recently hosted my 30th birthday party here and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff especially Cindy made us feel right at home. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that every guest was well taken care of and our wine was opened and stocked. The food was amazing! We had a variety of Strombolis, salads, flat breads, cheeses and meats. We had a huge dessert cannoli tray too. Everyone couldn't stop raving about the delicious dishes. It was the perfect size for our 65 person party! Highly recommend!

    Roast Beef Panini

My husband and I both ordered the roast beef panini. It was delicious! The meat was so tender. If you like honey mustard you will love it. So full of flavor! It's really not expensive at all as the sandwiches are so plentiful we have enough for lunch tomorrow.

Super spacious and clean and ample seating

Went to Lucia's Bistro for the second time and I have to say, the place is my new favorite spot! It's clean, vibrant, well thought out and well spaced inside. Everything down to having USB chargers in the wall so you can charge your phone while you eat. Staff is super friendly. Let's start with the Lattes.. I got a quad shot iced mocha that wasn't too sweet and the espresso flavor was bold and yummy. My girlfriend got the Nutella hot chocolate with two shots of espresso added and it was divine. We split a breakfast sandwich with cooper sharp, turkey sausage and broccoli rabe on brioche. Got the mozzarella waffle fries with the sammie and did a take out cornetto stuffed with Nutella and a a bomboloni stuffed with cannoli and chocolate chip filling. I never rate this high but it's a definite high 4 for me.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere stood out right away. It's warm, inviting, and has that perfect balance of cozy and thoughtfully curated. You can tell a lot of intention went into creating the space--it just feels good to be there. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can tell this isn't just thrown together--it's food made with care. What really made the experience, though, was the service. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a huge difference. Overall, this place exceeded expectations in every category--food, service, and atmosphere. We will 100% be back and would absolutely recommend giving it a try. Definitely deserves a higher rating than what it currently has.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

They have a bar and dj which seemed to draw in a nice mixed crowd. They made me a mocktail because I don't drink and it was yummy. The chicken parm was also good. The bad: both appetizers I ordered were disgustingly underwhelming. The cheesesteak fries were just bland and flavorless piled high with dry meat and cold cheese ... a waste of calories and money. The chicken tenders were flavored horribly and paired with a weird sauce. Im guessing if you're drunk you won't notice the terrible food. The waiter was nice but not attentive, he didn't notice I didn't eat anything and he didn't offer to replace or remove the items from the bill. I would suggest they limit the menu to less items that they can prepare well. If you enjoy drinks and bar food give it a try. Me Ill just stick with Lascalas across the street.

The waitress was very nonchalant about everything. I never saw her once check to see if the drinks were ready or to ask the bartenders about the drinks. The bartenders were standing there and talking to each other. Finally, the drinks arrived, and then the food came.. also horrible. The flank steak fajitas were bland with no seasoning and did not come with any salsa, sour cream, or guacamole. Nothing but plain white rice and a small cup of what I think were refried beans. My husband's cheeseburger was fair, but the roll was stale. We couldn't wait to get out of there. I will say the music that night was pretty good. The band was called Bug Brothers duo.. the only thing I'd recommend about this place.

Do you know that feeling when you start anticipating an experience before you get there?…read more Well this morning I was imagining a crusty chewy onion bagel with veggie cream cheese that provided a perfect flavor match perhaps with some veggie snap amidst the velvety cream cheese. Mmmm couldn't wait Well my dreams fell flat ... totally ... First no onion bagels so I ordered a poppy seed. Second it was the most abysmal looking poppy seed bagel almost absent of poppyseeds. I am looking at my uneaten half and counting seeds ... 1, 2,3 ... NINETEEN totals poppy seeds on half the bagel. Third, the bagel's surface was let's say "flexible" to the touch. Yea ... no bagel crunch to the bite almost soft but still bagelish chewy. But, I did order a poppyseed bagel, right? Fourth, that "veggie cream cheese" had a rather unique taste with absolutely no crisp veggies in the mix just a collection of veggies colorful specks that hinted at the original source. Do they use dehydrated veggies dust to create their Veggie Cream Cheese? Truly a mystery and about a quarter of my bagel ended up in the trash. Don't sit near the door on a cold day because you will sense the outdoors. I will take the blame for this one since I chose my table but I needed the space. The coffee was good ... service friendly and prompt ... and they were busy, which means people not resembling me like their "bagels." So two stars for what I was missing. I do know there are other locations nearby so in the future if I want a "real" bagel or a poppyseed bagel with poppyseeds and veggie cream cheese that tastes ... well I know where I won't go.
