Wow. Checking out Skyler's reviews and there are no recent reviews. So here's my cut. I can't recommend them. Their menu is very limited with no corned beef or pastrami, let alone Hot Capicola or Sopressata. I ordered a Roasted Turkey but it had no flavor. They use Dietz Watson meats (as most local shops do), so they should be at least equal. But the whole hoagie was tasted just of the bread. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Orders are all made to order. But they just fall short. With Hoagie shops on almost every corner, there are better choices. read more

As a 12 year old and growing up in the Italian deli business. This is before Sneeze guards, gloves, digital scales, and the internet. (And a few too many hoagies) I must say this place brings me back to being a child when friends and I used to go fishing at Traino's pond but before that we would hit up Jerry's Deli which is now a medical center behind the Meeting House 7-11. Jerry's used to have the freshest hoagie for about a buck and a 1/4. I will say Skylers brings me back to those days by serving up super fresh sandwiches made exactly like Jerry's. It's the only place when I ask for extra lettuce and tomatoes I actually get it! Skylers has to be the cleanest establishment I have ever seen, they have literally coined the phrase "you can eat off the floor, walls, and ceiling.... The hoagie was filing and good, but I'm personally not the biggest roast beef fan so I probably wouldn't order this again. My bf loved every bite of it! The soup was absolutely delicious. Just happened upon this place looking for soup near my place of employment. Very friendly staff greeted me when I walked in. Ordered the Greek salad with chicken. The salad was huge and all ingredients were fresh and crispy. I also ordered lentil with ham soup which I haven't tried yet, but looks amazing. Service was fast even during the lunch hours. It was good overall (fresh roll, tomatoes) but the chicken salad itself was too piecey or something. It had a pretty good taste though. Small quiet strip mall sandwich shop. We were in the area and took yelp suggestion. The staff was really nice. Only 3 tables so we ate in our car which wasn't a problem for us. Took a chance and ordered cheesesteak and chicken parm. Both sandwiches were excellent and fairly priced. Under $10 each and their regular hoagies were in the $8 range.
