Had a very nice breakfast here. It's a family owned and operated spot with friendly service and really solid food. The restaurant itself is bright, airy and clean. It has the small town feel without feeling old and dingy. Went with the cheesesteak omelette which came out fast. The breakfast potatoes were really solid as well. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of their Mexican offerings. Great spot!
The best tacos flautas i had in a while . Very friendly service with a comfortable inside and out sitting .
I need to go back here because I was definitely short on time due to a court hearing. This place is right down the road from the courthouse so very convenient. The staff/owners?!? were very friendly and helpful. Cute place. Clean. The bathroom location is odd. The menu is a little big for the size of the cafe. I didn't have a lot of time so just ordered a ham, egg and cheese croissant. It was the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious. I would love to come back to the area and try other items.
Stopped by this place while starving and on the way home from Virginia. I had a craving for some Latin fare, and Yelp helped me out as usual. I arrived and found parking on the street. Yay. Walked in and saw a nice, quaint establishment that was bright with friendly employees. All great signs. I asked to see a menu. I immediately saw two of my favorite things, empanadas and pernil. I opted for both. They only had 1 beef empanada left, so I grabbed it along with a chicken empanada + the pernil platter. To my surprise, the food was ready in about 10 mins. I left the restaurant and made my way home. I tried the beef empanada first, it was decent. I was looking for a little more flavor from the beef, but I found that in the chicken empanada. The chicken was better than the beef and that's a rarity for me. I moved on to the pernil. When I say the pernil was tender, juicy, flavorful and delicious, I mean it. I had more than enough for 2 meals along with the rice that I was given. So, I turned it into 2 meals. The natural pernil juices mixed in with the rice was soooo good. I can say when I ate my leftovers the next day, I added beans and everything was even better the next day. Will I return to Mia's? Absolutely!!!
Truly a hidden gem in Mays Landing! Tucked away in the heart of main street, Mia's serves up one of a kind food close to home. From classic breakfast staples to authentic Mexican favorites, there's really a little something for everyone here. I've been going there for a couple years now and have never had anything less than a great experience. The restaurant interior is cozy, modern and there is also an outdoor seating area for use during the warmer months. Service is always fast, attentive and very friendly. To top it off, prices are unbeatable for the portions and quality of food they serve. Highly recommended, whether you be a local or a short drive away, it's worth a visit to try out one of the best little secrets in town.
This is a really nice place with inside and outside dining. We came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. With the menu, specials board and Mexican menu they have a pretty good selection. As we sat down a young lady leaving suggested we try the blueberry pancakes, So my wife did. She liked them because of the fresh blueberry. I'm sorry to say, they were not the best blueberry pancakes she's ever had. I ordered the breakfast burrito off the specials board. It was very good, but it was more of a breakfast wrap than a burrito and the scramble was a bit thin, but cooked to perfection. We sat inside and I'm sure the young man that sat us was in training so no issues there.
This place is awesome. I sensed Mia's draws in people for breakfast and I convinced my party to visit the restaurant on that pretext. My objective was to eat Mexican food and I was not disappointed. My pernil platter (pork shoulder) was tender and juicy the way I like it with some delicious veggies on top. The chicken and beef empanadas were "fire", as the kids say. The cheese was melted into the beef nicely to the point that it was almost like a cheesesteak egg roll turned empanada. I applied my fry test which is how I determine that a restaurant puts in effort even when unnecessary. Anyway, Mia's passed. The fries were crispy, smothered in a homemade queso-like cheese sauce and plenty of bacon (price is great too). All that I tasted on the table was good. Regarding drinks I thought the horchata was tasty. Finally, our server was just incredible. He seems to be the point guard of this place running from table to table and sending orders to the staff in the back. Long hair, a great smile and a passion for serving people that order bigly. With all that being said, this cafe gave me a sense of familiarity. A feeling like a family member or a friend was cooking me a meal with great care. I love this place.
I love Mia's Cafe and will definitely be returning for more breakfast & to try their lunch options! The staff was all very friendly and attentive to everything we needed. The food was excellent - my dad was raving about his!! It's a very clean and well decorated restaurant with plenty of space for a lot of customers!
Was on my way out of Atlantic City and was looking for some good eats and very happy I came across Mia's Cafe. It's evident that it is a small, family-owned business and their hospitality, service, and food are all worth the price and more. Biggest thing that I loved was how fresh every single piece of food was. Not a single crumb left on my plate. Next time I'm in AC, I know where I'll be coming for another meal.
Incredible Sunday brunch my BFF and I had. Food was great! Delicious and fresh. George is the BEST waiter of all time! I'm just saying he SERIOUSLY is! Try the Mexican hot chocolate too! OUTSTANDING!!
Cute place! I parked right In front on the street. Very quaint and chic; beautiful place to eat and spend time with loved ones. Plenty of choices for food; we went with a Mexican entree and it was authentic! Salsa verde, cotija cheese and crema, all fresh and delicious! Will be back. Thank you for sharing your talents with us Mia's cafe!
Always looking for a great local spot to eat. Mia's Cafe did not disappoint. Came in for breakfast on the weekend. Great omelet and breakfast platters. Service was quick and very friendly. They always have a great looking lunch menu and also a great Mexican menu that I most definitely have to come back and try! Cute little homey feel inside the restaurant. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for a great casual meal to unwind, relax and enjoy great food.
One of the best restaurants Sue and I have been to, with a small-town feel and good service. We both had fajitas and they were terrific and big enough that we both took half of our dish. Will be back again soon.

Very little non meat options. Eggs, veg quesadilla, salads. No non meat protein offered. I had "Greek" salad which was iceberg lettuce, onion, cucumber, tomatoe and feta cheese. Dressing was oil and vinegar. If you do not offer much without meat At least make it good. Service was OK but slow. Bathroom is 4 steps up and a walk through the kitchen. Parking is street and a very small lot. Seating is inside and a large outdoor patio with an awning. Place is cute. They offer many Mexican dishes but again all meat options. read more
