We happen to be in the neighborhood and a quick search for best breakfast brought us here. This is a classic diner type restaurant with a pretty expensive menu of all of the breakfast options. We went around lunchtime so we had the best of both menus. We ordered three eggs over, medium with home fries and ham. The breakfast came out eggs perfectly cooked, hot and good. We also ordered the turkey club which the avenue puts a spin on by slathering it with cranberry mayonnaise which was a nice add-on. You get the choice between chips, potato salad or french fries with your sandwich. Service was fast and efficient food came out as ordered. I feel like the best part of the breakfast was the price going to all of the other diners near where we live breakfast though we seems to be a $50. Drop. Breakfast was $37 with gratuity all in. This is a really good price for a good breakfast. We're not frequently in this neighborhood. It's about 30 minutes away from home. But we definitely would return again if in the area.

Wow, Turkey Burger was homemade and great! I had the Pistachio cake for dessert and it was a taste of various layers of delish!

Good service. Varied menu. Convenient location. My niece's eyes were bigger than her stomach. We both got breakfast food, so I'm not sure how well that tests the kitchen, but the food was made fresh and we both liked it. The ambiance is like a diner but somewhat classier. A solid diner establishment with a little extra something special. I'll be back.

I hadn't been here since it was Oceano's years and years ago. My girlfriend went last week and jogged my memory. We had an awesome meal here and will be returning! Chicken finger app, Caesar with a scoop of chicken salad and meatloaf. All super good! Lovely server - so genuine, attentive, and sweet. I liked the decor and spaciousness as well.

We had such a great time at the Avenue Diner. We went to celebrate our friend's birthday and the hostess and wait staff were so great and accommodating. We definitely overstayed our welcome, but they were the best. Everything that we got was delicious. The owners are Greek, so we ordered a lot of the Greek items on the menu and everything was great. It has a great, small town diner feel and I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

What a pleasant surprise!! Ordered delivery and everything was fresh and delicious. What a great diner option in the area!

Sadly, once again another super intelligent waitress that does not feel the need to write down an order, silently they nod as we tell them our order, hubby and I make a bet on the amount of times she comes back to re check 3x not bad, at least his toast is right and the sausage got corrected, she thought bacon. My eggs but over done, wrong potatoes and butter on the plain toast I ordered. Oh well another genius wasting her time waitressing. What happen to writing it down and getting the order right, glad my waitressing days are over I cared to much about the ppl I served and the money I worked for!

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

I had the omelette and it sad so well balanced so filling of a meal but I want to compliment over the fact that food did come to us served all greasy even the potatoes it was so well done. My son devoured his burger lol he loved it so much sharing wasn't really an option for him lol. Overall this review is well deserved with the starts given. The service was quick staff was so friendly and polite. There isn't much of seating area as it's a small space but it moves fast. It can get a bit loud when it's crowded.

Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!

From the moment you pull into the parking lot, it's complete chaos, cars double parked everywhere with no organization. Walking inside doesn't get any better. The place is overcrowded with DoorDash and Grubhub drivers just standing around, and there's no clear system for who's waiting, who's ordered, or where to go. You literally have to ask a dozen people just to figure out where the line starts. After finally placing our order, we were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. That turned into an hour... then an hour and a half... then nearly two hours, with zero communication or updates. We even went back in after an hour, only to be told our food still wasn't ready, but were offered a tiny spoon of water ice as if that somehow made up for it. Then, after waiting even longer, we were finally told they were out of beef bacon, the main ingredient in both of our sandwiches, and asked if we wanted a substitute. At that point, absolutely not. We canceled the order. To make matters worse, instead of issuing a proper refund, we were told to "monitor our bank account" and come back if the charge doesn't fall off. That's unacceptable. At least the receipt says voided but I already know where I'll be on Wednesday

When we arrived, the restaurant was busy, and we waited about 15-20 minutes after adding our names to the waitlist. Since it was a beautiful day, there was the option to dine indoors or outside. We chose to sit inside. My first impression was that the restaurant was lively and bustling, which made it feel like a popular neighborhood favorite. It also appeared to be both family-friendly and pet-friendly, which was a nice touch. For my meal, I ordered the Omelette & Potatoes with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and onions, along with a side of bacon. The omelet itself was good, but the bacon was a major disappointment. It was extremely overcooked--so crispy that it resembled bacon chips rather than strips of bacon. My daughter ordered the Egg White Wrap with turkey sausage, spinach, and feta, along with a side of fresh fruit. She enjoyed it well enough but felt it was just okay. Overall, we both agreed that the food was pretty basic. It wasn't bad and it was nothing to write home about. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was attentive and the service was pleasant, the food didn't quite live up to the reviews I had read. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a place I'd be in a hurry to revisit.
