We started with a couple Martinis which were great! Seafood Alfredo was ok. Seafood was EXCELLENT. Scallops and shrimp were soft and juicy. Crab was mixed in well! Sauce was bland. Added more cheese, crushed red pepper and salt and was much better tasting. Ravioli sauce was wayyyy too sweet. Couldn't eat much do to that. Meatball was very good. Getting a bit of cabin fever from the frigid temps , my partner and I decided to take a ride to Vineland ( about 20 miles ) to check out The Green Olive . well , it turned out to be well worth the ride . we went for lunch to see what was offered and we were not disappointed . we walked in to and were immediately impressed by the spacious layout, and bright environment . we were immediately greeted and seated with menus and a specials list . The menu was vast. with all sorts of tempting offerings . we started with the autumn Squash soup which was super flavorful with a pumpkin spice taste . For dinner , I ordered the Petite Meal of Pot Roast. mashed potatoes and Cole slaw . it was perfectly cooked , tender as can be , and was accompanied with a delicious gravy . The petite Meal was huge . My companion had the squash soup , and since her appetite was not up for a full meal , had the crab cakes appetizer , which consisted of 5 broiled mini crab cakes that were full of flavor, and perfectly broiled . our server was excellent , greeting us with a big smile . she was super attentive during our meal . we will definitely suggest this place to our friends . read more

Be careful, the wait staff will lie to get your order. They said they changed their menu. I called to place an order and mistakenly cold the wrong green olive restaurant. After tussling with the a person that green olive, my specific hamburger orders were changed to match.What they were selling there. When I realized I called the wrong restaurant, they made me eat the tab. I called back to cancel but they bs'd me that it was already cooked. I was 50 miles away. The mgr told me he would figure it out and call me. He never callled me and billed me for food i would never pickup. I guess i learned from this. We had a last minute need to go out to dinner Monday 2.3.25. I decided to give this place a try. We had breakfast here when it first opened and it was meh. I am so glad we decided to take a chance. Hostess that seated us was nice. The service provided by Jadizyia was attentive and pleasant. Interior appeared clean. Food was delicious. My app of Korean Cauliflower was crispy and the coating was scrumptious. I did not expect to like it that much. Their Penne Vodka was with Sun Dried Tomato rather than prosciutto. I loved that because I crave it often but do not eat pork. Pasta was perfectly al dente and dish was comforting. The bar area was packed when we passed it. There was a decent amount of people eating in the dining room. The choices on the menu were scarily plentiful. Manager stopped by to check in on us during dinner. Salad that came with dinner was huge for a complimentary dinner salad. Overall really nice experience. Glad we gave it another chance. read more

First off, this restaurant is surprisingly large. Walked in not knowing if I was at Caesar's Palace or an Italian Restaurant! Early dinner, so it was kind of slow. As I tend to do just about everywhere, I tried me some pizza. Pretty extensive menu with mad options, but I'm a pizza snob and had to try it. Not horrible, but not the best I've had round here. My family was eating other things that they may or may not have enjoyed, but I really wasn't paying much attention due to the very large and confusing decorations. There's chandeliers, pillars, fake vines, bricks, and just about everything else you would expect out of a restaurant. read more

Seated immediately. Ordered house white wine Chardonnay on special today, nice taste. The sandwich was really delicious, a flavorful turkey wrap. Cranberry mayo something with tomato and the wrap itself was good enough to eat alone, kinda soft but toasted, turkey was not deli sliced but chunks. This is the Green Olive's second location. My mom has been frequenting their Hopewell location for years and suggested stopping at this one when we were driving through the Vineland area. It's located in the old Cosmopolitan space on Delsea and it doesn't look like much has changed aesthetically. Inside is grandiose and has plenty of booth and table options. We were seated in a booth kind of near the entrance. One thing I will say is that the bathroom needs better signage. Both times I almost walked into the kitchen before being redirected by staff. It was a tad confusing for sure. My mom and I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip app to start. It was pretty good; what you'd expect from a dip. Nothing spectacular. Our meals came with salads, so we upgraded to caesar. She asked for her dressing on the side, so I asked for mine to just come out dressed as normal. As such, my dressing was on the side. Eye. Roll. The salad wasn't that great, either, and wasn't made from the good parts of romaine. For my meal, I selected the roast turkey. From the menu, it sounded delicious: turkey in gravy, greens, and a cranberry stuffing. Honestly though, it was all pretty mediocre. I dumped salt on it like 10x and it still didn't provide flavor. The veggies were steamed and super boring, and the stuffing was weirdly sweet. My mom liked her stuffed crab cakes, so I guess maybe go for seafood? On our way out, I looked over at the dessert case and out of nowhere some random woman exclaimed, "I am trying to get out." I said sorry, held the door open for her, and she strutted out without a thank you. I made sure to yell out a you're welcome. Basic manners, people -- though I guess you can't expect much from a person who doesn't know how to say "excuse me." Point being: Be careful if you're looking at the dessert case, as it might inconvenience someone else for two full seconds. All told, the experience was pretty average. Service was friendly though. We visited last night and were wowed by this place! The outside and inside are spectacular! Decor inside is amazing and something to see! We were greeted by a friendly hostess and our server was awesome ! We ordered and food came out piping hot within about 15 minutes both dishes were fresh tasting and delicious (pasta amaritriciana and ravioli di mare) and we took dessert to go (red velvet cheesecake - amazing!). Give this place a solid four stars, basically an upscale version of a New Jersey or New York style diner but with a liquor license. Reasonably priced with a pretty wide selection of food on the menu. Just ordered from Grubhub because I can't leave the house. Only ordered from them because they had carrot cake which is the only thing I really wanted but still ordered an entree as well. Of course the only thing missing from my order is the carrot cake. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do about it and they wouldn't even give me a refund for the missing item. Ordered a regular pizza and Calamari. The pizza had too much garlic. The calamari wasn't too bad, zero seasoning on it. The Marinara sauce was also tasteless. The inside was very nice and the service was acceptable. They only serve 12" pizza. The 16" is for takeout only. Not sure of the rationale behind this. read more

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to an arts festival in Millville. There were four of us we opted for breakfast. We should've figured out by the fact that there was only three cars in the parking lot that this wasn't a good stop. It was very polished inside and very over decorated. The wait staff was friendly. We opted for a breakfast sandwich, the sausage breakfast burrito,Mushroom and spinach omelette, and eggs and breakfast meat. We start it with a cinnamon bun that was fresh from the microwave because they literally walked it from the front cabinet to the back kitchen and came out the door 10 seconds later. The breakfast came out without toast and the waitress said well I surely made it I guess it's still in the kitchen. It's still never came out. The food was pretty tasteless. We really had high hopes for this restaurant based on the way it looked and the people were very nice. It's almost unfortunate that you have a place that nice but you don't have a chef that can live up to the hype. This definitely was a one and done for us. Great food and a huge menu. I was in the area on a business trip and one of my customers told me to make sure I tried this. I am so glad I did. I had pizza; which was very tasty and crisp. Delicious. Probably the best Pizza i've had in a while. I would come back just for that. Very friendly staff and really nice bartender. I was too full from eating my entire pizza or I would definitely tried one of their many deserts, which all looked awesome. It is quite beautiful inside but not pretentious. Casual and great. He brought our drinks and said that they had a large party in another room and were short staffed. our assigned waiter never showed up so this guy did the best he could. Overall we were not pleased with the quality of the food. The fillet mignon was tough as was the veal Marsala. I could go on but overall we have been to this restaurant many times and will not return anytime soon..... We went for our anniversary tonight. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. The prices were fair. The food was disappointing. We had bacon wrapped scallops the had a very weird texture like they had been frozen and the they almost looked like they had been ground up and compressed like a macdonalds chicken nugget. My wife had snapper that was very over cooked and I had flounder franchise that had way too much egg in the batter and the sauce was very garlicky. All in all we were not impressed. Too bad. If you are thinking of going to this place - don't. The first sign of a bad restaurant is one with menu that is pages long, but we decided to give it a try since we had never been. Upon being sat we were greeted with bread, which was actually delicious. However, the real issue came when the food was served. My entree was one of the Country dinners which COMES with a salad or soup and the entree, mind you. The entire plate tasted like a load of sugar. The gravy, (if that's even what you want to call this yellow goop) was little to very tasteless along with the rest of the food once I got past my first bite of my sugary dinner. Nonetheless, the rest of my family's food was also terrible, with cold fries, overly sugary marinara sauce for nasty mozzarella sticks, dry alfredo pasta, and gummy, dry lobster ravioli. The manager also did not help the bad food situation. When we expressed to him how terrible our food was, he began talking back to us and denying that it was bad instead of apologizing and just taking the food out of our way. He also began to argue with me after I said that my food was overly sweet; saying that he "made the gravy" and that "there was not a single ounce of sugar in the sauce". I had to bite my tongue to not respond to his disrespect. Even after all that we complained, he still managed to charge my $6 for a caesar salad that was supposed to be included with my $17 meal that i DID NOT eat. He also managed to charge us $60 for God knows what, but it was certainly the worst $60 we've ever spent. If I could give 0 stars I would, but I will keep the one star for their bread. As we were leaving we warned a kind couple coming in to not waste their time or money, so they left as we were leaving as well. I would give a 5 for breakfast if the eggs Benedict were consistent. The sauce was amazing the first day. However, I've been there since, and sometimes it's blan. Having a Standard recipe would fix this. The desserts, bread w/ oil, and clams in garlic are my favorites. I think their menu is too extensive, honestly. This restaurant would do better if they offered less. The restaurant is clean, and they let my kids feed the fish, which makes the experience Exciting. I'm not too fond of the original green olive because it's dark and a little outdated so this one is my favorite out of the two. First time here. We live local and wanted to try something new. I work in the industry and am a restaurant/bar manager, so sometimes I can be a little picky. We were greeted and sat as soon as we walked in. Beautiful setting, we were admiring everything around us. Bread was hot and fresh and the dip was amazing. Our server Josiah was awesome and friendly. He had a lot of great suggestions. We had the bang bang shrimp. They were great, sauce was amazing but spicy. My daughter had chicken stir fry and my son had cheese raviolis. I tried both and they were great. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Pizza and added balsamic glaze. Top tier and everything was fresh. We will definitely be back ! We had a wonderful server. That's about it. I ordered on of my favorite pastas-puttanesca. I ordered it with angel hair and I was given linguine. That was no big deal. It was the worst puttanesca I have ever had. I literally only had 5 forksful. It was sickeningly sweet. It had an overload of big chunks of bell pepper which are never it puttanesca. There were also large chunks of onions. The olives, which are typical, were almost nonexistent. My husband had a calzone which was dry and not much flavor.
