This is the over priced salty and dry sampler
    Cindy L.

I recently visited Crabby Restaurant with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. We had a group of nine people and sit at two separate tables (they don't have one table that could accommodated nine) --one with four people and the other with five-- they should not automatic applied 20% gratuity to parties of six or more. We made it clear that we wanted separate checks for each table. Despite that, our server still added the 20% gratuity (after tax), which felt misleading and dishonest. When we questioned it, we didn't get a clear or satisfactory explanation. To make matters worse, one of my friends who ordered takeout was also charged a 20% gratuity on his to-go order--something we've never experienced at any other restaurant. This just added to the feeling that we were being taken advantage of. When we questioned she was mumbling and then said will take off the gratuity on the to go order. I forgot to take a photo of the check. As for the food, we tried the sampler platter, which we found to be overpriced for what was served one King crab leg (dry and no meat), half Dungeness, half snow and two blue crabs for $109.99. Nothing particularly stood out in terms of flavor or presentation. Overall, the experience left a bad taste--not just from the food, but from the way the situation was handled. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Crabby Restaurant based on this visit.

I passed this place a bunch of times and it has been on my list. Today was the day. I got in there around 1:30 on a Friday during the summer. Not busy. Plenty of parking. Old school charm. 38 years in business. Jan has been there from day one. Very helpful and nice. I ordered the seafood gumbo. Not too spicy. Best soup I've had in a long time. I ordered these French fries with crab on them and some type of garlic sauce. Fries looked to be made from scratch. Very tasty. I ordered these 3 large blue crabs. Not a fan of picking them apart but they were cooked perfectly and tasted good. They don't broil their crabs cakes and so I chose actual crabs. I'd go back. Not too far from Philly and worth the trip, even if you're not going down to the shore.

Crabby's is a casual seafood restaurant that offers my favorite food of all time - crab! You can get snow crab, blue claws, dungeness, & king crab among many other items! I love that they offer an all you can eat special on select days for only $39.99 per person, but you can also order by the pound. There's also plenty of options with no cracking required & a full bar - try their Crabby Mary if you like savory drinks. Service is always on point & you'll never wait long for a refill when you're doing the all you can eat! They are located in May's Landing in South Jersey but this is a seasonal restaurant that's currently closed. They do use FB, so check em out for their latest updates!

This is a local bar with amazing seafood. We started off with the crab soup (not shown) which was rich and creamy. Then we had the real loaded crappy fries which hands down where some of the best fries I've ever had and I consider myself a French fry expert. They were crispy crunchy fries (not breaded) topped with real crab meat and a garlic aïoli sauce which had a taste of vinegar what a great combination. I ate so many that I couldn't finish my meal. My husband had the shrimp fra diavolo which had just the right amount of spice and firm shrimp. I had the ahi tuna steak blackened with broccoli which was cooked perfectly meaning it was raw. The place itself is lit much to look at. Picnic tables covered in paper and dollar bills hanging from the ceiling. Services was fine.

Crabby's is a classic dive bar, but improved! Serving fresh seafood, they offer many nights with all you can eat crab variations including blue crab claws, snow crabs and dungeness crabs. Service is fast and friendly, with a full bar.

We have been driving past this place for 50 years (sorry) so we finally decided to drop in on the way back from the shore. Our new favorite place! Wish we would have done it sooner. Everything we ordered was delicious. It's a "hole in the wall" kind of place, and i mean that in a good way. Waitresses were very no nonsense, don't expect to get ur ass kissed, it ain't Congress Hall. We are definitely stopping on the way done and back every shore trip. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is really nice it reminds me of a cruise ship. They have a huge bar and the restaurant is huge. First we started off with the oysters and they were amazing I love raw oysters and these were super fresh. Then we got the Clams Casino and they were one of the best Iv ever had, the flavor was on point the peppers were perfect and has lots of flavor, the bacon was cooked great as well. The clam itself was perfect not chewy at all just a great choice. The Grilled octopus was very good. Super tender great flavor and the beans are a great touch gives it another burst of flavor that just works and tastes great. We then shared the docks seafood fry and yes that picture is a shared portion of it which is a lot of food and let me tell you that was AMAZING. First off the tartar sauce was one of the best Iv ever had it's got a dill pickle flavor that I absolutely loved. The shrimp was breaded and cooked perfectly as well as the piece of fish and they had soo much flavor. The crab cake was perfect as well I love crab cake and this one is up there with one of the best iv ever had. The service was great there are a ton of servers and they constantly check up on you and the food and I love that. All in all it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back when visiting Atlantic City.

The lobster was absolutely amazing... juicy, and stuffed with seasoned crab imperial. The corn and crab soup was hot and served as a great kick start to an awesome solo date. Dock's oyster selection was amazing and left me thinking about grabbing another dozen of the meaty, sweet-salty oysters I tried.Im planning another trip to AC at the beginning of August, and it's no question I'll be reserving a table at Dock's Oyster House the first night I'm there !!!

We chose to sit outside on the enclosed porch, which had the perfect Jersey Shore vibe--relaxed, comfortable, and charming. Our server, Anastasia, was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, helping make our evening even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely fantastic and incredibly fresh. We shared several appetizers, including the fried oysters, scallops with onions and blue cheese, clams on the half shell (perfectly shucked and absolutely delicious), and mussels in a flavorful garlic sauce. Every dish was fresh, expertly prepared, and full of flavor. By 4:30, the restaurant was bustling with guests, filling both the indoor dining room and patio areas--a true testament to its popularity. Despite being busy, the service remained excellent. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also had the pleasure of briefly meeting the owner/manager. He was incredibly personable, and it was clear how much pride and passion he has for his restaurant. That dedication shows in every aspect of the dining experience. My entire were the crab cakes I chose French fries and cole slaw. The crab cakes were tasty but in the crab imperial style. I prefer the breaded crab cakes. Nevertheless tasty. The Cole slaw was very good, the fries though were coated and although I dislike this style I liked these. My wife had the broiled scallops with mashed potato and string beans. She raved about her meal. For dessert we split a slice of the chocolate chip cheesecake which was unbelievably good. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. We have been to it plenty of times in our over 30 years of visiting AC and we have never been disappointed. The ambiance is cosy with nautical themed items decorating the walls. They have limited seating in the small establishment, with the best option being sitting at the counter at the window to people watch while enjoying your seafood items. We are always greeted by pleasant staff. They have daily specials and feature a seafood case filled with a variety of fresh seafood items that you can literally pick and they will prepare in store or you can choose to purchase to go. Our go to is the flounder and fish platter, which comes with house made slaw and fries, and either a side of fried clams or oysters. The platter also comes with a canned soda, which you get to pick the flavor choice from the beverage case. We always enjoy our food in store and are always luck enough to grab a few seats. The flounder and shrimp platter was fresh and crispy, with a light coating that did not take away from the delicate taste of the fish and shrimp. The slaw was fresh and an ok side. The fries were crispy and nothing was greasy. The oysters were fried well and when bitten, popped with a nice, fresh taste. And don't worry my MD folks, they have Old Bay to dust your food (which I really appreciate!). We suggest coming as soon as they open or call your order in ahead of time to avoid the long line that forms. All in all, our go to seafood spot when visiting AC.
