You know when you're in the mood for just a big ol Italian sub? Rose's Garden Grill is that all rolled up...literally! My fiancés sister raved about one of their eggplant sandwiches and after hearing the description, i refused to let my mouth water any longer- I insisted I have a go at it the very next day for lunch. J loves their chicken parm sub...it's a solid one, at that. The chicken cutlet was cooked to perfection topped with a sweet red sauce and stringy mozz. *superb* I on the other hand, got the eggplant sub with broccoli rabe and mild provolone on a sesame roll. Oh my goodness!!! So freakin good. I loved the sandwich so much that I find myself suggesting Rose's on a weekly basis, LOL. Excited to order more tasty menu items there, real soon! read more

Recently had a terrible experience with the owner who was extremely rude and degrading. The attitude of the owner speaks to the same level of the quality of food lately. TEACHERS BEWARE I'm not one to complain, considering I work as a server in the summer, but this place has the worst customer service I've ever seen. Actually I don't think I've ever been spoken to like this ever to be honest. I ordered lunch for my team at school at 10 am to be delivered at 11:50. I waited patiently until 12:05 to call again to see where it was. I was nothing but patient with these people. My lunch is til 12:26. Upon calling back the man I spoke to freaked out on me and said very degrading things towards me and my coworker for being a teacher. For reference "boo hoo, you're a teacher" The way he was speaking was extremely unprofessional, and uncalled for. If you work in a school DO NOT order from here. Growing up in delco(pa) the hoagie shops are different compared to a Jersey deli. When I walked into Rose's, I was immediately transported back home. Hardworking family cranking out great food. Got the Buffalo tender wrap with lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese. I think they make their own hot sauce and blue cheese dressing. It was delicious. Husband got the montalban-cutlet, prosciutto, sharp prov, broccoli rabe, , roasted red peppers, and long hots. Catering menu looks amazing. read more

Bad customer service. I recently ordered a lunch delivery that was supposed to arrive at 12:30. Before ordering, I checked to make sure it would arrive on time, as I was ordering for 7 people and we have a half hour lunch break. I was assured 3 times on the phone it would arrive on time. When it was 10 minutes late, I called and they told me it would arrive within 5 minutes. The food arrived 45 minutes late. I called twice within this time and I was lied to and hung up on. I was told they were busy. Food was cold. Stop taking orders when you can't provide good customer service. read more

We are new to this area and I'm so happy we found a legit tasty sandwich shop. You will need keep them eyes peeled when you are driving because it's in a small parking lot next to a shoe repair place. Blink and you might miss it on the first drive by. Seating inside is super intimate which is ok since we usually take out and eat at home or the park. They have options for catering items for parties. Have to give it a try during football season. Now for the food. My husband loves the Harrison wrap and I love their Turkey club on rye or roll. Definitely ask for the aunt roses pepper mix. The staff is quick and helpful with recommendations for us new folks. Looking forward to trying more sandwiches. read more

We are loyal customers to Roses Garden Grill and order on a weekly basis. As of today, I along with many others at my place of employment will no longer be ordering from here EVER again!! Today, a bug that appeared to resemble a roach was found in our salad. A call was placed for a refund and the gentleman who is the owner spoke to me in the absolute WORST way one could ever imagine!! On the phone he was cursing, condescending and mocking me the entire time telling me "HE DIDNT CARE" and hung up on me twice!! Not only was he EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional but he was threatening my job because he is friends with someone at my place of employment. Rose's Garden Grill presents itself as a promising dining option; and today's encounter provided a memorable experience for our holiday luncheon, featuring a diverse selection of catering dishes. We opted for the mixed sub party tray, which offered a variety of flavors, though some were more remarkable than others. The highlight was undoubtedly the tuna sub, which surprised us with its inclusion of jalapeños and the use of shredded cheese, reminiscent of Bowel & Basket Cheese. This noteworthy twist added an interesting kick to the otherwise classic sub favorite. Additionally, the tortellini salad garnished with sliced hard Italian meats was a pleasant addition, bringing a counterbalance to the meal. While the overall quality and taste of the food was underwhelming, with ample room for improvement, it was the distinctive elements like the Jalapeno tuna and cheese sub that left a lasting impression. Ultimately, Rose's Garden Grill presents a sufficient experience with potential for culinary growth and innovation. I'm interested in seeing how the next iteration unfolds. read more

I'm definitely a fan. I've been stopping in here on occasion for several years, and the food is always fantastic. Try the Cut 8 or the South Philly. The former comes with chicken cutlets that are breaded and fried in house, along with home made broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. The South Philly has parma prosciutto, LTO, roasted red peppers (also made in house), and sharp provolone. This sandwich is pretty much as good as it gets, so do yourself a favor and stop in. And if you want to do yourself another favor, get some cheese fries to go along with it. read more
