    Chicken & waffles

Chicken and waffles, topped with maple bacon! I'll always opt for the sweet and savory so I HAD to try the chicken and waffles with honey/maple syrup (*You can also opt for the peach preserves instead of the honey/maple syrup). What makes this cool, aside from the food?!: This place is awesome! While you eat, you can see airplanes and helicopters land. Per the pics, you can see the inside of the restaurant has pieces of actual airplanes as decor and history of a variety of airplanes. Who doesn't love a cool mom and pop?! Don't limit yourself to brunch, check them out for dinner too. Parking: The Apron Cafe is off the beaten path but worth a little trip. The Apron Cafe has a small parking lot but also offers "street" parking. By "street", I mean that you can park on the road it's located on. Fear not, no dings or dents will affect your car. This ain't a busy road by any means. You know what to do! Check 'em out!

Good environment and staff, this is a small airport with friendly people. Breakfast is always great!

Food and service were great but minus one star for everyone's food being luke-warm. Not a hot meal on the table but not cold enough to send back. Also selling a slice of scrapple that was so thin you could have cut it off a larger piece with a razor blade is pretty crazy. I'll give it a strong second chance eventually. A buddy of mine from out of town thoroughly enjoyed the view of the airplanes!

Hundreds of Millions and tens of thousands of people have been begging me constantly to review this place, so now it's time. To everyone begging me, thank you, and you're welcome. 1 small complaint, if you search on yelp for "diner" or even "airport diner" in hammonton NJ, it wont show up. Did a minute of research and found it though... so buckle up! I was a bit slow then, as I am now if you know what i mean so bear with me...I got some food with some friends and definitely enjoyed it. I do remember the owner knowing one person in our party, but I honestly feel like she's genuinely a good business owner. She didnt pretend to be happy just because some knew her, she seemed honestly happy to have people there and serving them her food. The crew I was with did mention not much was hot. They're not liars so that should be worked on especially if you're serve items that are supposed to be hot. Like coffee. Like Hot breakfast food. I'm being brutally honest (as always) but also know this is an unclaimed business so i doubt the owner will have mental agony over someone calling their coffee not-the-hottest or needs work. I loved the place, and I had their coffee and liked it. but still..temp of some foods should have been hotter. Lets just sum it up and say temperature is a thing that exists. That said, The bagel dunker was incredible. I didn't want to order one but i was fat, felt fat, still am fat, so I ordered a bagel on top of a full breakfast. It dunked incredibly well and I'd get one again without hesitation. Well sliced, well toasted (like a medium which is what i like) and had (2) single serve cups of philadelphia cream cheese. The best dunking combo. I know NJ and PA people usually are enemies but the PA (philly) cream cheese rocked. Perfect for dunking. I ordered the breakfast bowl which was exactly what my brain and body needed to survive the rest of the day. Portioned and priced correctly. I can't say the team was wrong, it wasnt piping hot, but I'm not complaining about it because I loved it. It tasted delicious, but it needed a dash of hot sauce as all meals do in my opinion, but im a hot sauce kinda guy. Next time I stumble to this place I'm gonna get it again whether I'm hungry or not as well as a bagel dunker just for fun...just like this time. The scenery was also awesome. My friend Scott P. LOVED watching a cessna skyhawk C172 do touch and goes and low approaches. He said it was worth the trip just to watch it while he ate his food! But he loves airplanes more than I do. I did enjoy being so close to the tarmac and taxiways. Scott even taught me a thing or two about what the taxiway signs meant and other airplane terms. I learned the number 9 is pronounced niner! neat! Overall, Next time I'm in NJ, if it's not too far of a drive I'd love to visit this place again. Amazing food, amazing staff and scenery, amazing dunkers. Cant wait to be back. 5 stars

Love this cafe! Would have never known it existed if we didn't find it on yelp since it's not on a main road, but the place was packed when we showed up! It's situated right at the Hammonton municipal airport and you can see planes landing and taking off. The big windows and the location provided the perfect ambiance. The food selection included breakfast and lunch options, we opted for breakfast. I got the eggs Benedict and my fiancé got a pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel both with a side of home fries. Food was great and the atmosphere was awesome, will definitely be coming back!

    Mostly windows, bright and airy.

Clean, the food is plentiful, the staff are very nice. I went for breakfast, they also serve lunch. They are open until 2pm on every day except Mondays, when they are closed. People fly in and just stop for a leisurely bite. When we were there, we did not run into many locals, probably because it is tucked away amongst the blueberry fields off Colombia road on 206, but it is worth a trip. Be prepared to be quite full and they do have daily specials. Orders cam be called in and picked up.

If you're driving down the White Horse Pike and looking for that quintessential Jersey "shimmer,"…read morethe Silver Coin Diner is a must-stop. I dropped in this past Sunday around 10:30 PM during the late night rush. Despite the crowd, the large, free parking lot made arriving easy, though it was fairly packed for a Sunday. This place is a dream for fans of Americana. It's a classic Kullman-style diner, manufactured right here in New Jersey, and it still features that iconic "Space Age" stainless steel exterior and neon lighting that makes your imagination run wild. It' s been family-owned since 1982, and you can feel that local pride the second you walk in. The interior is sparkling clean and manages to feel retro without being dated. Our server, Nicole, was an absolute rockstar. Even with a 10-minute wait for a booth, she had our orders delivered immediately and kept the refills coming throughout the meal. The menu is massive, but here are the standouts: Waffle Sundae ($13.48): This is the ultimate breakfast-meets-dessert move. It comes topped with massive scoops of ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and a cherry. It's definitely big enough to share (or not--no judgment here). Jersey Benedict ($11.98): A local essential with perfectly grilled pork roll and hollandaise. The "Silver Coin Special" ($8.48): A clever nod to the Hammonton area code, this gives you the best of everything (pancakes, eggs, and three types of meat) for a great price. Pro-Tips Healthy Options: They actually have a "Bro-tein" Omelet and a solid Vegetarian Omelet ($10.98) packed with fresh veggies if you aren't in the mood for a sugar rush from the waffle. Timing: Weekends are the busiest time, so if you're in a rush, aim for the counter seating to bypass the booth wait. Overall you're getting massive portions and friendly, "treat you like family" service at a fair price (about $35 for two including tip). The only reason it's not a 5 is that it gets loud when it's full, but that's just part of the authentic Jersey diner energy. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm heading toward Atlantic City!

Proceeded to leave and after 10 minutes we asked another waitress if she had seen our waitress who's response was "Oh, I don't know, probably waiting on the other 100 people before you." Snarled, and walked away.

I really don't know what to say or even think about this place and the experience we had here recently. I will report the facts based solely on what happened at Rodio's, when we went there for the first time on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The rest is up to you! The owner/operator: the backbone of the business and reason we will go back a second time; cook/server/entertainer - all in one; a bit eccentric but extremely kind and personable - you're going to love her! A great big smile, sociable, and hospitable. Walk in the front door - boom, the counter is right there. There was another room off to the side but we never made it there because there were two stools available at the counter so we sat, looked around, and waited - we weren't sure what would happen next! It was busy and more people came in - we learned there were guests eating in that other room, so clearly the available seating is not just at the counter. Menu: no, you don't get one. Read the wall to see what's being offered to you. Prices: no clue - they aren't listed anywhere. While we were there, everyone was charged $15.00 per meal. I don't know what they ordered or got to drink. We had a breakfast platter and a coffee. You guessed it: $15.00. Ambiance: you are literally walking into someone's home and having a meal with them in their house. Cozy and friendly. Not for everyone, I suppose. Oh, sorry, I am trying not to editorialize! Dishes: paper plates, paper cups, plasticware. What! Toast: your meal comes with toast - okay! Guess what? You are getting 3 half-pieces of toast. Huh??? What even is that? LOL Eggs: you cannot get over-easy eggs. They will be cooked over-medium at the minimum. Go ahead, ask for over-easy... Food: FABULOUS! We had 2 eggs, scrapple cubes, breakfast potatoes, and toast. Everything was so good, seasoned well, and hot and fresh. The owner/operator/cook nailed it! She seems to excel at making fresh fruit pancakes and is known for her French toast. She gave us a small sample while we were waiting. It was good! So in conclusion: yes, you need to go here to see what's going on and yes, we will be back for another visit as soon as possible!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.
