I need to go back here because I was definitely short on time due to a court hearing. This place is right down the road from the courthouse so very convenient. The staff/owners?!? were very friendly and helpful. Cute place. Clean. The bathroom location is odd. The menu is a little big for the size of the cafe. I didn't have a lot of time so just ordered a ham, egg and cheese croissant. It was the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious. Stopped by this place while starving and on the way home from Virginia. I had a craving for some Latin fare, and Yelp helped me out as usual. I arrived and found parking on the street. Yay. Walked in and saw a nice, quaint establishment that was bright with friendly employees. All great signs. I asked to see a menu. I immediately saw two of my favorite things, empanadas and pernil. I opted for both. They only had 1 beef empanada left, so I grabbed it along with a chicken empanada + the pernil platter. To my surprise, the food was ready in about 10 mins. I left the restaurant and made my way home. I tried the beef empanada first, it was decent. I was looking for a little more flavor from the beef, but I found that in the chicken empanada. The chicken was better than the beef and that's a rarity for me. I moved on to the pernil. When I say the pernil was tender, juicy, flavorful and delicious, I mean it. I had more than enough for 2 meals along with the rice that I was given. So, I turned it into 2 meals. The natural pernil juices mixed in with the rice was soooo good. I can say when I ate my leftovers the next day, I added beans and everything was even better the next day. Will I return to Mia's? Absolutely!!! read more

This place is awesome. I sensed Mia's draws in people for breakfast and I convinced my party to visit the restaurant on that pretext. My objective was to eat Mexican food and I was not disappointed. My pernil platter (pork shoulder) was tender and juicy the way I like it with some delicious veggies on top. The chicken and beef empanadas were "fire", as the kids say. The cheese was melted into the beef nicely to the point that it was almost like a cheesesteak egg roll turned empanada. I applied my fry test which is how I determine that a restaurant puts in effort even when unnecessary. Anyway, Mia's passed. The fries were crispy, smothered in a homemade queso-like cheese sauce and plenty of bacon (price is great too). All that I tasted on the table was good. Regarding drinks I thought the horchata was tasty. Finally, our server was just incredible. He seems to be the point guard of this place running from table to table and sending orders to the staff in the back. Long hair, a great smile and a passion for serving people that order bigly. With all that being said, this cafe gave me a sense of familiarity. A feeling like a family member or a friend was cooking me a meal with great care. I love this place. read more

This is a really nice place with inside and outside dining. We came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. With the menu, specials board and Mexican menu they have a pretty good selection. As we sat down a young lady leaving suggested we try the blueberry pancakes, So my wife did. She liked them because of the fresh blueberry. I'm sorry to say, they were not the best blueberry pancakes she's ever had. I ordered the breakfast burrito off the specials board. It was very good, but it was more of a breakfast wrap than a burrito and the scramble was a bit thin, but cooked to perfection. We sat inside and I'm sure the young man that sat us was in training so no issues there. read more

Mi'sa is a tidy small cafe with a bright and inviting atmosphere with fresh food and a friendly attentive staff. Delicious fresh food, robust coffee and tasty breakfast potatoes (home fries). The food, service and atmosphere is perfect. I've had breakfast and their sushi. Family has had burgers and fries, etc. One of my family members is pretty picky and he actually likes all of it! Everything has been delicious and fresh. Of note, burger was a real burger not a frozen patty. And their rolls, croissants, etc. are bakery fresh. We thought they were open until 5pm due to something we saw on google but they're open until 9:30 which is great. They have comfortable seating inside, very roomy and then a lovely outdoor seating area which is decorated with flowers and it just feels so cozy and relaxing.
