    Bacon and Egg Sandwich
    Dana D.

Tried out Township Hot Bagel in Sewell today after hearing good things. Ordered 3 bagel sandwiches. 2 bacon egg and cheese and 1 pork roll egg and cheese cost $25. I am ok with paying $8 for a bagel sandwich but these sandwiches were not worth that price. As you can see, there was one fried egg and one piece of meat on the sandwich. The bagel was good but I've had similar quality bagels elsewhere. Sorry but not worth the money. Township Hot Bagel you should either lower your prices or make the sandwich worth the amount that you charge. Sorry but won't be returning there.

I continue to visit and continue to be disappointed. Every time I order a to-go bagel sandwich it is rock hard. Only when I order to eat in store is it a fresh good bagel. The one I just tried to have for lunch today I had to throw out and eat the chicken salad on it's own. Additionally I asked for lettuce on my bagel sandwich and was given a to-go- container with the lettuce inside of it... to put together on my own I guess. Not what I asked for. Lastly, with this visit, there were what I assume are the owners- or extended family of the owners visiting and filming walking in and out of the store, behind the counter, into the kitchen, etc. This not only is unprofessional, but potentially unsanitary and rude for myself and the other guests waiting for their orders.

Wow, intake back everything I ever said about south jersey bagels. This place was really, really awesome. Fresh, hot, and MASSIVE. The only thing I hate more then a chewy bagel is one that the egg is bigger then. Every flavor, seemed family owned which I love. I will def it'll be back.

The "classic" South Jersey bagel is a soft pseudo kaiser roll with a hole in the middle. I have sampled them from the Delaware River to the Atlantic Ocean with stops in between in hopes of finding an establishment that understands what bagels are. Now, in the past I have found one or two that presented a decent bagel but for the most part I have not had to worry about the chew because the roll oops the bagel was softer than soft. But not this special bagel shop ... I read a review that used the two words that usually do not get a compliment from me NORTH JERSEY and I was intrigued. And, when I spoke with the owner after biting into my awesome so perfectly baked bagel he said that he was from "NORTH JERSEY" and that's why he knew how to create bagels from the boil to the bake. The aroma of onion bagels hit me as I walked in because they were fresh out of the oven. But, there was a nice array of bagels waiting to be sampled. And, while I probably should have gone schmear to make this an authentic bagel shop review since schmear's do matter ... I had to go with the egg, cheese, and Taylor Ham (pork roll) sandwich. What a wise choice I made but first ... the staff were super friendly, the restaurant was perfectly clean and although it wasn't the ritz the simplistic design is perfect to enjoy bagels and beverages. When you order a sandwich with cheese you want it ooey, gooey, melts and messy! TEN STARS to these guys ... the bagel surrounding my sandwich was perfect crisp on the outside and chewy in but the egg and cheese and meat filled the inside. The meat was so plentiful that it was slipping out and the cheese ... ooooooooo .... that's it. JUST OOOOOOOOOOO There were a couple self service coffee option my dark roast was nothing special but that doesn't matter because this was without doubt a FIVE STAR experience and I will be back. Actually, I was disappointed that my schedule made buying take home bagels inconvenient but I WILL BE BACK! Just think REAL BAGELS just like in the BIG APPLE right here in SOUTH JERSEY created by someone who knows what it takes to make a bagel. So, drive an extra mile or two and skip the Kaiser's with their centered holes and get ready to chew!

Food was cold and slapped together, way undercooked including the potatoes. We threw it away and thankfully DoorDash gave us our money back. Never ordering from here again, obviously. Almost comical.

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

The first thing that hit me when I entered this small, quaint little establishment was I felt like I was transported back to Mayberry of the 50's and 60's. Breakfast is served all day, and my western omelette with home fries, English muffins and crusty scrapple were delicious with my coffee and tomato juice. I guess the atmosphere lends to the friendliness of the patrons, who seem like neighbors you've known forever, especially the young toddler in a high chair I was playing peek a boo with around the partition that separated our booths.
