We started with a couple Martinis which were great! Seafood Alfredo was ok. Seafood was EXCELLENT. Scallops and shrimp were soft and juicy. Crab was mixed in well! Sauce was bland. Added more cheese, crushed red pepper and salt and was much better tasting. Ravioli sauce was wayyyy too sweet. Couldn't eat much do to that. Meatball was very good. Minus the sauce as it ruined the meatball taste. We bought 5 desserts. Stay tuned. Will add once we try them at home.

We had a last minute need to go out to dinner Monday 2.3.25. I decided to give this place a try. We had breakfast here when it first opened and it was meh. I am so glad we decided to take a chance. Hostess that seated us was nice. The service provided by Jadizyia was attentive and pleasant. Interior appeared clean. Food was delicious. My app of Korean Cauliflower was crispy and the coating was scrumptious. I did not expect to like it that much. Their Penne Vodka was with Sun Dried Tomato rather than prosciutto. I loved that because I crave it often but do not eat pork. Pasta was perfectly al dente and dish was comforting. The bar area was packed when we passed it. There was a decent amount of people eating in the dining room. The choices on the menu were scarily plentiful. Manager stopped by to check in on us during dinner. Salad that came with dinner was huge for a complimentary dinner salad. Overall really nice experience. Glad we gave it another chance.

This is the Green Olive's second location. My mom has been frequenting their Hopewell location for years and suggested stopping at this one when we were driving through the Vineland area. It's located in the old Cosmopolitan space on Delsea and it doesn't look like much has changed aesthetically. Inside is grandiose and has plenty of booth and table options. We were seated in a booth kind of near the entrance. One thing I will say is that the bathroom needs better signage. Both times I almost walked into the kitchen before being redirected by staff. It was a tad confusing for sure. My mom and I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip app to start. It was pretty good; what you'd expect from a dip. Nothing spectacular. Our meals came with salads, so we upgraded to caesar. She asked for her dressing on the side, so I asked for mine to just come out dressed as normal. As such, my dressing was on the side. Eye. Roll. The salad wasn't that great, either, and wasn't made from the good parts of romaine. For my meal, I selected the roast turkey. From the menu, it sounded delicious: turkey in gravy, greens, and a cranberry stuffing. Honestly though, it was all pretty mediocre. I dumped salt on it like 10x and it still didn't provide flavor. The veggies were steamed and super boring, and the stuffing was weirdly sweet. My mom liked her stuffed crab cakes, so I guess maybe go for seafood? On our way out, I looked over at the dessert case and out of nowhere some random woman exclaimed, "I am trying to get out." I said sorry, held the door open for her, and she strutted out without a thank you. I made sure to yell out a you're welcome. Basic manners, people -- though I guess you can't expect much from a person who doesn't know how to say "excuse me." Point being: Be careful if you're looking at the dessert case, as it might inconvenience someone else for two full seconds. All told, the experience was pretty average. Service was friendly though. I probably wouldn't return on future trips to Jersey -- not worth it for me.

She instructed us to meet with the hostess inside to get a table on the patio. My wife was in a wheelchair and she told us she'd bring the hostess out. Very nice. We had a nice table on the patio, but I have to say the metal chairs weren't that comfortable. Our server, who was very pleasant, came over and took our order. For dinner my wife had the ravioli and I had the shrimp fra diavolo. Each dinner came with either soup or salad and bread. The salad was very good. Nice crisp greens and lettuce with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, shredded carrots, and other fresh ingredients. The Italian dressing we got with it tasted good. The bread was nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. A nice start to the meal. My wife enjoyed her ravioli. For me I got my meal over rice instead of pasta which was fine. The shrimp was cooked nice, but with the tails on. I know it's just a pet peeve of mine, but I hate dipping my hands in sauce to remove the tails. The sauce itself had one of the best amounts of spice from a fra diavolo i'd ever had. However, I can't say too much about the sauce itself. I wasn't a fan of the taste. Almost tasted like a sauce you'd get in a store. My biggest issue was at the end of the meal. Our waitress all but disappeared. I wanted to get our leftovers boxed and get the check. She wasn't even out on the patio for almost the entire time the singer took her break. Actually I barely saw any of the servers for awhile until the hostess came out and I flagged her down to get our server. Another issue that I wasn't too happy about is that the waitress couldn't take my card to pay for the meal. I had to leave my wife, who has alzhiemer's, alone while I went into the restaurant to pay at the hostess stand. Except for a diner, what restaurant requires you to pay at the hostess stand. If their prices were much lower I could see it, but making your patrons get up and pay was kind of stupid.

It was just the chicken with a few pieces of shrimp and crabmeat on top. It all tasted great, but it wasn't mixed together properly, just thrown on there. It would have also have been nice to have more than 3 pieces of shrimp (it also was quite expensive for this dish The fries were A+. Nothing to complain about here. Tasty, plentiful, and good price. It was not an absolutely perfect dining experience, but I will give kudos where kudos are deserved. I will say, the outside of the restaurant gives way more opulent feel than what is on the inside. The villa looks like one out of Italy with statues on the property, a nice little outdoor area to run around (if you ask my almost 2 year old). The inside is casual, so no need to get overly dressed up like my family did (unless you want to). Fresh baked rolls and a pesto oil are set on the table to start. It was a bad day to be roll and oil at our table. While I was not incredibly overwhelmed by the dipping oil, the majority of our party was practically fighting over the little dish of green-oil-goodness. All of the entrees are served with soup or salad. The salad was a little sad, but it wasn't enough to ruin the review. I just assumed the balsamic dressing was a vinaigrette and not just straight acid burning your insides. The calamari was good! Perfectly crisp, accompanied by the perfect marinara for dipping. As for entrees, I went with the limoncello entree with chicken. The sweet lemon cream sauce, is unlike anything I've ever tried, and perfectly paired with asparagus, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes over linguini. Would order again, but also would likely order a different dish because there were so many delicious looking entrees across the table. I was most intrigued by the dishes that our party got with the cheese sacchetti. They are like most other cheese filled pastas but the shape and texture really gave you a lovely pop of cheese as you bite into it. The waitress was fine- not friendly, but also didn't mess anything up, aside from not bringing a dish for disposing shells from the seafood rissoto (she's forgiven). All-in-all, I look forward to returning, again!
