i visited this shop several times while visiting family in NJ. i really liked how their espresso tasted very strong and defined, it tasted like real coffee! read more

Coffee was good and staff was friendly. I liked that there was plenty of seating inside and out. I do wish they had more of a bakery selection but the deli next door had some options too. You can grab a cub of coffee and then walk to The Shoppes at Medford Mill so it's a nice little pick-me-up. I'd love to see them put in some comfy seating for those that would like to read or just want to hang out for a bit but I guess their cold seating is a way of having you stay for one cup and then leave. read more

This place has everything. Great food, coffee, service, and atmosphere. The oatmeal is delicious. The chipotle bacon/egg avocado toast (photo) is ridiculous! Just don't go when I'm there cuz I don't like it too crowded. read more

The food is decent and the coffee is good, but I've now had a second "oat milk" latte with regular milk and after another afternoon dealing with the after effects of that, I'm done. Perhaps it is just a place for the lactose-tolerant. read more

This is a great not-so-little coffee shop in town. Having moved from the little itty bitty location down the street, this place seems massive. Lots of food options to enjoy with delicious coffee. It's a bit pricey but the ambiance is great. One thing is that they don't offer wifi, so you don't get the people hanging out with their laptops. I guess that's their plan. read more

Great coffee & scones; their baked foods are excellent! He had a strawberry-rhubarb draft latte, which was delightfully strong and will wake you up; and I had a toasted marshmallow latte with a strawberry scone. They have the formula of simplicity down to a tee. Always will have two coffee selections to choose from. Employees are always delightful when greeting and assisting. Coffee isn't anything to write home about but they have plenty of food options and baking options to make this place a sit down for breakfast or lunch with all the space. Best outdoor seating as the sun always knows how to hit which makes winter days less brutal. Cheapest price coffee in the area between the other 3 cafes, maybe it will go up soon. Overall and frequent visiting place for the community of Medford. read more

This place has everything. Great food, coffee, service, and atmosphere. They now have great organic coffee and great food too.

Go to in dietro instead! Harvest is Just ok, equivalent to a diner. The coffee, lattes, and breakfast sandwiches are all just ok. I don't understand the overall 4.5 stars here. The service is also not good. The barista repeatedly wiped her nose with the back of her hand and kept making coffee without washing. It's sad- total waste of this excellent location. read more

The absolute best coffee in the area. Forget your chain coffee shops, the coffee/espresso here is legit. The beans are roasted and ground perfectly, creating a wonderful beverage. The food is also fantastic. Best croissants I've had since visiting Europe- crispy, light, and fluffy. The breakfast sandwiches are also tasty. The staff is super nice and helpful. I will definitely be back!! read more

Stopped in for a cup of Joe and got the Maple Pancake Latte. Yesss.. it's very good! I would definitely recommend it! Service was great and they even recommended me this Latte. You can sit inside or outside. Inside is very spacious and has a good amount of seating. They even have a bar area to sit at. Outside is a nice deck area to sit at. I would recommend this place to anyone if your in the area. Oh and I almost forgot they have a good selection when it comes to food to. read more

I am a regular here and this place definitely has the best coffee drinks in the area. The baristas here are fairly consistent with their process hence guaranteeing a consistent taste. The service is pretty fast and there are plenty of tables. They also have a good selection of baked goods and breakfast sandwiches and items. They don't have wifi but who needs internet when you have great company of friends or books. The whole place has a very rustic feel with its exposed reclaimed wood beams and pillars. read more

The coffee shop itself is very nice - large, airy, handsome decor. No WiFi but that's doesn't bother me. During my first visit, the barista made my cappuccino perfectly - the right ratio of milk and foam. I was extremely happy because this is such a rare occurrence these days and I thought perhaps I had found my spot. Unfortunately there was not a repeat performance of perfection during my second visit. I ordered a cappuccino and the Medford breakfast sandwich. There was a different barista on duty during this visit and the cappuccino had far too much milk in it. So there's a lack of consistency and the perfection of the drink is dependent on the barista on duty when you visit - which is sooo disappointing. The ingredients in the breakfast sandwich were fresh but it was a bit pricey, bland, and the honey drizzle was nearly non-existent. And unfortunately the egg had several pieces of egg shell in it (YUCK). read more

The options are terrible, the coffee isn't good. The only nice thing is the way it looks. Lakes coffee is 1000x better in sense of service and quality read more

Food drinks and service are great. Would love to conduct more business meetings there but no wifi is extremely disappointing when I'm spending as much as I am for the food and drinks. It's a bad look, no wifi tells me you don't want customers lingering around which sucks. Hence the 1 star. I won't be back. read more

I ordered an everything bagel and cream cheese to go. When I arrived home and took out the bagel this is what Harvest thought was acceptable to give a paying customer who ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. How insulting to take someone's money and give them this! (Also the kitchen isn't supposed to close until 3-3:30pm. They were closing the kitchen around 1:30pm. Inconsistent and disrespectful to customers- 'short staffed' is nothing but an excuse- hire more people. Increase the staff budget.) Harvest- do better. read more

Awesome Coffee! So glad to have a place with a great cop of coffee in town and now they have food.

Okay, here are the pros and cons. Pros 1. Very nice people. Always cheery and helpful. 2. The food is good and tastes fresh. 3. There are outlets everywhere. You know how you sometimes have to search for that table near and outlet at a coffeeshop? You do not have to do that at this coffeeshop! 4. They also limit pets to service animals...mostly (I'll get back to that). 5. Nice atmosphere and nice area of town. Cons 1. Remember that thing about service animals only? Well that seems to be mostly true. Recently, someone brought in a dog that didn't appear to be a service dog. I say appear because it could have been an undercover service dog. However, the owner didn't seem to need it as they got up often and moved around the shop without the dog, leaving it sitting near one of the tables. 2. One of the workers petted the dog after bringing aa drink order to the customer. It's a normal human response, I get it. However, if you're preparing food, that's probably not a good thing. I didn't order anything else that day. Okay, will I return to the shop? Even with all of the pros, I'm not sure I will. I just don't think it's hygienic. I realize that may be minority view and that many restaurants allow pets inside. However, I was hoping this one was limited to service animals due to the sign on the door. And, I also don't think people really think about petting animals and then preparing food. I should point out that one of the gentlemen who delivered food from the kitchen seemed to take extra precautions not to come in contact with the dog, carefully reaching over the dog and keeping his own body at a distance. Thank you for that! I wish I had left a special tip for that person. I think he realized that it wouldn't be good to come in contact with the dog and them go right back in the kitchen to prepare food. I actually gave a $20 tip to a cook at a Waffle House once who went through an almost hospital/ surgical routine of handwashing before returning to the grill. Always encourage good behavior and good service! All of that being said, I would recommend the shop to anyone who doesn't have my hangups. The people are super nice. And, like I said, the food is really good. It's definitely worth a visit. read more

Hi! I am writing because I am an avid coffee drinker and love visiting Harvest for the coffee and ambiance, especially after work, on a quiet Sunday, or before a holiday. However, this past summer the hours seemed to change and make it more difficult to visit for nice cup of coffee or latte. I'm unsure why the hours changed and I'm sure it's not something that you wanted to do. I'm also not sure if anyone has stated their concern, but I am unable to make it to the cafe except for Saturday. I thought a cafe / coffeehouse was supposed to be a place to chill and hangout. How many customers can visit before 2 during the week except for senior citizens, stay at home parents, or freelance/ contract workers or maybe college students. It's extremely difficult- I also feel that you exclude a group of people who would probably come during the week but are unable to with these hours. Maybe this is just me thinking this and has no bearing on anything- if that's the case then disregard this. Also, I was wondering if it's possible to have a few days of the week open early and close at 2 and a few days open later and close later. just a suggestion. None the less, just wanted to share Thanks! read more

$12.80 for a 16oz coffee and a turkey sausage egg and cheese on the worst sour dough bread. Straight out of a plastic sleeve. So dry and tasteless. If you want to charge premium it should be excellent quality and something special. I don't mind paying if it's worth it. Sad. read more

Whoa. First time passing through Medford and would come back for this coffee alone. I usually do a Chemex brew at home, but decided to just do a simple drip here. You can absolutely tell Harvest Coffee Roastery not only knows how to roast a bean, but takes care in choosing the best selection to carry for their customers. And don't forget to grab a breakfast sandwich! Straightforward, filling, reasonably priced, and l with a little something special in the seasoning. The avocado with tajin was a nice little kick! read more

The shop is small but is full of warmth and friendliness. There are only about four small tables in the shop and can get filled up quickly but their are a few areas for sitting outside if the weather is nice. I ordered a black pour over and the almond croissant. Almond croissant was just okay, which is no fault of the cafe's as they get their pastries delivered. But i thorougly enjoyed my coffee. I believe the experience of any diner is partially attributable to the atmosphere and Harvest put extra thought into everything from even their mugs and plates. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area! read more

Hasn't been at this location in over a year apparently. We gave up looking and drove down the road and found the new location by accident. This place is a little secret. Right off of main street, so you can't see it from the street. It's such a quaint little coffee shop. You always feel very welcomed whenever you're inside. They have different coffee each day. Kenyan, Columbia, Brazilian, Puerto Rican etc. The best thing, and you have to ask for it, is their ice coffee ice cubes. Get iced coffee and ask for the coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes. This way, your drink will stay cold and won't be watered down. My favorite coffee out there. read more

The service is horrible here. Such a long wait. The food isn't good. It's one of the only coffee places in town so that's why the line is so long even though it sucks. The 3 workers in the back just stare at the customers as they twiddling their thumbs. read more

Hip yet laid-back and inviting, quiet yet surprisingly energizing, manly but at the same time homey... what sort of magic is this coffee shop!? In the heart of Medford, this cozy shop is nestled right off Main Street and boasts both indoor and outdoor seating for those looking to relax or perhaps even those hoping to get a few reviews written in the quiet of the morning while fresh brewing coffee massages your nostrils. They source their beans and roast them in house. The menu is simple, they have a bunch of different flavors from all around the world available for our drinking pleasure or you can get a simple Americano or an expertly made latte with a nice variety of flavors. If I lived in Jersey, this would be a weekend haunt or even a work nigh depending on their hours and if they have Wi-Fi. Sorry didn't catch that. On my visit here, I'm only sad I didn't get to linger longer and take to guy behind the counter more, I would have loved to have heard the history behind his cozy little establishment. Did I mention they have small town prices too.... if I had something like this where I lived, I would forsake Starbucks forever! read more

I like this place, but you lose two stars for not having WiFi. No Wi-Fi should drop you to one star, but I don't want to be mean.

Honestly, Harvest, you've ruined me. I can't go to any other coffee shop here in the Medford/Marlton area. None compare to your cozy atmosphere, your cheeky employees who are now first-name-basis friends with me, and your unparalleled coffee quality. Coffee is one of those things in life that is very local, and special to one area. Coming home to Harvest in NJ from college is kind of like coming home to my mom's rice, broccoli, and baked salmon......except better. Because it's coffee. Harvest roasts beans like your dog chews up his new toy: with passion, thoroughness, and determination. It's refreshing to see that their shelves are always stocked with freshly roasted batches, and moreover, sold at a REASONABLE PRICE. You basically get coffee snob quality coffee at less than a Starbucks price (honestly if you still go to Starbucks for your coffee, I'm giving you a stink face right now, and I'm not sorry). read more
