This cafe is so cute and they have so many drink options! This might be the largest drink menu I've seen for a coffee shop in the area. I got the lavender matcha latte, which was really good. I appreciate that they have it here year round, because the version at Starbucks is seasonal. I loved drift away Café, I used to go when it first opened, and they are so successful now! The coffee and cold brew is always delicious, and the espresso is a beautiful Amber color. Delicious food. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and my brother got a buffalo chicken melt and both were incredible. My friend and I ordered a seasonal flavored coffee that was delicious. The food took a little longer to come out than the drinks but that was fine it still was not a long wait. Stopped by on a week day for a coffee and a cookie. This was my first time here and the employee who took my order was very friendly and helpful. I decided on the mocha salted caramel latte and a peanut butter cookie. The latte was perfect - not too sweet, but definitely had good mocha flavor. The peanut butter cookie was on the dry and crumbly side, but not in a bad way. It was delicious. I loved the porch seating. I'll definitely come back to enjoy it in the fall. read more

The cutest & best brunch spot in the area!!! you order at a window & they call your name when the order is ready. There is only outdoor seating, but there's plenty of it. I absolutely loved my bagel with sausage, egg & cheese. It was flavored so well and the sausage had a mild sweetness to it which was perfect. My friend got bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant which they enjoyed very much as well! For drinks I got a creme brûlée latte which was too sweet in my opinion but the flavor was good and refreshing. My friend had the tropical smoothie which was food but under sweetened, I don't think it had any added sugar which was good. There were 3 people playing live music which made it a cooler experience. The only thing I disliked was that getting to the bathroom felt like I was walking through someone's messy house & the bathroom was also not very clean. if you skip the bathroom, I'm sure you'll enjoy the food, service & ambiance read more

Nice and classy little breakfast and lunch spot on Gibbsboro Rd. directly next to Napoleon's Cremepuffery and near the Baptist megachurch (Driftaway Cafe is closed on Sundays, otherwise they would draw a mega-sized breakfast and lunch crowd and have to hire more staff on those days!) I ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese on a Croissant with extra sausage. Absolutely positively delicious!! Big sized fresh croissant with nicely seasoned sausage and well prepared egg inside (go with the Mexican blend cheese instead of the American cheese!). Kudos for them offering Cafe Au Lait as a coffee drink option on their menu (as most East Coast establishments wouldn't even bother). However, for those of you who have had the real deal at Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans, this version doesn't even come close. The coffee was fresh and it was a strong blend, but it wasn't half coffee, half cream. I had to add Coffeemate creamer to it when I got home. Just an FYI, y'all. Very cute place, workers are nice, breakfast food is amazing (I have yet to try out the lunch menu but I have heard good things) but omg they are extremely slow. I have waited over 15 minutes for a premade croissant (not even toasted) and over 20 minutes post call in order. It seems like that is the vibe of the store, super laid back but if you have literally anything to do after visiting it is best to order online and add an extra 10 minutes, at least, to have a quick pickup. There has been multiple other times where the wait does not seem to make much sense with the size of the crowd but again, great food just horrible time to receive. Also I have tried multiple drinks, everytime the coffee is mid, their specialty drinks like the refreshers and matcha is the only thing I would really spend money on because they are pricey!! read more

It's technically a bacon, egg and white American cheese. You can actually have it any way you like it, but this is how I like it. Usually croissant sandwiches are greasy, but this was light, crispy and didn't make my hands oily. There's ample parking and how adorable is this place? It looks like a converted house. You order at the window and wait for your name to be called. The patio wraps around toward the side of the house so there plenty of seating. Sitting outside is so relaxing. It's quiet and serene. Never again!! If you want hot coffee don't order it here! Last time I got a latte it was lukewarm so I decided to try once more and order it extra hot. Once again it was lukewarm at best. I asked if they could make it hotter.I was told no problem only to be told two minutes later they cannot "heat in the microwave because the cup does not fit". I asked if they would remake it so it would be hot like I ordered!! Then I was told no because they would have to use more products if they remake a drink! Excuse me????!!!? Then someone said take the lid off and microwave it. Why would I want a plastic lid in the microwave and why would I want microwaved coffee when I ordered it just now?! They did microwave it and I guess they didn't turn it on because the temp was the same!! I asked for a refund and they were surprised. This is a great little spot to just relax with a cup of coffee in the morning. I like to visit on a day off from work during the week when it is not busy and my daughter is in school. A little me time. They have a great selection of handcrafted coffees and teas. They have several food options and bakery items as well. However, I always get the same sandwich, Pork Roll Egg and Cheese on a kasier roll. Delicious!! I do switch up the coffee based on what yummy specials they have on the menu. A huge open porch and plenty of rocking chairs to just sit back and relax. I always have my Kindle on me and enjoy my book and coffee while rocking away.
