We went in this morning for a Father's Day brunch and wish I never suggested it. We won't be back and recommend anyone else reading this to do yourself and favor and head down the street to the coffee shop instead. The food took forever, which it usually does but we still go since we normally like the breakfast food. The burrito finally arrived after 30 minutes. The tacos my husband ordered took another 10 minutes. My husband was less than thrilled with flavorless soft tacos that took 40 minutes to make. We decided to provide feedback because we've been here many times and expected more. Again, we regretted this as well. I don't know why we bothered because no one knows how to take honest feedback anymore these days. The young boy who portrayed himself as the manager (was in fact the busboy) was dismissive and but did offer refund, which we declined since that's not the reason we provided feedback. He couldn't handle someone trying to tell them how to improve instead of asking for something for free. It's crazy how someone doesn't want money is still treated as difficult. Then my husband takes the time from his day to speak with owner. He thought he had a constructive conversation, only to find the owner goes straight into his kitchen in front of customers and tells the young boy what my husband said. So unprofessional! They have an open kitchen and this guy thinks it's a good idea to speak with your employee now??? Little did they know while they were trash talking my husband, instead of appreciating the fact that he wasn't asking for money and only wanted gave valuable constructive feedback from repeated customers, that they all chose to turn it around and call my husband a jerk. I did call out that they need to be more careful about how they speak about customers and it was quite interesting to see an entire kitchen and at least 5 customers in line speechless and in shock! As they should have been. Like the rest of society these days, no one knows how to behave and be professional anymore. I'm beyond embarrassed for the owner and anyone affiliated with this restaurant. It's always a great moment for me when I find a place close to home that serves consistent, great tasting food with a fun personality and awesome service. Local Links is literally my ideal hometown food spot and I'm sure after only one visit it would become yours too! I've been here a handful of times and EVERY time I leave satisfied. I've tried 4-5 different things on the menu and every time I love the flavor combinations and balance to each burrito. My favorites are the Local and Breffest Burritos but you can't go wrong with a French toast burrito (yes you read that right) or their buffalo chicken burrito. Everything is made to order super fresh in house.. even the sausage! Speaking of the sausage, it's possibly the best sausage I've ever had. You can taste the diversity in its meat and flavor combinations even when it's packed into a flavorful burrito! Honestly, from top to bottom Local Links delivers. The coffee is local and brewed to perfection, the food is fresh and packed into great flavor combinations and they even have ALL YOU EAT TACOS!! Seriously, how can you get any better than that?! The service is a little slow because they prepare everything to order in house so just be prepared for that, but otherwise you'll be blown away by this local gem! After reading a bunch of comments about how good the cheesesteaks were here in a Facebook SJ Food Group I decided to give Local Ljnks a try. The cheesesteak was a super generous portion of quality meat, caramelized onions and cheesy goodness in a deliciously grilled seeded hoagie roll. I also enjoyed the bechamel based Mac and cheese side order (big enough for 2 to share) and the key lime pie was to die for! The owner, Joe was in the dining room and spoke to / thanked every patron who entered his establishment before they left. We got to talking a bit and I could tell that this guy gets it... he is personable, he is likable and it's evident that he loves what he does. 5 stars! read more

Burritos: since I can't remember the lunch burrito's name that I had I'll cut this short by saying opt for the sausage...I really like their links (PUN!!). Mine had peppers, onions, black beans and nice creamy sauce. Good spicy kick to it and the wrap was light. Mac and Cheese: your classic comfort food that if it's a side can be shared. Carb-a-rific Inside: seats 1-2 large groups via the family style farm table; six double seaters. 2 -5 outdoor seats. There is a lot local merchants that have their products sold here from olive oil to honey. People: my first trip in I felt kind less than welcome but anytime after my visits have been pretty chatty. I used to stop here regularly when I worked up the street. I enjoyed the coffee smoothie for a midday treat. But the owner is a jerk and he treats his young employees awful. One day, as I stood at the counter sharing pleasantries w the young lady making my smoothie, the owner interrupted us and made a sexist joke. I found zero humor and let him know. The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming....a real neighborhood experience but it was the service that took our dinner to the next level. I sit outside 2 doors down while my son takes karate. It always smells so good. I decided to order some food to go. Got 2 chicken burritos, chicken tacos, & a sausage peppers & onion sandwich. Down the street from my office so I'm a regular and I couldn't be more thankful that the crew at Local Links can whip up a variety of eats that taste great and don't make me feel terrible. My go 2s are the reverse nachos and the chicken tacos. There are lots of little sandwich shops but a few elevate past that and become legit restaurants despite the format. Support local business!! Right next to yoga rebellion so I get smoothies here on the regular. Owner is nice, gets to know people that come in. All I've had are smoothies (PBC is my shit) and the homemade muffins. I've heard the tacos are bomb, and sometimes someone's outside playing local music. Offerings are all made fresh and they also sell local products like handmade soaps, honey, etc. A little small but has outside seating. There cook asked if he could add a new mix he was toying with and I could not stop talking about after every bite. My gf thought the hotdog was one of the best she's had and she's a connoisseur for those things. The owner was their and we had a great conversation about the area and food in general. The second time we went early and I tried a breakfast burrito while she had.....a hot dog (surprise). Sadly there was a different cook and the food was disappointing. The burrito just fell apart since it was loaded down with so much of the mix and the hot dog was not made the same way. I certainly don't think each meal and each cook will be exactly the same but it was just waaaaay off. They source their sausage locally from Mitchell & Geno located in Philly, the burrito itself was good and filling. I think it was missing the house made pico. No doubt my morning goodies was delicious but a bit pricey which kind of makes me hesitate for a future return. The staff is friendly and gives great recommendations on what to order. They also sell different sausages by the pound, some house-made pastries, and other locally made goodies such as soaps, sweets, and honey. Oh almost forgot the most important thing: they brew Revolution Coffee from nearby Collingswood. No need to drive further down. This place might be pricey but looks to be of great quality. I stumbled upon this place while waiting for my kids to finish their music lessons a few store fronts down. I was overwhelmed by the smell of whatever was cooking. I decided to bring my kids here for dinner after their lesson and I have to tell you the food is amazing! I had their egg plant Parm and honestly it was the best I have ever had.
