First time trying Angelo's Pizza and was pleasantly surprised with everything that I ordered! The Angelo's Special Cheesesteak came with plenty of steak, green peppers, fried onion, mushrooms, and provolone. Very filling and delicious to the last bite! The onion rings were perfect. Some other places use too must batter and not enough onion...these were awesome and cooked just right! The petal sauce was a perfect compliment! I also tried one of their Bacon Cheeseburgers with Monterey Jack cheese...Fresh bun and well done nicely sized burger was delicious! Wish I tried Angelo's sooner! I'll be back! :) read more

Never been here before so my wife and I decided to try them. This location is very clean, very clean. There was no one in the store except the waitress behind the counter taking an order over the phone. After her call, she asked what we wanted and we ordered. While we waited I saw her box a pizza for delivery, the pizza didn't sit correctly in the box and rather than move the pizza slightly to accommodate it, she just cut the pizza and closed the box with the crust being pushed in. 10 minutes after ordering we were informed they didn't have what my wife ordered. Why was this not disclosed at order? Finally got our order and sure enough the box was closed on the pizza. Cheese and sauce everywhere. Will not be going back. Please hire someone that cares. read more

Oof...this is phenomenally good pizza. Ordered close to $100 in pizza for delivery to the local Moose Lodge #548. Several, and I mean several, members stated it was the best local pizza they've ever had. Many, by mere habit, ordered from Scotto's, and they ALL stated this pizza was exponentially better. Growing up in South Jersey, you come to expect good pizza. But, when you "discover" an amazing Local Pizza Joint, it's like hearing Mozart for the first time. Pathetic excuse of a cheesesteak. We placed an order for two cheesesteaks. And there was barely any meat in it. We called and spoke to Sarah the manager and she gave us an attitude that we complained. She didn't want to give any type on compensation or anything at all to accommodate future customers. She said she has to speak to the owner first before she can make any decisions. I mean what's the point of her being a manager? If she could barely manage a simple complaint. I was surprised to see Angelo's had only 7 yelp reviews so here I am! This is the best delivery pizza joint in the Berlin/West Berlin area by far. I should know...I've lived here 4+ years now and ordered my fair share of delivery. Most spots have been hit or miss, mainly miss, except Angelo's. I've ordered from here at least half of a baker's dozen times and I've never been let down. The food is consistently good. Pizza, sandwiches, apps, all of it has been good. Family owned place with good customer service. Even the delivery drivers are nice. Food arrives hot every time. If you're familiar with the famous Picalilly Inn in Shamong - this place has tails that are just as delicious without the 30 minute drive. The hot/honey sauce is crazy good. I'm convinced you could put it on a shoe and have it taste good. If you're getting something, particularly a sandwich, that sauce will make it better. My cheesesteak was decent...but dipping it into that sauce made it great. If you're in the area or just passing through, I recommend you eat here. You can dine in as well. read more

What's the opposite of a value because that's what I got. I ordered wings, jalapeño poppers, and loaded fries and none of it was good. I spent way too much for terrible food, over $45. The wings were over cooked and dry and had hardly any sauce on them. When you have to go to your fridge and grab the Frank's it's never a good thing. Your hands are supposed to be messy after eating wings. If they're not, that's also not a good sign. As for the loaded fries, they had that terrible shredded cheese in it instead of the cheese whiz. Not only that but there was supposed to be ranch on them according to the menu. Again, I had to use the rest of the ranch that came with the poppers to add my own. Bacon on the fries? Well there was some... lastly the poppers. These were the best of the 3 things but that's not saying much. You could tell these were cheap poppers. Oh and one more thing: I got blue cheese with my wings instead of ranch that I ordered. My 2 cents: King of Pizza is right down the street. Go there if you don't want to be disappointed. read more

Absolutely fantastic pizza! I work locally and sometimes it is hard to get out to eat for lunch. I order online, and they even allow for special instructions, if necessary. To date, all I've ordered is various kinds of pizza, but based on the selection I've had, I would love to try a variety of their food. (Pizza is just easier to order for a group of 6-8). My children and I visited Angelo's while waiting for our daughters basketball game to begin at Winslow High School. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles. My children ordered their favorite beverage "chocolate milk" the restaurant was out of milk, they ran out and purchased some instead of saying they were out (major brownie points) the service was friendly and quick. The wings were breaded and flavorful and the pizza was crispy and tasty. My children were happy and I was too. If I'm in that area again I will go back. read more

Been to Angelo's in Berlin over a dozen times and will continue to go back. Hands down the best pizza in the area. Try their new "Old Fashioned" because it's out this world. They also have a great wing sauce they call Zesty Garlic which I suggest trying. Finally their Black Bean and Chicken Tortilla soups are must haves. All other pizza restaurants in the area (KOP, Scotto's, etc.) cannot compare to Angelo's in quality and atmosphere. Highly recommended. read more

I have ordered from this location at least 8 times a month for about a year then I moved away. Was in the area decided to place an order salad an a cheesesteak. I arrived early walked in and waited. As I I was waiting I sat there and watched a gentleman making a salad and using his BARE hands in the salad adding stuff to it. All while touching everything around him his hair , his Bluetooth ear piece, then putting his hands back into the salad. 4.5 stars. Great place for quick Italian. Great pizza, we love both the red and white pizzas and the breakfast pizza is to die for. Never had "traditional" before Angelos and of course it's delicious. Their honey bacon wrap is to die for. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Not a fan of their style buffalo pizza. Their sweet hot sauce is good on some things but doesn't work for me for their buffalo pizza. Love their wraps and cheesesteaks. Haven't tried their new paninis yet but they are always introducing new delicious things. 5 stars for the staff, 4 stars bcuz they are a bit on the pricier side. I called this place for the first time yesterday and ordered a pizza for delivery, which was great. The pizza was delicious and it arrived in less than 25 minutes. I called again today and was told by a manager that they do not deliver to Berlin (they are IN BERLIN). I told her that I had just ordered yesterday and they delivered and she proceeded to tell me they never should have taken my order. I was calling tonight to place a large order, probably $50 or more, and I order delivery about twice a week so they lost a great customer. I am only 7 miles away and you guys don't deliver? Ok then. I know that south jersey doesn't really know good Italian food, but most often it's edible. Angelo's pizza was chewy thin crust, not crispy at all. The cheese all came off in one bite and was like chewing on rubber. I can get better grade cheese from the supermarket. The wings were soggy. Like eating raw skin. The sauce was just Frank's Red Hot. The boneless wings or "tails" as they call them, were big slices of chicken breast. Very dry!! And the sauce on those was tasteless. The blue cheese dressing to go with them was a container of mayonnaise with cheese pieces in it. And the marinara tasted like Prego or Ragu. I used to go here all the time when it was stll Frank's Time out for the Chicago style pizza which was really good. Haven't been there in about 2 years. Was in Berlin visiting some friends and called them up to order the Chicago pizza and wings. The pizza was horrible. They burnt my pizza and put my wings on top of the pizza box so by the time I got home all my toppings were stuck to the top of the box. I was excited to finally get my chicago style pizza only to be let down when I got home. my biggest complaint was that they burnt my pizza. I will never go there again.
