The first time I visited, I tried their farmer's BLT and that was delicious (I give that a five star). Today, I ordered the chicken cutlet with kale and homemade Caesar dressing (I give this a three star). They used too much dressing so it was more saltier than I expected and maybe it would've tasted better on a seeded roll or wrap but overall the sandwich is decent. I also bought their chocolate chip cookies and these are worth buying again - right amount of chewiness and a hint of salt! I usually grab one for dinner and another for a future cold, wintry night. And don't forget their amazing baguettes - enough to feed 3 people for $1.99. Such a bargain for $6 and it really stretches into at least 2 meals. So far I've tried a couple of their soup flavors and loved them all. When I get home, I freeze one of the soups immediately, slice up the baguette into 3 portions, freeze two of them, and keep one for dinner with the soup, still piping hot from the store. Food: absolutely delicious! I expected the sausage egg and cheese griddle sandwich to be small but it was enough for at least 2 people, maybe 3! When I come back I would get coffee at a different local coffee shop and get food here. :) Ambiance: This establishment is a food market that is also sort of a cafe. They serve breakfast and lunch options (unsure about dinner). I came on a Saturday around 11am and it was super busy! In the back of the market there is a separate room to dine in, where you can take your food you ordered at the kiosk. :) Service: It was pretty busy when I came and the staff got straight to the point. My son who is a regular brought me here for lunch. What a delight! How I wish I were closer so I could be a regular too! Beautiful quality meats for very reasonable prices. I bought lovely made in house chicken, sage and ginger sausage, pork and mushroom sausage, and blueberry maple breakfast sausage for $7 a pound. I brought home a container of Italian wedding soup that was incredibly delicious - the stock was so rich in flavor, the meatballs were delicious and it was generous with vegetables. While we were there we ate lunch which was also terrific. I had the French onion focaccia sandwich - thinly sliced beef round, roasted sherry glazed onions with thyme, Gruyère, Cabernet garlic butter and arugula on everything focaccia. It was wonderful. My son had the brisket burnt end cheesesteak, which was utterly amazing. We got a side of the asparagus salad with bacon and egg in it, which was also very tasty. I can't wait to go back. It's all the locally sourced deliciousness you need under one roof from Revolution Coffee Roasters to Di Bruno Bros. I wouldn't be doing this review justice if I didn't mention the customer service. It is above and beyond. Don't feel comfortable shopping in the store? Give them a call and place your over the phone. They will call you when it's ready. Looking for something that they don't have? They will recommend a substitute. I was recently looking to purchase some andouille sausage for my red beans and rice. I had high Hope's for this place, but sadly, after multiple chances given, I have to say it is merely expensive sub par food. Last week I played $25 for a small garden salad, cold bahn mi, and container of port wine cheese. The bahn mi was the biggest disappointment, second to the price. It was the only bahn mi I've ever had that was prepared cold, and was sadly tasteless. But today I decided to give them another chance and ordered breakfast. This time it was much worse, and just a huge waste of money. While getting some pastries across the street my wife had noticed Haddon culinary market right where we were parked. We looked inside briefly and saw a plethora of amazing prepared foods and baked goods. Since we just had already gotten some pastries from across the street we decided to get some more because we're gluttons. Everything we tried was excellent. The bagel is freshly made in house and was tasty. The classico cake was the perfect size to share for 2 even eating so many other treats. I enjoy a good Jewish apple cake and this was very good, except I wish there was more apples inside of it. The chocolate chip cookie was large and perfect crispy around the edges. We most certainly will be stopping here again to try some more foods since they have a lot of delectable looking savory items, plus need to try some more sweet treats as well. read more

I have thought long and hard about this review. This place is truly something special to me and locals in the area. You cannot get the high level of quality, consistency and customer service anywhere else in the area -- except maybe their second store opening? Each item is hand chosen by their staff and everything is seasonal. They have hidden gems around the store that appeal to everyone. The thing in particular that really gets me excited when I come to visit, weekly, is their breakfast and lunch sandwich selection. The Haddon Sunrise contains local bread, a fried egg, bacon, tomato, avocado, spicy aioli and a whole lotta' love. Get that with a oatmilk latte and then chefs kiss. You can pick up a quick dinner, homemade sauce, or local fish of the week. They have tables for indoor seating and outdoor to eat your meal there and if you need anything made to order they are more than happy to help.
