I will NEVER give this place anymore business. The owner is very disrespectful and does not know how to communicate with customers in an appropriate manner. This was my first time having a sandwich here in a few years and I totally regret ever walking through those doors. I honestly should've just kept driving. I walked into the business at 11:00am (which was the hour that they opened), as per their posted signage. I greeted the owner and he replied "I'm not even opened yet, I'm only doing cold sandwiches. No cheesesteaks." I then replied "I'm assuming your fryers are also down?" He replied "Yeah, fryers are down". While he was making my two sandwiches, I attempted to make a friendly conversation with him about his new business location. I had informed him that on google, the address for his new location reflects the address of his old location. I told him that I had assumed they were no longer around, up until I saw the new location on the WHP, Berlin. He sarcastically replied back "Yeah, we moved locations in December of 2022, and I made it very clear to the public of our new address. You must've missed it". End of conversation.. Additionally, to have a successful business, you should always put your customers first and treat them with respect. I never heard of a business EVER closing their doors on customers when they run out of bread. First time here. Very close to my apartment and shocked I never knew about it in the 5+ years living in the area. I think I may have heard about it in passing - but I likely ruled it out because it's cash only (nothing personal I just simply almost never carry cash). That said - they do have an ATM inside if you're in a pinch, but I'm sure it charges and I've read other reviews that said $2). Anyway, plenty of parking outside off of a quiet street and seating for about 8-10, although this is definitely a grab and go joint. Service was friendly and I got my sandwich quickly. Ordered the diablo chicken cutlet sandwich, which is spicy chicken cutlet, sharp provolone and some type of veggie or pepper. It was solid. The roll had a good chew, Liscio's I believe with a seeded role. Good length, good amount of chicken. Nice spice on the chicken cutlet but I'd prefer a bit hotter but then again I admittedly tend to OD on the heat. The sandwich felt like it was missing something, so I added some condiments to jazz it up. Good sandwich overall but unlikely I'd get it again. Next time I would definitely order an Italian hoagie or a cheesesteak, both of which I bet are amazing here. Hopefully I get to come here again soon and update this review. This place is unbelievable! I went in to pick up my cheessteak and the employee behind the grill did not have a facemask on AT ALL! This is a direct violation of the executive order and facemask mandate. The owner who was behind the counter barely had his on and it was underneath his moustache, I asked the owner why he was not wearing a mask and he was very rude and said "do you want to order or not?". I tod him he was being rude and then the employee behind the grill said, "WATCH YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" Yes I was cursed at REPEATEDLY and the owner did nothing and didn't even tell his employee to stop. Phenomenal spot! I love this place, simply delicious hoagies! Inside is simple just a couple chairs and tables to eat at. The food is home run every time. My work usually orders from here. I've ordered the cheese steak and diablo chicken cutlet sandwich- the use quality meat and a great sesame hoagie bread. The people who work at this location are friendly as well, once you are done ordering, they are cool to speak to and converse with- they make some amazing sandwiches. I emphasize the diablo sandwich with extra long hits, spinach, tomato, and onion. They have, hands down, the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. And they're massive. This is going to be a bit long so I apologize now .. Sometimes you hear or experience terrible customer service of employees, etc who work at or own a business, but when you or one of your family members experience it first-hand, you get how it feels to try supporting a business and have them be COMPLETELY rude to someone. NEVER EVER again will I or anyone in my family order from or recommend this place. Today, my dad called to order sandwiches for him and my mom. When ordering, he ordered an "Italian hoagie" and told the guy "without mayo." After telling the person who answered the first sandwich he wanted, the guy responded to him "don't you ever order like that again, tell me what you want on it, not what you don't want on it." My dad is older and kind of set in his ways and used to ordering the same way I said above - because most hoagies come with lettuce, tomato, onions, salt, pepper and oregano, in my experience, and if you want hot/sweet peppers on it, they'll ask that. Anyway, he went to order the second thing and again said, "turkey and cheese hoagie with mayo." The guy responded "what did I just say to you?" What kind of person treats customers like this and thinks it's acceptable to talk to ANYONE that way?! If I had been there at the time my dad was ordering, I would've told the guy exactly what he could do with those hoagies and hung up. But he went through with the order and picked them up AND left a few dollars in the tip jar on the counter. My guess is he did that because he has respect for people unlike the jerk who took his order. You can be assured I'll let anyone and everyone know how he was treated when he called in the order and how disrespectful you may be treated when dealing with this place. read more

I've been wanting to try Jersey Joes since I moved to Jersey from Philly 6 months ago. My boyfriend and I were not disappointed! We got the cutlet Diablo and Buffalo style. The rolls are amazing and the cutlets..*chiefs kiss.* The sandwiches as a whole weren't sloppy or overly greasy, they were fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are pretty good.. This is very similar to primos.. They use the seeded rolls just like primos does.. They do do somethings different like offering the more traditional tuna fish mixed with mayo, but if you've been to a primos you get the idea.. I'd love to give this place a better rating- and based on the food it's probably a 3 star place.. I have to knock a star off because on 3 occasions they've been downright rude..
