Luckily, my daughter and her fiancé live in Philly and brought a bag with them to Dallas while we were all in town for Hannahs wedding. The pretzels were still soft, doughy, and incredibly satisfying with just the right amount of salt. You could tell these were the real deal classic Philly comfort food done right. The dipping sauce paired perfectly and somehow made them even more addictive. The Staff was very knowledgeable and sweet.. Now I completely understand why they were featured on CBS Sunday Morning. A simple pretzel turned into one of the most memorable bites of the weekend.

The texture was amazing but flavor was inconsistent. 8/10 texture and 1/10 flavor. The lady ringing me up was also kinda rushing me, probably trying to get through the line ASAP. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the peach milk shake, perfect flavor, not too overly sweet and so yummy! Philly Pretzel Factory in Lansdale has definitely earned 5 stars from me…read more I usually come here when I need trays for parties or events, and they've always had my order ready on time and accurate. It can be a busy place, but the line usually keeps moving. Pretzels are also an easy crowd-pleaser for a group since they work well for kids, adults, and vegetarians. I've compared pricing with other Philly Pretzel Factory locations, and this one has been noticeably better. For example, a large rivet tray is $8 less here than at the Blue Bell location. Parking is probably the main thing to keep in mind when you're stopping in for a pickup. I usually suggest checking the lots behind the nearby brewery and coffee shops rather than trying to fight for a spot right out front. I'd also recommend ordering online. The process is easy, and it's a good way to see all of the tray sizes and dipping sauce options before you order. One thing I've changed over the years is my pickup timing. I used to schedule an earlier pickup just to be safe, but now I try to pick everything up closer to the start of the party. The pretzels are much better fresh, and after sitting for a few hours they can start to get hard. One experience that really stuck with me was when their credit card system went down. Instead of making it a hassle, they ended up giving me the tray for free. That kind of customer service definitely helped turn me into a loyal customer.

The staff wasn't rude or anything, but on both occasions I got a "What are you doing here?" vibe that was slightly off-putting. My first visit was picking up an order for Uber Eats and I was told that it was the best pretzel spot in the city, so I just had to try it. I order two everything pretzels, two soft pretzel twists, and two sweet pretzels to share with a group. The order was staples shut and I confirmed the contents before leaving. Unfortunately, there was only one of the two everything pretzels that I had paid for, further dampening my experience. The store front itself is tiny and I tended to grab and go... there's absolutely nothing cute or interesting about it, but I understand that isn't the point. The pretzels were soft and fresh, and I even shared with strangers at the park. Everyone enjoyed them but nobody was wowed. The order was ready on time and the price was right, but my search for the ultimate Philly pretzel experience continues.

The menu in the store doesn't state clearly how much one pretzel is, so we had to ask. It's $1.50. It came out pretty badly. It was tough and tasteless. The pretzel salt was the highlight but it wasn't enough to save the situation. We probably can't complain due to the price, but we'd rather pay more (double) for Miller's Twist.
