The Gentle Giant Cafe is STILL our favorite Vegan eatery. We love being welcomed with so much love! My wife and I both got the Breakfast Sammie: plain bagel, american cheese, sausage, tofu egg, and a crispy delicious hash brown. As always, we ate EVERY. SINGLE. CRUMB! I love my annual birthday breakfast spot for the THIRD year in a row!! 5as always!!!

When looking for this restaurant they have not removed the old restaurant name on the outside. I called to ask where they were located. I am glad I called, I would of missed out on the beyond pizza burger with mozzarella cheese, strawberry cupcake, and chocolate chips cookie. They have a board with their specials of the day. Everything was Delicious. The customer service was awesome. The ladies were very helpful.

    Brownie! Epic!

The Gentle Giant is a special place whether you are vegan or not. Amazing food, lovingly made and served by a kind staff. They also cater so if you're having a gathering and need something just for your veg guests they can do that. Their hours are short but if you order the day before they will accommodate earlier or later takeout. Great breakfast, lunch and amazing sweet treats!

    Watermelon Gazpacho - yum!

The watermelon gazpacho was wonderful, and the vegan burger was delish, too. Great to have a 100% vegan restaurant in Gloucester County! My hubby and I aren't vegan, but we do appreciate good vegan food, especially when we want something a little different. Friendly and helpful service, good quality eats, reasonable prices. Plus they have coloring books for kids and adults, some art for sale with proceeds benefitting a local animal rescue organization, and good views of the street if you like people watching.

The outside seating area is very cute, and who doesn't love to sit outside? But the inside is perfect! Absolutely a vibe! Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Even realizing on their own that the air was blowing directly on us and taking it upon themselves to change the flow and make sure we were comfortable. Everything coordinates in a modern, farmhouse flair, down to the silverware and cloth napkins. Love the dish ware as well! I was the only one to have a beverage. I got a peach iced chai tea and it was sweet, but delicious. Perfect for a warm day! We then had breakfast, two blueberry pancakes that were so thick, they looked like a layer cake. They were topped with fresh blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon icing. Very good! My daughter had the peach, crème brûlée French toast. If you have a sweet tooth, you must try it! It was absurdly good! Soft. With a crispy creme brûlée crust. We also shared an order of potatoes that I'm unsure if they were actually made in house. But. They were very tasty all the same. As anticipated, this isn't priced at a diner budget. Our meal was $55 without tip. Just for 2 items, 1 side, and 1 drink. A little much. But the food was fresh and very tasty, the service was awesome, and the ambiance was on point. Will definitely return soon!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere stood out right away. It's warm, inviting, and has that perfect balance of cozy and thoughtfully curated. You can tell a lot of intention went into creating the space--it just feels good to be there. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can tell this isn't just thrown together--it's food made with care. What really made the experience, though, was the service. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a huge difference. Overall, this place exceeded expectations in every category--food, service, and atmosphere. We will 100% be back and would absolutely recommend giving it a try. Definitely deserves a higher rating than what it currently has.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

They have a bar and dj which seemed to draw in a nice mixed crowd. They made me a mocktail because I don't drink and it was yummy. The chicken parm was also good. The bad: both appetizers I ordered were disgustingly underwhelming. The cheesesteak fries were just bland and flavorless piled high with dry meat and cold cheese ... a waste of calories and money. The chicken tenders were flavored horribly and paired with a weird sauce. Im guessing if you're drunk you won't notice the terrible food. The waiter was nice but not attentive, he didn't notice I didn't eat anything and he didn't offer to replace or remove the items from the bill. I would suggest they limit the menu to less items that they can prepare well. If you enjoy drinks and bar food give it a try. Me Ill just stick with Lascalas across the street.

They always seem to have live music, karaoke etc. which is nice, but it's also probably too loud for a lot of people. There's pretty limited seating that is away from the loud music. Do you know that feeling when you start anticipating an experience before you get there?…read more Well this morning I was imagining a crusty chewy onion bagel with veggie cream cheese that provided a perfect flavor match perhaps with some veggie snap amidst the velvety cream cheese. Mmmm couldn't wait Well my dreams fell flat ... totally ... First no onion bagels so I ordered a poppy seed. Second it was the most abysmal looking poppy seed bagel almost absent of poppyseeds. I am looking at my uneaten half and counting seeds ... 1, 2,3 ... NINETEEN totals poppy seeds on half the bagel. Third, the bagel's surface was let's say "flexible" to the touch. Yea ... no bagel crunch to the bite almost soft but still bagelish chewy. But, I did order a poppyseed bagel, right? Fourth, that "veggie cream cheese" had a rather unique taste with absolutely no crisp veggies in the mix just a collection of veggies colorful specks that hinted at the original source. Do they use dehydrated veggies dust to create their Veggie Cream Cheese? Truly a mystery and about a quarter of my bagel ended up in the trash. Don't sit near the door on a cold day because you will sense the outdoors. I will take the blame for this one since I chose my table but I needed the space. The coffee was good ... service friendly and prompt ... and they were busy, which means people not resembling me like their "bagels." So two stars for what I was missing. I do know there are other locations nearby so in the future if I want a "real" bagel or a poppyseed bagel with poppyseeds and veggie cream cheese that tastes ... well I know where I won't go.
