Lovely place to get brunch, with lots of great, unique menu items that are worth the cost. The interior seating is a little cramped but the ambience is excellent, especially on warm days when one can sit outside. The food is top-notch - I've loved every coffee and entree I've gotten here. It's worth bringing a friend or family member to grab some brunch here, milkweed epitomizes brunch in the local area. I've gone multiple times and each time, I'm looking forward to the next trip! As a heads-up, it is located in downtown Pitman, so keep parking in mind when planning your trip.

Such an aesthetically pleasing surprise! The interior has the cutest feminine flare, perfect for a girls brunch. The food was amazing, as well. We started with the crème brûlée donut-heaven sent. Would return for this donut alone. We tried the Iced Kylee drink and whipped fig ricotta crostini, as well. Both were delicious. The location in downtown Pitman is so cute and outdoor seating is always a plus. Service was quick and we got in easily with no reservation on a Saturday morning. Definitely will be back!

My sister and I had lunch here Friday 5.23.25. We both had the Fried Chicken Bánh mì with parm fries. Our server was Kat (or Cat?). She was very friendly and efficient. Interior is adorable. Food was delicious. I was honestly concerned about food quality because of some reviews I have seen. It being a very insta worthy interior it could be a style over substance situation. It couldn't have been farther from that. This fried chicken was the best I have had in a while. It had a thick very well seasoned crust and the interior was beyond moist. I was truly impressed. Fries were good too. I ordered the mixed berry lemonade flight. Cutsie flights are not my thing but I was too curious. They didn't taste like lemonade with add ons to me. They tasted like sugary berry shots. They looked good though. I won't do a repeat of anything like that. I was in the mood for lemonade. I would definitely return.

4.5 Loved this place from the start. The have outdoor seating in the front, garden seating in the back and even rooftop seating. Such a cute open friendly atmosphere. The menu looked so interesting and unique. Due to the holiday I got the milkweed breakfast eggs any style, I picked scrambled with bacon and their truffle potatoes with a side of fruit. I asked for some hot sauce on the side. I enjoyed everything. My friend got the pulled pork with prosciutto, mozzarella and basil. For those who like coffee they have coffee flights. Service was good, attentive for the most part considering how busy they were on a Saturday morning. I am looking forward to going again and trying so many different interesting items.

I've been here twice and both experiences have been very good! Upon arrival, the staff tells you to sit where you would like. Menus are on the table in the form of a QR code. There is a lot of choices for beverages and food to choose from. Portion sizes are great; I usually have left overs. They do seasonal coffee drinks as well as signature drinks. Staff is always super nice, attentive & kind.

This was such a wonderful experience! I was worried it might be one of those trendy brunch spots where the aesthetic matters more than the food, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Salmon Benedict and it was phenomenal. Our waitress was not only attentive but also genuinely funny, and made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant. I really appreciate it when a server takes the time to build rapport and truly cares about the guests. Having worked in the service industry myself, I know how draining the job can be, so I really respect and appreciate servers who are able to maintain much positivity and energy. This spot has officially landed in my top 5 brunch places. If I lived closer, I'd be a frequent flyer, but it will absolutely remain my go to whenever I'm in South Jersey!!! Can't recommend enough!!

I wanted to love it. Cash only is just annoying, nbd. The food was absolutely fresh. However $18 for a veggie omelette +$2 for cheese is just outrageous. The plain grits were fine but again a bit over priced. The lattes on their menu are impressive! I think they have a very fun ambiance and very cute plates/table set up. All of the food needed seasoning. Overall the brunch was fine but nearly $100 for 3 people.

We came in around 10am on a Saturday to celebrate my wife's birthday. it wasn't as busy as I would think but presume we got here early enough. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Because we were early, we were able to sit ourselves which was nice as we ended up switching tables 3 time lol. The coffee/espresso options are great. I had a Skinny Latte and "The Boss". I didn't order any food but my wife ordered a short rib cheddar omelet and truffle Parmesan potatoes which she said was fresh and yummy. Did not need any condiments she noted. We also ordered the Nutella Doughnut bites which were the perfect small treat. Only deduction of the star was due to it being cash only which is a small inconvenience but all in all a good experience.

Love Milkweed! So cute and cozy inside. Staff is always sweet & service is always perfectly paced. Their coffees aren't my favorite, but they're good!

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

They have a bar and dj which seemed to draw in a nice mixed crowd. They made me a mocktail because I don't drink and it was yummy. The chicken parm was also good. The bad: both appetizers I ordered were disgustingly underwhelming. The cheesesteak fries were just bland and flavorless piled high with dry meat and cold cheese ... a waste of calories and money. The chicken tenders were flavored horribly and paired with a weird sauce. Im guessing if you're drunk you won't notice the terrible food. The waiter was nice but not attentive, he didn't notice I didn't eat anything and he didn't offer to replace or remove the items from the bill. I would suggest they limit the menu to less items that they can prepare well. If you enjoy drinks and bar food give it a try. Me Ill just stick with Lascalas across the street.

Do you know that feeling when you start anticipating an experience before you get there?…read more Well this morning I was imagining a crusty chewy onion bagel with veggie cream cheese that provided a perfect flavor match perhaps with some veggie snap amidst the velvety cream cheese. Mmmm couldn't wait Well my dreams fell flat ... totally ... First no onion bagels so I ordered a poppy seed. Second it was the most abysmal looking poppy seed bagel almost absent of poppyseeds. I am looking at my uneaten half and counting seeds ... 1, 2,3 ... NINETEEN totals poppy seeds on half the bagel. Third, the bagel's surface was let's say "flexible" to the touch. Yea ... no bagel crunch to the bite almost soft but still bagelish chewy. But, I did order a poppyseed bagel, right? Fourth, that "veggie cream cheese" had a rather unique taste with absolutely no crisp veggies in the mix just a collection of veggies colorful specks that hinted at the original source. Do they use dehydrated veggies dust to create their Veggie Cream Cheese? Truly a mystery and about a quarter of my bagel ended up in the trash. Don't sit near the door on a cold day because you will sense the outdoors. I will take the blame for this one since I chose my table but I needed the space. The coffee was good ... service friendly and prompt ... and they were busy, which means people not resembling me like their "bagels." So two stars for what I was missing. I do know there are other locations nearby so in the future if I want a "real" bagel or a poppyseed bagel with poppyseeds and veggie cream cheese that tastes ... well I know where I won't go.
