I'm channeling my inner Mandolarian here, "this is the way." I've had a lot of pizza, and I highly recommend checking these guys out! Another Instagram account I've been following for quite a while has been this mobile pizza truck. I've been in love with their content of the wood fired oven and the pizza's that they've been showing off. Follow their page to see where they will be on any particular day. Here, I caught them at Bonesaw Brewing Co. in Glassboro. First off, Brett and his team are a bunch of cool people with great personalities that genuinely love what they do and are having a lot of fun doing it! If there's ever a group of dudes you'd want to crack a beer with at the end of a hard day, these guys would be your crowd. Aside from that, they are putting out some amazing pies. I got a plain with half sausage and jalapeno as well as the grandma. If you think these are burnt, well, you may just be used to convection oven pizza. This char from the wood fire oven was perfect, just how I love a well-done pizza. The crust is thin, the ingredients are quality, and a beer to wash it all down was just the perfect compliment. Pizza stands are not usually a place I'd take a stop at, but I did and I'm a little picky when it comes to pizza. These guys nailed it for me........at a pizza stand! I tried out two different pizzas, one with jalapenos and ricotta and the other was a cheese steak pizza. Both had a very great flavor profile. The only thing I'd adjust is to add more jalapenos, :) I'll also say that the service was also very good. Definitely a returner for me. read more

I recently visited Bonesaw Brewery for the first time a couple of weeks back. Although, I had eaten pizza twice that weekend prior to my visit to the brewery, I was told by a couple of the staff members that I had to try this pizza. I stepped outside, walked over to the food truck and immediately took note that there was an actual wood fired oven attached to the truck. I was then greeted by owner/pizza maker Brett. As someone who is working to perfect the art of homemade pizza making (sans pizza oven), I struck up conversation with Brett and picked his brain for a bit. He proved to be a super cool guy who is clearly dedicated to the art of making the perfect wood fired pizza. I took a look at the menu and ordered the Grandma pizza to split with my buddy. The pizza was ready about 10 minutes later and it did not disappoint. It all starts with the crust which was cooked to the perfect level of doneness. The sauce was not too sweet or too tart - perfectly balanced. The mozzarella cheese on top was delicious -not too salty and not too much. But the icing on the cake (er pie) was Brett's use of breadcrumbs - something you don't come across often. We devoured this pizza in no time and both agreed that it was one of the best pies we had eaten in quite some time. We also got wind that there was an off-menu pie - 3 cheese bacon and honey. Having already gotten a taste of greatness, we ordered the bacon pie next. Mozzarella, provolone, and cheddar topped with bacon and scallions, drizzled with honey - well there's simply no explanation needed. It was exceptional and you'll just have to try it for yourself. I found this gem by accident. What a delightful & delicious treasure I found!The wood burning pizza oven surprisingly on this mobile vehicle sets it apart from even the brick & mortar pizza shops. Their pizzas are amazing & the service is just so friendly. I have tried the traditional & honey bacon and there were enjoyed by my whole Family. I actually returned the following week for more because they are that good. If you enjoy a thin crust flavorful pizza, you need to head over to this fantastic spot.
