My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It's been some time since we have been there. The food was excellent!!! We ordered the blistered carrots with goat cheese cream...so delicious the combination of the tangy goat cheese and the caramelized sweet carrots from the char was never something we would imagine. Then our main course the perfectly seasoned potato home fries with the sunny side up fried eggs were key since the eggs were fried until the whites were crispy with the soft potatoes, onions and red peppers! Wow wow wow!! My husband got the salmon with salad and potatoes which were fried and crispy! Nothing left on the plate!! Then for dessert, everyone needs to experience the cosmic brownie! I cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant. The service is always great and the food is even better! My go-to is the truffled steak eggs Benedict. You cannot go wrong with that dish. For a lighter appetizer, the roasted carrots with avocado and some kind of whipped cheese sauce is heavenly. This place is perfect for a Sunday brunch, but you can come anytime. The Chips and Caviar stole the show for me. What a unique combination! The Gnocchi Mac and Cheese was sinfully delicious. Went to Gass & Main for brunch and had a great experience. We arrived right when they opened, so it wasn't very busy, but the service was excellent and attentive throughout our meal. We started with the deviled eggs, which were really good and full of flavor -- the salmon roe on top was a nice touch and added something extra. For my main course, I ordered the steak and eggs Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was so good it really tied the whole dish together. Sadly, the brussel sprouts were way over-seasoned and had to be sent back. Another table said the same of their order. The carrots were fantastic though. Tomato soup and grilled cheese was good, but not special. Deviled eggs are worth an order. My salmon was and serving with sides was generous. My friend, however, had to send her burger back for being very undercooked. It was then overdone. Dessert was a strong ending to the meal, and the staff did right the wrongs. I've heard good things about other experiences here and would give it another try since some of the meal was very good. For the price, I would want everything I ordered to be consistently well-prepared but appreciated the presentation, atmosphere, and service. read more

Location: Takes a little sense of direction to find this hem nestled in the corridor of Haddonfield center district. Parking: There is a paid parking lot within walking distance. The restaurant is small and intimate. When you walk in you enter through the kitchen. The hostess checked us in, and sat us between two tables. It's tight I am not going to lie. I ordered the table pancakes, which served up as the size of a silver dollar. They were decent. It was the cheesesteak Benedict that did me in. The poached egg done to perfection, the steak texture and taste was like an Eagles championship parade in my mouth. Well done Gass and Main (G&M). Matt you are extraordinary human. Celebrating my birthday weekend and date night with my husband at Gass & Main. Our server, Kyle, told us about their new seasonal menu plus weekend additions. I showed him my SJFS card and he said he would surprise us with an appetizer. We ordered the lobster gnocchi Mac which was a weekend addition app. We received the chips and caviar as our free appetizer. Wow - they were both amazing. There was a great amount of lobster which we were very pleased with as almost every bite had lobster. I'm not a big fan of bbq chips but these were on another level. I ordered the crab primavera which Kyle recommended. It was a huge portion and had lots of crab. My husband had the mustard crusted pork chop which was thick and tender. My favorite dessert has always been strawberry shortcake so as soon as I saw it on the dessert menu I stopped looking. Kyle came back with the strawberry shortcake with a birthday sparkler flickering brightly on top. This is by far my favorite restaurant in South Jersey. I didn't, but I'm a better person after consuming Gass and Main's "World's Best Hotdog." The buttered roll and tangy mustard makes for a slam dunk. If you visit for brunch, there's no shortage of great breakfast options. A lot of the chef's dishes can be made vegetarian and/or vegan friendly, so don't be afraid to get adventurous! The staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. I highly encourage reservations! A coveted walk-in spot might not be guaranteed given the (much deserved) hype of Gass and Main. There is metered parking and a paid lot nearby, but if you don't mind a short walk, you can find free street parking down the otherside of the restaurant, away from the main drag. Been wanting to come to this place for some time now and we finally had the chance. As many people have said the place is small but cozy. I concur with that assessment and the decor was nice. The food was incredible. We started with the Gnocchi Mac and Cheese and Deviled Eggs. The truffle in the mac and cheese was perfect and not overwhelming. It was delicious. The Deviled Eggs had a lot of filling which tasted so good. A bit of horseradish made for a nice bite. For mains (we went during brunch), I had the special which was softshell crab big mac. The entrance to this hidden gem is on the court side, it can be easily missed if not for the folding sign in front. The main door literally takes you into the kitchen service area and is a little surprising. The dining room is small and they pack it with tables and chairs -very cozy one would say. We went for lunch recently and the waiter is very quick and attentive, offering suggestions after asking for any dietary restrictions. I am on a vegan diet and he pointed to things that are vegan (or could be made vegan). I took the recommendation of grilled rainbow carrots and the salisbury squash burger. The carrots were grilled very well in color and texture the vegan cheese spread was crazy good. The burger had very good texture and the sauce was very reminiscent of a Salisbury steak, obviously the texture is a little soft/mushy, but it was really good for a vegan version. The wife had the burger which she said was really good as well, surprisingly her race was on their coffee, which was aromatic and not the usual dull restaurant flavor. There are only a few tables inside so you will be super close to the other customers and it will be loud. The food is worth it though and it's byo! My friends and I all loved our entrees, but the apps were just okay. Ordered Brussels chips, corn fritters and fried ribs to share. Brussels were easy to eat, very airy and citrusy. Corn fritters were overly breaded and fried. Ribs were tender and the glaze was nice, but it only comes with 3 pieces and we were a party of 4. For entrees, I ordered the bbq'd oyster mushroom, which receives a 10/10. Delicious and a dish I am honestly still thinking about. The sides that came with the entree complimented the dish so well. If they have this on the menu when I return, I'd be tempted to reorder it again. My bf ordered the orecchiette, which had big chunks of lobster. Three of my friends and I were leaving an activity and looking for a place to eat. I noticed the reviews were good, and I called Gass and Main to see if they had room for us around 8pm. They said they didn't have room unless we wanted to sit in the kitchen. We said, "Let's do it!" The host was great. Very friendly. We got to talk to the chef a bit and watch her work. She was awesome and fun! Our server was great and took a picture for us. The food was solid! We loved the Brussels sprout chips (wow!). Burgers with salad (very tasty). And the deviled eggs (Heavenly!). Honestly, we would pass on the fries next time as they were just ok. BUT, all of the food heading out of the kitchen looked AMAZING! I wish we could have tried it all. We absolutely loved sitting "alone" as the only table in the kitchen. We will definitely be back to Gass and Main in the future and recommend it to friends. I really wanted to love it. It sounded like the quintessential local gem where the chef does amazingly special dishes. Sadly it wasn't for me. The snow crab rolls had perfectly buttered rolls, just the right amount of mayo and chives but there's a reason nobody else uses snow crabs - it's kinda bland and tasteless. The Gnocchi Mac & Cheese were probably kept warm in a pot and served in a bowl but were missing the burnt crusty top that you'd get from cooking it in the oven. The best dish was Uncle Dom's Big Salad which was legitimately good and had all kinds of flavors and fresh ingredients. There's warm cheese tortellini mixed in which felt like getting the prize in the crackerjack box when you bit into one - great! Brand new restaurant in Haddonfield that just opened last week. The name refers to a Las Vegas intersection where the chef and owner married their spouse. Came here today with my girlfriend for brunch. It's a small space with two rooms; the main dining room is tastefully decorated with rustic farm decor, and there is an additional room that overlooks the cooking and prep area. It was almost empty when we were there; there was only one other table of people throughout our meal. We ordered the chips with Vermont crème fraîche and caviar, the eggs Benedict and the lox eggs Benedict. The chips were warm and salty and perfectly complemented by the crème fraîche. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and the rosemary on the home fries was a really nice touch, but we both agreed our home fries were aggressively salted, to the point of being almost inedible. Also, the yolks of the eggs in both of our dishes were cooked too long so that they weren't runny. These are easy fixes, though, and overall it is a wonderful new addition to the restaurants in Haddonfield. Everyone who worked there was exceptionally friendly, including our server James, and we look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. read more
