Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday at 1:00. Ordered pizza steak deluxe, onion rings, fountain soda (just under 20 bucks). I decided to eat-in. Place could use a remodeling but it's clean and had free fountain soda refills so beggars can't be choosers. Food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Served smoking hot. Onion rings were a little bit overcooked and the frying oil was in need of changing, but no need to send them back. Pizza steak deluxe was spot on.... a 9 out of 10 sandwich. Way to go Sollena's!!! I'll be back for a repeat for sure. Maybe I'll just do chips in place of the onion rings. Hopefully the pizza is as tasty as the pizza steak. I'll report my review in the near future. Tried Sollena's for the first time tonight after reading the previous positive reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. I purchased two pies: a plain sicilian and a white traditional pie with spinach, broccoli and tomatos. Both were very good. To me, the crust makes or breaks the pie. The sicilian's crust was thick and cooked to near-perfect crispness, not doughy or undercooked at all. The traditional white pie with veggies was equally tasty, however, I wish the crust was cooked just a little longer. It was not doughy at all, just not as crisp as I prefer. Both pizzas were seasoned well and tasted great. I will definitely be back for more. I am looking forward to trying their pizza again as well as some of their sandwich offerings. If Sollena's stays consistent on my second visit I will definitely boost my rating to five stars. read more

This was my first experience with Sollena's. I ordered take out and went and picked it up, even though they offer delivery, there was a fee and an extra 1/2 hour wait so I wanted to go. The place is small, no sitting area - not that this is bad, just sharing fyi. We ordered every "fat" sandwich on the menu, which are new items to the store apparently. They needed 1/2 hour to put together the 5 sandwiches, which I felt like was a long time, but anyway. The food was really good - just could have used some extra sides of sauces, maybe some marinara, or ranch/blue cheese. Overall okay experience though, we would go back! read more

Pizza. I only ordered through grub hub for a Sicilian slice, which are delicious. They didn't have Sicilian slices and sent a plain slice without asking. The mozzarella sticks were oddly hard and gross, they even tasted bad after reheating, Tuna club soggy and gross, fries old tasting, poppers were good. New Years we order a pizza from Sollena's Pizza. We had order from here several times but for whatever reason this was the worst pizza ever. I had a terrible stomach ache all night after eating it. This morning my son came down and wanted a slice and said the same. He loves Pizza from here but this one is the worst. I don't know what went wrong but will be thinking twice about ordering from here again. Ordered pizza twist (fried with extra sauce that was on the side), baked calzone and boneless buffalo wings. Went for pick up. First thing I noticed was the restaurant didn't smell like, well, food...should of smelled garlic, cheesesteaks grilling, pizza, shouldn't I? Then I saw the see through container of cooked steak on shelf over the grill. Not what I ordered, so I'll let you judge that. That, by far, was the worst $28 I spent on take out. The $10 boneless wings were that fake white sponge meat you find in below par frozen food. And burnt. Into the trash they went. Pizza twist was SO greasy-wrapped it in foil so the grease had no where to go. Cheese inside was poor quality-greasy and no flavor-barely any sauce inside to counter it. Sauce on the side was too small for the size of the twist (which went into the trash as well). And the calzone. Dough was raw inside, greasy cheese and the ham was just disgusting-cheap, fatty, wet nasty boiled ham all bunched in the middle. This is our go-to pizzeria. We have many choices nearby, but this is our place after trying other local places recommended to us. I love their white veggie pizza (loaded with fresh veggies - many other places use frozen, and you can definitely taste the difference). We also regularly order a plain pie, calzone, and/or cheesesteaks. The only items we have tried that we weren't that impressed with are their "fat sandwiches" - they aren't loaded the way a true fat sandwich would be from a real grease truck. But even so, they are fresh and tasty. I'm really not sure what else can be said about a pizzeria that would set it apart from what everyone says about any pizzeria, but we are loyal customers, and appreciate Sollena's quick delivery and consistently delicious food. Would not have known where it was located if I hadn't googled this place to get directions and a decent review. The Fat Sandwiches were very good and reasonably priced. Although not a fully packed torpedo roll as your traditional grease truck Fat sandwich, this was just perfect...not too much or not too little...Pizza was excellent!
