You know when people talk about vibes? Revive café is most definitely a vibe. I stopped by on Saturday to try out the new-ish spot. Almost perfectly placed on the corner with room for outside seating. The inside is chill, chairs to sit, large windows to feel outside/inside, spot on decor, welcoming from the staff to the owners to even the customers. Had a chance to meet the owners who are married and run a church in Philly. Told me about the books they have available if you're bookless that day and working towards having open mic nights. I'm like "yasssss." Okay the actual cafe: variety, variety, variety. Empanadas or a matcha smoothie? They have a lil bit of everything and I appreciate that. Also a huge shout out to the coolest barista there, Brittney. Had my order poppin and customer service was everything. I'll most definitely be back.

Saw them advertising empanadas and ran in to grab one for my husband, they were so good! Next time I will get 3 instead of 1! Staff was sweet and gave a piece of ice cream cake on the house. They do decaf drinks too, and my decaf americano was spot on. Lots of yummy pastries in the case and mini key lime and lemon cream pies too. Lunch options looked great. Can't wait to come back!

Try 30% more please revive. Want to support local so bad. No open Sunday, and after 9am sat? Coffee shop, really?

Great spot in Tacony to hit up for breakfast, lunch and baked goods. I found parking along…read moreTorresdale Ave and walked in to Christmas music and decorations. Between the music and the staff I felt very welcome. I'll start with my appreciation for the gentleman behind the counter who graciously and patiently answered all my questions ..... like what is a Mallorca (sweet fluffy bread that reminded me of a sticky bun and a danish put together), a Quesito, (flaky, golden puff pastry filled with sweetened cream cheese and usually glazed on the outside) and Pastelillos de Guayaba (made from guava, flaky, fruity and sweet with powdered sugar). It was neat to learn about some Puerto Rican sweets I was unfamiliar with. I was given a Dulce de Leche donut warmed up (as a reward I suppose), for my interest in the baked goods. That donut lasted a couple of seconds as it melted in my mouth. I grabbed a Mallorca with guava to go and a ready made sampler with 25 pieces of half mini Pastelillos de Guayaba and Questios for $30. The guys at work enjoyed them very much. The Quesitos were my favorite, the combo of the pastry flavor with the sweet cream cheese was delicious. Their breakfast offerings come on their fresh baked bread. I had a sausage, egg and cheese with hot sauce. It was around $10 and a skip lunch sized portion. I would repeat. Check out the menu I posted for more of their offerings. Everything in their cases looked good: cookies, donuts, cake pops, cake slices, tarts, turnovers etc. They also have an area called Toasty's Cafe with juices (mango, pineapple, passion fruit), coffee, over a half dozen different teas, etc. I'll definitely be returning to try more items and a Cubano sandwich on that fresh bread is calling me for a lunch visit. I really appreciate people who wake up early and have the drive to be patient and caring to their customers. I'm not sure of the name of the gentleman who helped me, but thanks for the education and great recommendations! Thanks guys and see you soon!

I live in the northeast and traveled down to north philly for pan sobao (sweet bread) once a week…read more I did a google search and found this amazing spot. There bread is so good that I went threw one pound in less then a day. I called almost at closing today 4/11/26 and they waited for me to pick up my bread. Also the pastelillos are amazing. When you bite into it, its not full of air. Stuffed with meat and taste amazing. Will be returning every week for sure.
