chicken piccata

If you're looking for a local gem in Buena, NJ, look no further than Villa Fazzolari. This longstanding Italian-American restaurant has built a reputation for delivering some of the best comfort food in the area, with an extensive menu that covers everything from classic Italian pasta dishes to mouthwatering steaks, sandwiches, and pizzas. We ordered the zuppa di mare, chicken piccata, chicken marsala and the spaghetti Bolognese. great cocktails and the cheesecake and tres leches cake for dessert were very good. The food is always exceptional--whether you're in the mood for a hearty plate of lasagna or craving a juicy, tender steak, Villa Fazzolari has you covered. Their pizza is a standout, with a perfect balance of crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The sandwiches are equally impressive, with generous portions and delicious fillings that never disappoint. But it's not just the food that makes Villa Fazzolari a local favorite. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The cocktails are another highlight, expertly crafted and the perfect complement to a delicious meal. Whether you're enjoying a casual dinner with friends or celebrating a special occasion, Villa Fazzolari makes every meal feel like an event. With its rich history and commitment to quality, Villa Fazzolari remains a true cornerstone of Buena's dining scene. If you haven't been yet, it's definitely worth a visit--you won't be disappointed!

Zuppa Di Pesce (For 2) Generous portion! Couldn't Finish it!

Restaurant is a bit in the middle of nowhere it seems, but worth the ride! From the moment you walk in, both inside and out, appears very Authentic Italian. We ordered the Seafood Salad and Sausage Stuffed Long Hots for Appetizers, Delish! Generous portions and very tasty! Mixed drinks are Strong, the way I like it! Dinner we opted for Zuppa De Pesce for 2, Huge Bowl of Seafood over Linguini, Wife and I couldn't finish it! Excellent in both flavor and portion. Cheese cake for dessert, fresh, smooth and creamy! Amy was our server, she was very attentive and on point! This place is a hidden gem, bit out of the way but worth the ride, depends where your coming from. Has a separate bar and pizzeria in the back but we didnt check it out. Will definitely be coming back!

Gino Junio's Favorite Spicy Pizza

This is our favorite local pizza spot. Take out or eat in, it's always delicious. We go for the Gino Jr.'s Favorite. They have a busy bar, with local brews on tap and a decent house cab. You can almost always get a table, even on the busiest of nights. It can be loud in the bar and adjoining dining area, but the inside restaurant is a bit more dressed up.

Five stars for the excellent service provided by Dylan NYE Saturday 12.31.22. I meet girlfriends here from time to time for drinks but do not often sit down in the main restaurant for a real meal. Service was spot on. Restaurant atmosphere is nice.

Happy Hour

Met friends they for Happy Hour on Thursday. They actually have happy hour Monday through Friday and Ladies night on Thursday! I didn't realize there are 2 entrances so I sat at the front bar which is small and low key. Bartender there was very friendly. When I realized there was a back bar, bartender actually walked me over (had to go back outside to get there). Dining area looked pretty big, but we just walked passed it for me to get a better idea to judge. Back bar is a bigger area with pub tables around too. The ambience is lively with music playing. We sat at the bar and the Bartender was amazing -- attentive, skilled and funny! Drinks are delicious and the Happy Hour prices were a huge bonus! We ordered food from the happy hour menu; cheesesteak egg rolls were tasty, clams were good but not spicy at all for me, the spicy macaroni bites were very good but had a funny presentation (perhaps a smaller plate or bowl would've been better). The nachos were blah, but the more martinis we had the better they tasted! Lol. It was a great night- stayed til it closed. Last thing: Bathroom was very clean in that back bar area but was FREEZING cold in there!

Tortellini Alfredo

Best lobster ravioli I've ever had! Great service and accommodated special request for tortellini with Alfredo sauce. Would 100% go back!

Food was great and the atmosphere and staff were phenomenal. Alicia was personal and offered great recommendations. She was fast with refills and thoughtful with the kids at the table. Highly recommend.

I took three guests with me to Villa Fazzolari, a restaurant I had never been too previously. It' a rather large and everything seemed to be new. It's spotlessly clean, I was given a warm greeting when entering and quickly escorted to a table. For my meal I ordered an appetizer of their Clams Casino and for my main course, their Veal Francese with a side of garlic and olive oil spaghetti. I didn't see the spaghetti done only with garlic and olive oil on the menu but when I requested there didn't seem to be any problem. When my Clams Casino arrived they were in an eye appealing presentation with 8 to the plate. My waitress asked me how I enjoyed them and I could honestly respond that they were indeed very good. She then said "They're the real Italian," but I didn't bother telling her they were a creation of Chef Keller at the Narragansett Pier in Rhode Island. Hence having nothing to do with Italy or Italian cuisine. My veal francese likewise was decent in appearance and also good in texture and overall flavor. It had, for me, what I thought to be an overly thick batter that ended up giving it a somewhat soggy effect but it certainly had a clean fresh lemon taste. I wouldn't say the food here is Villa Fazzolari uniquely good or in any way exception but certainly better than what is typically found. Also the overall dining atmosphere is better hence I can go Four Stars on Villa Fazzolari

The wings are almost always excellent, and depending upon the chef, my preference for a medium rare burger is honored. Their dry rub was hard to pass up, a artful mix of spicy, sweet, and salty, but it has become inconsistent over the last few years. There is a solid selection of good local beers. The inside can be loud if it's crowded, so if you're seeking a quiet place to eat, sit on the (enclosed) porch if it's open. Service is usually quick and friendly. Love this place.

Update - place is dead... I mean dead…read more First bartender was nice and attentive. Thank goodness I cashed out with het before she left. Food service with 6 people in the bar was slow. Not quite sure why. The food was good and fresh and the cook came out and she was nice. Fast forward to shift change and the bartender that showed up with the cocky manager had the attention span of a flea. No hello, no recognition of our empty drinks sitting on the bar rail. She was more interested showing some old guy pictures on her phone that nursed a beer over an hour and half. Meanwhile our check was well over a hundred. After coughing - waving and making comments pretty loudly, to get the twits attention, we decided to go to one of the much better establishments that surround this dump. Sorry not sorry - your clicky, cockiness will pay off in the long run. Save your money, don't patronize this pathetic establishment.

The food was very good, especially the Elbow Macaroni and cheese side that was made with cream cheese. Only downside were 3 loud drunks sitting at the bar that probably should have been asked to leave an hour prior. On our second visit on a Friday night, the place was much busier and loud to the point that the barmaid had trouble hearing our order. OK I get that, it's not a Michelin rated 5 star restaurant. Anyway, I ordered a cheeseburger with a side of the mac and cheese and my girlfriend ordered the cheesteak eggrolls. While the burger was good, the so called mac and cheese side turned out to be ziti with pasty alfredo "sauce". Reminded me of a cross between wallpaper paste and drywall spackle and tasted like one would imagine the spackle and paste would. NOT the great m&c I had on prior visit. Girlfriends Cheesesteak Eggrolls were the diameter of my finger and filled with appeared to be and smelled like beef and gravy cat food.

Before I start they add 3% to your bill if you use a credit card. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯…read moreThe wife felt like "bar food." So we figured Tailgaters. First off, our server Terri is awesome. She checked on us just enough. A basket of popcorn on the table, and the menus with QR codes for the beer are good touches. I had draft, but the wife liked the peach tea and loved the Azalea lemonade. We only had apps, so we went with sliders (tasted flame-broiled), pretzel bites, chicken Caesar (great dressing), pickle chips (you get a lot), and some of the best shoestring French fries I've ever had. The way McDonald's used to taste. This was something my wife needed, and you guys came through, so thanks. But I have to take a star for the 3% thing because you put it in really small print at the bottom of the menu. Why not put it at the top?

Everything from burgers to Italian to specialty pizzas and tacos were available. We went with the clams and linguini alongside a buffalo chicken pizza. Both were super tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is cozy, but not crammed. It had a great energy overall and I look forward to stopping in again sometime soon.
