Went to Lucia's Bistro for the second time and I have to say, the place is my new favorite spot! It's clean, vibrant, well thought out and well spaced inside. Everything down to having USB chargers in the wall so you can charge your phone while you eat. Staff is super friendly. Let's start with the Lattes.. I got a quad shot iced mocha that wasn't too sweet and the espresso flavor was bold and yummy. My girlfriend got the Nutella hot chocolate with two shots of espresso added and it was divine. We split a breakfast sandwich with cooper sharp, turkey sausage and broccoli rabe on brioche. Got the mozzarella waffle fries with the sammie and did a take out cornetto stuffed with Nutella and a a bomboloni stuffed with cannoli and chocolate chip filling. I never rate this high but it's a definite high 4 for me. read more

The wood tables and decor are really neat! The food in this place is delicious! The paninis come on a nice crunchy roll. Homemade Italian wedding soup was very good and satisfying on a damp evening. The soup bowl is quite large and filling! Spinach flatbread was baked to perfection! We finished our meals off with gelato and cannolis and coffee. Check out Luccia's next time you're in Pitman. My family went here for breakfast on May 12. A fun surprise to us was that they were not even open yet and we're preparing for their soft opening event they were having later that day. My sister had just graduated from Rowan and we had literally nowhere to go to eat because every place was packed and there were a lot of things going on that was out of our control. We walked in with a party of 12 and they quickly greeted us and was very friendly. They sat us down and gave us menus. Once the waitress came over she told us that they weren't technically open so our food might take longer. We were really surprised that they still let us dine at their establishment. They made us feel like family and welcomed us with open arms and accommodated us. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the service was great. Cindy was such a great waitress and very nice and attentive. The decor, atmosphere, and vibe are lovely. Definitely check this place out, easily one of the best places in Pitman, NJ. Lucia's Bistro is a small family owned business and local to the area. This place is also BYOB. The food is delicious so I definitely recommend this place to anyone near the area. Made reservations for Mother's Day at 11am. We were provided with a full menu that included both breakfast and lunch items. When the waitress came to take our order (after we had time to make our choices) we were told that they were not serving any lunch items. I'm confused as to why they would give a multi-page menu and then tell you that 75% of it isn't available. There is no indication of breakfast/lunch serving times posted on the website nor was it mentioned when making the reservations. The breakfast menu is very generic and limited, so needless to say this was a very disappointing Mother's day "brunch". read more

This place honestly was amazing overall! From the second we walked in my family and I felt very welcomed. Customer service overall was top notch! I had an omelette, we also had a pancake, flatbread margarita, and some other stuff my wife ordered. Pancake was very fluffy and cooked to perfection, my omelette was definitely delicious and filling with a fresh croissant, the pizza barely lasted, and I didn't even get to see the other food because it was gone! The coffee and drinks were ordered a second time so we can have on the go. The place was very clean and without a doubt worth every penny. The food is ok with large portions. The service is not. There was literally no one in the restauarnt both times we went. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Food takes a LONG time even though they were completely empty. Service is just not good. They were not short staffed as they had plenty of people just leaning on the counter. Spinach and Cheese egg rolls were just spinach with cold cheese pieces on top. I am not even kidding. I am not sure how this place stays open. They need to have someone managing the restauarant. this place has so much potential. the food was good, cute decor, and the waitress was super kind. the only drawback was they were understaffed so getting our food took a little while. but let me tell you our waitress was hustling all by herself to seat, serve and clean up after every customer. plus, tend to customers walking in and ordering takeout. I have been to Lucia's multiple times and this last experience has left me with such a sour taste. I hate to say anything negative about a local business, but this is not the first time it's happened here. I went to brunch with 4 adults and 1 child, we arrived at 9:30. They messed up 2 of the 4 orders For a simple breakfast sandwich. Never even Brought out the second person's missing pork roll for a PREC Sandwich. We did not get out food until 10:47. They brought out the child's breakfast last and it wasn't fully cooked. There was never an apology from our waitress or anything. For the insane price of the food, the huge delay in service, and the fact that no one was in the restaurant besides us- I expected a way better Experience.
