I've been meaning to visit this amazing business for quite a while! They have been open since…read more2001. However, I'm happy I finally made it. They exceeded my positive expectations by far. Very clean, great customer service and a nice variety of traditional coffees, and traditional Vietnamese blends. Very good food menu that offers you the variety of light to filling sandwiches. I ordered the fried chicken Banh Mi sandwich. This is one of their best sellers. Everything was very fresh, from the bread to the chicken. Amazing balance of traditional flavours. I also ordered the Salted Brûlée Cà Phẽ coffee. Very traditional coffee. Their take on cà phê muối - Vietnamese salted coffee! Strong and balanced. Coffee is topped w/ a salted cream cold foam and torched brown sugar. Only served iced. Absolutely delicious! I'm looking forward to coming back here more regularly. It's a beautiful space to catch up on work, or to just enjoy the nice environment they have while enjoying the lovely food and drink options.

Service was horrible. 1/10 rating! Came with a group of 12 people and we saw the store was busy so we placed about 4-5 online orders. All mostly drinks. Online said it would take an hour which we were kinda shocked but decided okay. We ended up leaving for a bit to pass time until pick up time around 12:50/1pm. Everyone's orders should've been ready when we got there around 1pm ish but nope. The smallest orders consisting of 2 drinks and a simple cha lua sandwich were no where to be seen. Employees were not caring that we basically ended up waiting 2 hours for a drink and a sandwich, because most of us didn't get our drinks and 2 sandwiches until close to 2pm. Employees were ignoring us but saw that we had arrived to pick up our online orders. Our tickets were still on the wall of orders way past pick up time. When they saw we came to pick up the rushed and said in Vietnamese "hurry up they're here to pick up!" They thought we didn't speak Vietnamese, but we understood everything. Some workers were just playing around taking selfies and not in any rush to give us our orders. One of our orders was made so early that when we picked up the ice melted making us spill everywhere and the tamarind fries were basically lukewarm. On a bright side, we did enjoy the drinks (when it was made on time) and the food wasn't bad. Would I visit again? I don't know honestly, the service was too off putting.

First time here and was very happy with my experience :)…read more Can't think of the last time I got an iced latte that was served PROPER with some foam! A delightful surprise that goes to show the quality of craftsmanship and knowledge that goes into the drinks here at Covered Bridge. I can't admit I'm any sort of coffee snob, I don't drink it black or hot, but as much as I enjoy my insanely sweet lattes, this reminded me of why I drink coffee in the first place. The flavor is robust and deep even through the creaminess of the milk, and the sweetness is subtler than I'm used to. All around a flavorful and satisfyingly smooth latte that actually tastes LIKE COFFEE!! Service was excellent and fast! The young woman working today was so friendly and helpful and seemed prepared to help with advice or knowledge if needed. The in-store space is quaint and comfortable, and on every wall is a selection of goods, repurposed coffee bean bags, snacks, beans, merch, etc.

However, the coffee is just not great. I used reviews to find this place and thought finally a great cup of coffee. My husband got the regular drip coffee and it taste like water with the essence of coffee. I got the chai latte with espresso and although not great it was substantially better than the drip. I would definitely give this place another shot if I lived closer.

They had seasonal flavors like blueberry cold brew and banana flambé lattes. Very cool! They also offer some food options such as bacon, and bagels with spreads. The coffee spot is next to some cute seating and is definitely a good spot to sit and chill while you sip. I ordered the iced Blonde Hawaiian with oat milk and my mom had the hot s'mores latte. She also ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The Blonde Hawaiian was delicious! The toffee nut with the coconut and vanilla was sweet and yummy. My mom's s'mores latte was good, but she did say it was a tad too sweet for her liking so if you're not into sweets maybe ask for less syrup. Bonus points to Rise N Grind though because I watched the barista use a mini torch to roast a marshmallow for my mom's drink. It was adorable and such a nice touch! She really liked the bagel and said that they were very generous with the cream cheese spread as well. All in all, I definitely recommend Rise N Grind, and I look forward to coming back to try the banana flambé coffee!
