First order here in years. Being a Friday night durning lent, my family felt the need to order meat-less. They landed on an eggplant parm sub. Pretty reasonable, could be a little fatter with an extra cutlet and cheese BUT comparable to the other local shops. Their second option was a tuna hoagie, with our choice of cheese or no cheese. That boy was stuffed! Fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion too! I order the chicken Caesar wrap with fries (for only a $1 more). A classic choice and it was good, not soggy which is critical for a wrap. It had fresh romaine lettuce, another critical ingredient to the wrap. Of course we ordered take out, and it was prepared very quickly considering it was the Friday dinner rush. All in all - would order again and most likely the chickie Caesar wrap will be in that order. read more

Ive ordered from here twice now. Both times I got wings and they were consistently large and really good. Also got a slice of Sicilian pizza and thought that was good too! The person I've spoken to on the phone now both times to put in my order has had a serious attitude. I've known my order both times so it's not like I had to ask any questions nor have I made her wait while I decided. I can put up with that for good food but I also don't mind ordering from somewhere else in the area to at least get someone pleasant to speak to. read more

Forget this place. I placed an order at 7:30. I called three flipping times when I realized it was now 9:00 and got no answer. I drove over and walked in and was greeted by the hipster behind the counter with we're not taking any more orders. I ordered a pizza with half pepperoni, we got home and noticed the pizza was full cheese, no pepperoni. No big deal honestly, We called Scottos to see if there was something we can do, whether it was get a new pizza or refunded for the pepperoni portion. They told us that we WERE NOT charged for the pepperoni, but they would replace the pizza but we'd have to give the original pizza back (which is gross) , my kids already started eating the pizza so that wasn't even an option, so we just let it go since they said we weren't charged. So we hung up and let it go, no problem, mistakes happen, if we weren't charged no big deal. My wife then proceeded to look at the receipt and guess who was charged for pepperoni?!? They flat out lied to us to keep the pepperoni charge, how ridiculous. It's the PRINCIPAL, has nothing to do with the pepperoni or the $1.81, you flat out lied to us. When I confronted the employee, they said they checked the pizza makers paper and it had no pepperoni on it, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULDNT CHECK THE POS SYSTEM FOR A CHARGE but check the pizza makers notes? Are you kidding me. Then he HUNG UP on me, I get that I was mad that you lied to me about the charge, then when I found out, you blame it on some nonsense and don't even go above and beyond to fix it after you lied. Worst customer service ever. We've been ordering from Scottos for years and they consistently forget to send parts of our orders and then meet you with annoyance when you call to let them know. Today they forgot to send 10 wings and salad dressing for our order - when we called back we were asked to pay another delivery fee and they were going to charge us for wings that would now be an hour late (that caused someone in our party to not have a meal to eat and that they forgot to add to our order). Scotto's Pizza really surprised me with my order because it was SO good . I ordered their fettuccine with pesto sauce and they made everything fresh. It was very tasty and came with a side salad and bread (which looks like a Sicilian slide w/o the cheese). We also noshed on a slide of pizza while we were waiting and I have to say it was quite sub-par only. Unfortunately, their lack customers on a Saturday PM would be a deterring factor for most people. Don't let that be your determining factor though. I am quite sure they make pretty good other foods as well, just don't necessarily get their pizza. ordered $114 worth of food. 90% of what I ordered was wrong. called scottos and they told me I had to call the delivery service like they did something wrong. from there the delivery service called scotty's and the told me they were deducting the delivery charge the tip and 25% off my order. that would be ok except 90% of my order was wrong. scotty's made it not the delivery service. Scotto's should man up and give me 90% of my money back. The delivery driver should not have lost there tip because they made it wrong. read more

I have not gone to this place in a while, but I can definitely tell that the quality of the food and service has gone down hill since the last time I was there. The food is not good. Bland, no real taste to it. On top of that, the service we had this weekend could only be described as bare minimum. This place is good for dates, family dinners or just hanging out with friends and getting something to eat. Pizza here is spectacular with the sauce not sweet and not to much of that tomato taste like other places. The crust is crunchy but not hard to eat with the right thickness. read more

I love nearby and periodically stop in to grab some garlic knots or something for dinner. This location is a thousand times nicer than the dump they were in by Kmart. I stopped in today for lunch with a family member. The pizza was disappointing to say the least. It looked fresh made but was luke warm. The crust was so thin it couldn't hold the weight of the cheese. I ordered Scotto fries (with cheddar, mozzarella and bacon with a side of ranch). The "cheddar" was something like Velveeta or Wiz. Great family run pizza place! This is the only place we order pizza from. I can't place an order here without getting an order of garlic knots! So good! The folks at Scotto's are great. They give back to the community by supplying the local youth football team with discounted pizzas for the snack bar. Gotta love a business that supports its local kids! read more

I just moved to South Jersey from Brooklyn about a year ago. I have to say after trying a few other places in the area, that Scottos had the best pizza by far. I can't stand the fake pizza-hut type fried pizzas, and papa johns tastes like ellios to me, so I can't bring myself to eat at those places. I REA LLY wish there was a Tony Balonies (in Atlantic City) in this area. If your ever in AC stop by and try Tonys. You wont be disappointed! Everything is made fresh! Scotto's is my favorite pizza / sandwich shop in the area. Whether i pick up a pizza for a quick dinner or cheese steaks for the family it is always fantastic. I always call ahead and my order is ready when they said it will be. All of the staff that i have had the pleasure to work with are always friendly and provide great customer service. The other great thing is, this being a family owned business the Barone's are always there and available to have a quick conversation. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The chicken seemed like shredded up thigh meat and the buffalo sauce was too hot and tasted like too much vinegar. The fries were the best part. We also ordered a cheese steak wrap. It was satisfactory. The sweet potato fries were bland and no sauce was offered with them other than ketchup. I think this place is only good for pizza, but I haven't tried that yet. I'm just assuming because mostly everyone around us was ordering pizza. read more

Ugh...this was an extremely poor experience for us. Understaffed on the wait staff front and way overstaffed in the kitchen with very little attention paid to folks dining on premises. Don't know if they make so much business that they don't care for their sit down diners. Received a flyer from these guys and decided to try them. After placing a delivery order, we were called back to be informed that we are 'not in their delivery area' - although we live in the same town. After we called back to inquire that they mean, their employee explained that they do not deliver to our apartment complex because of 'dangerous elements'. When asked to explain, she elaborated that they really meant 'we have too many Mexicans living in our complex. When my wife asked to speak to the manager, she was informed by the owner, 'Gino', that he and his brother who also own a pizza franchise don't deliver to local apartment complexes because they have too many non-whites and recommended we live somewhere better if we expect service because nobody will deliver here.
