I was craving chicken so went with the fried bird sandwich, added fries for $1.50 or so more. The meat was nicely breaded and still tender, but very small. The fries were pretty good but overall not a meal I would reorder. Trish was nudged into trying the aforementioned pancakes, they were very good but a smaller than normal breakfast sized portion, the 2 cakes had great flavor and texture and we wondered what happened to the third. Aidan had a bowl of chili that we were offered tastes of, lots of meat and nice bean ratio, but no heat or spice. I wondered if any actual chilis found their way into the pot. It's a very clean business with decor that may have been purchased elsewhere in this very building. Our server was friendly but not well versed in the menu options. Credit cards are accepted. It's doubtful I would dine here again unless under extenuating circumstances.

They are knowledgeable about the menu/specials, extremely personable and pleasant, and quick and efficient. I look forward to seeing them and they're one of the reasons I keep coming back week after week. Geets diner hits on all the main reasons I love a diner: huge menu, copious servings, and friendly service. The place is clean, and the lighting is great. The bathrooms always look maintained. There's a huge counter section and 2 different spaces with tables and booths. There's enough room for everyone, even on busy days. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can watch TV too, if you'd like. The meal I am mostly coming in for is breakfast. The specials, which are available M-F from 7AM-11AM, are, quite frankly, the best value in town. You cannot beat Geets prices, especially considering what you get. But more importantly: the quality is A+ and the servers take care to make sure your plate is correct before they bring it to you. If you have not done so yet, check out their "customer appreciation" breakfast special. Two eggs, choice of meat, potatoes, toast, unlimited coffee, and a small juice. What would you pay for this? At Geets it is $10.65, which includes tax. Ask your server about substitutions too, because I know instead of "home fries" you can get fried potato cubes, grits, or even sliced tomatoes. It's good to have choices! There's a reason Geets has been opened as long as they have. There's a reason it's a landmark. I feel confident that if you're within 20 miles of Geets, you've heard of it and have been there. If not, you need to go there now and experience it for yourself. Lounge/Bar: for me, it's all about service. JoJo, Shayna, Lisa, Paul, and Frank - you're in good hands. They're proficient mixologists, they know the menu, and they're fast. You are getting stellar service with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming, too. There's a huge bar with plenty of TVs and the outside patio area is now enclosed, virtually doubling the bar/lounge area. What's been done with the space is refreshing to see. Once the double doors are opened, it's like one big bar and lounge with plenty of space for everyone. Booths and high-top seating complete the layout. As with the diner, the lounge offers exceptional food and drink at great value. Happy hour is from 3:00PM-7:00PM M-F and the specials on food and drink are fantastic. It would be wise to check the website and/or Facebook because they have specials during the week that you should take advantage of, such as Thursday night pizza and Wednesday night half-priced wings. A huge plus is that the diner menu is available in the lounge too. Another reason to check online is there is often entertainment, such as trivia night and live music. Whatever you're in the mood for regardless of time of day, Geets has something for you and you'll be glad that you went. See you there!

McDonald's would have to do something glaringly egregious to get me to ever voice a complaint. This…read moreis base line "happiness is about managing expectations." It's McDonald's - you already know what to expect! I can't even tell you how many times I've patronized this McDonald's in Williamstown over the past 40 years. Probably thousands of times (don't judge!). I would say the number of times my order was correct, the staff were pleasant, and service was quick is most likely in the high 90th percentile. Lately, and by that I mean during the past 5 years, I've noticed excellent customer service above and beyond expectations. In my morning runs, there are several adults on site who provide friendly and fast service. But even during times when I only interact with employees of a younger age - they are all so polite and professional. It's refreshing to get the sense that they actually care about their jobs. And the food... well, I keep eating it. Clearly no problems here. Realistically, have I had an issue here and there over the years? Of course. No one is perfect. But what do I consider "a problem" at a fast-food restaurant? The drive thru took too long? Okay maybe there was a call out or they are training someone new. My order was wrong? Okay, give them an opportunity to fix it. There was an egg shell in my McMuffin? Eh, it happens. They forgot to put extra pickles on my McDouble? Oh dang! My point is, I have seen people completely lose their "S" at a fast food chain. For what? That type of behavior/reaction is rarely warranted. I don't usually go inside the restaurant. The times I have, I can say it looks clean and I don't see anything that would raise a concern. In conclusion: thank you McDonald's for winning "the numbers game" - so many many many visits and so very few issues/problems. My order is correct, the people are friendly, and the service is fast. See you soon!

I legit sat there for 22 minutes. 4:00-4:22. I had to park my car and go in and the girls at the counter were so frazzled and confused. This happens ALL THE TIME. I ordered 2 hoagies, one special order. Clerk making sandwiches fied an order so I asked if my number was next and it wasn't. So while I waited, I just so happen to see another worker come out ladies room, and come behind counter to begin working, DID NOT WASH HANDS!!! She immediately put on new gloves and started touching sandwiches I saw that were already made. They looked like what I ordered. I refuse to eat the sandwiches she touched. Very unsanitary. And I hate when fast food workers don't understand the importance of or are just completely lazy to wash hands before returning to work stations. Not sure if she washed hands in bathroom either, but she should've washed them at both locations. I went to register and asked to speak to manager, told him what happened, and requested a refund. He offered to remake sandwiches, and I agreed to that. When I walked back to wait, I saw the worker washing her hands. I was happy that he addressed the situation, and hoping the worker learned a lesson. I know more than likely it happens more often than I'll ever know, but because I saw it happen, I had to speak up. Situations like this is how germs spread and people get sick.(the nurse in me talking). Wawa, please try to get workers to wash hands before handling food. I forgot to look n see if they wear aprons or not. Another pet peeve is when restaurant workers go in restrooms or break with them on. Ughhh. Beware and watch out. Report if I find something unsanitary going on in a food establishment. Rant over...
