafe is an absolute beauty to look at. It's an aesthetic lovers paradise. Every detail of this place is near perfection. Not to mention, the coffee is equally as good. This time around, I went with the gingerbread latte and it was perfectly spiced. The latte art had my jaw dropped, HAHA! J went with his usual: chai tea latte, almond milk, add vanilla. He also was a fan (he's particular about his chai lattes). We dined in, which was so nice. We had the day off for the holidays and there's just something about dining in, sipping from a mug vs a to- go cup. We found ourselves just drooling at the baked goods. We grabbed a few to go. The cafe also has a little shop which is freakin adorable. Many gift options for children that have that euro vibe to match the rest of the shop. First time at the French Press a Paris-inspired cafe. When you step into the cafe you are welcomed with the aroma of coffee and pastries. I had wanted to come here since they opened. I finally made it here two weeks ago in a Sunday morning. It was everything my coffee shop/cafe dreams are made of! You walk up a brick path to the doors (on the side of the building) and step into such a beautiful space! We placed our order for baked goods and coffee. The baked goods were given to us then and they called us up when our coffees were ready. Every single detail was on point! The china and napkins have the cafes name on them. The silverware is incredible. The baked goods were plated and given to us on a silver tray. My friend and I split an almond croissant, a vanilla crème beignet and an apricot tart. This place is a solid 3.5, but I rounded up. Definitely a bougie place, Victorian decorating on the inside. It really gives a tea house vibe on the inside. The outdoor area provides for nice seating when hte weather is nice. Pricing is a bit more expensive than at other coffee shops. We both got refreshers on the nice day & they were decent. Have not tried a hot bev here yet. They also have baked goods which looked yummy. Staff was delightful & super nice. Seems like they pull a decent crowd filtering in and even setting up shop to work, gossip, chat. Inside is a lil cramped but still nice. Inside, they've done a great job at keeping the charm of the building. This place is stunning. They have ample pastry and drink options. Even on a fairly busy Saturday morning, they were stocked up on pastry's. My only complaint is that it's a bit small near the counter, so when it's busy, it can be a bit awkward moving around and forming a line. Also, the seasonal specials were on a small sign awkwardly placed by the register. Since I'd never been here before, I didn't even get a chance to look at it since the line wasn't forming that direction and by the time I got to the register, I didn't have the time to look it over. I personally got a caramel iced latte and a vanilla cream beignet and both were delicious. There's ample outdoor seating, which I definitely plan to come back and take use of. A favorite savory one I adore is their spinach feta croissant and warmed up it's comfort wrapped in pastry puff. This time I tried thier eggnog latte. I thought I'd ordered the chai version, but my brain skipped over chai and I ended up with coffee. I don't even like coffee and I loved every sip of this. When I went last it was snowing. The wife found this place on IG and since we were in the area we decided to take a stroll over. The cafe shares the building with Re/Max so you'll have to look for signs to the entrance of the cafe. The decoration of the cafe is old Victorian so if you like that look you'll love this cafe. The pastries are excellent and sell out fast. Luckily when we came here it was on a weekday so there was still a few selections of pastries left. The kids enjoyed the cream filled pastry. The pumpkins seasonal was pastry was definitely something worth getting. They don't have hot food selection so only expect pastries. The service was great, nothing to complain about there. I enjoyed my time here! My flat white was really smooth and delicious. The space was cute- a little on the tighter side but it's cozy. Definitely popular during the weekday morning with (I'm guessing) moms hanging out while their little ones are in preschool/school. A few young families also came in. So it's a pretty chatty space and given how close all the seats are, maybe not the best place if you need to focus on studying/work. The service was great, very friendly.
