I paid and authorized $69.83 for a pizza pickup order through the SLICE app. The order was 10 to 15 min late though showing order completed and ready for pickup on the app. The food was fine. No complaint there. As I'm sitting at home with my family and enjoying my food, I get an email from PayPal that my order was upcharged an additional $1.23 with no explanation or authorization on my part. This coming on the heals of screwing up my previous order of a white pizza and giving me a red sauce pie instead. Additionally, I ordered and paid for extra white sauce on that previous order to which their claim is there is no sauce on a white pizza, but you still had no problem collecting the extra $4 and change through the SLICE app option for extra sauce. You made it partially right by redoing the previous order and letting us keep 4 slices of the original red pie for the wait. However, as I've already pointed out in the most recent order I received an unpleasant surprise of an unauthorized $1.23 upcharge. I suspected fraudulent tipping practices, but that was incorrect. See update. The charge is now in dispute. Needless to say I hope that $1.23 was worth it because after 17 years of business you are now banned from my home. My next visit will probably be consumer affairs. Update: I spoke with a SLICE representative (Vicky) and the reason given for the upcharge by Antoninos was the grilled chicken was undercharged. Their mistake. One problem. When I paid for the food at POS on SLICE a contract was drawn up for $69.83. As such the contract was broken by Antoninos and SLICE enabled them to do this. Antoninos can charge what ever they want back to your card if they claim a mistake according to SLICE. That's illegal in my opinion and all the more reason to go to Consumer Affairs now to have this investigated.. As I pointed out to Vicky at SLICE, what if Antoninos said the chicken was $100, you'd back charge my card for that amount? No comment on that of course. Additionally, as I originally wrote this update they still hadn't updated the price of the grilled chicken on SLICE. It is days later and they have updated the grilled chicken price. These bad business practices have to end. Pricing transparency should be the norm. This has the potential to be an absolute racket. I've worked in retail a long time ago and if I ever charged a customer one price for something and went back and recharged it because I made a mistake, I'd be fired on the spot. I've attached pictures of my SLICE conversations, original receipts, demonstration of no changes to the chicken price at the time of conversation with SLICE and owners original responses. Each time I order Onion Rings I request them in just a paper bag because otherwise, they put them in foil and then a bag and they are soggy when they arrive. what is the point of a deep frited ring if they are soggy when delivered. So today, I asked for just a poper bat (as usual). they came in a white bag that had a wax coating, inside a paper bag. I called and they offered to send a replacement. They came EXACTLY like the last. I called and the person on the phone just kept repeating the type of bags they had and not hearing me at all. I admit I got frustrated because she kept repeating and not hearing me. So i did yell, shut up. Not my best moment. And she hung up on me. At the second call for the soggy rings, her response should have been "I am so sorry how can we make it up to you" instead of telling me multiple times about the types of bags they use which resulted in my outburse. read more

Ordered from here for the first time and I've lived in town for many years. Ordered a few Sicilian slices and a pepperoni roll just to try it. I am very particular about my pizza. The quality was very high on the ingredients and very tasty. Although, the slices were small it was a good value at $3.50 per slice. If they raised the prices, I would reconsider it unless they cut the slices bigger! The pepperoni roll was just okay, nothing to write home about. This was easily the worst pizza I've ever had. Being burnt and also soggy this pie is the worst of both worlds only achieved by the oven being far too hot. The topping range from bland, tasteless, canned, and wrong. The pepperoni was bagged, the mushrooms were canned, the peppers were frozen and the sausage wasn't there substituted by the restaurant for shredded chicken without consent. All of that is compounded by it being ludicrously expensive, about 3 times more than a chain pizza restaurant, and ridiculously tiny making its awful quality sting even more. Im downgrading by one star - my tastes have changed over the years and my bf has introduced me to varied and better pies. My new favorite is Papa's in Trenton. Wow! Anyway, I do like Antonino's sauce (my dad says it reminds him of good old fashioned kind he enjoyed as a teen) & doughy pie. Tonight's pie had a bit too much sauce on it though. My daughter recommended Antonino's after telling me she went there quickly for her lunch break one day. She said the food was soo good. I'll take her word. So last night before the Phillies game I decided to place an order. I ordered two cheesesteaks and cheese fries. From the first interaction calling Antonino's, the girl on the phone was soo sweet and showed great customer service. When I went to pick up the food she was also super friendly. So nice to encounter as a few of the places nearby the people are so stressed they are grumpy. Anyhow, the cheesesteaks were DELICIOUS and so were the fries. I go here for lunch each and every Saturday and Sunday (and days off from work). Most people do take out but they have 4 or 5 booths to eat at which I do. Not only is the pizza the best I've ever had but the staff is the nicest staff I've ever encountered. I moved to this area almost 2 years ago and have been ordering from a different pizza place. After a bad experience with some not-so-fresh pineapple, we decided to try something new. Antonino's came up on Google as being "near me" so we tried it - ordered through GrubHub. The order came fast, the pizza was delicious (boyfriend lives in Philly and said this is the best NJ pizza he's had in a long time), and the pineapple was FRESH, which does not always happen! We will definitely be ordering from here for all of our pizza needs! Update Dec. 2015: I've ordered a few pizzas (always fresh and delicious) and now that I've discovered they're on grubhub I find myself ordering from here all the time, which is a little shameful on my part but hey, the food is good! Other than pizza, I can vouch for the onion rings and the regular hoagie. The fries aren't really my kind of fries (crinkle cut, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside), but that may just be due to having them sit around waiting for delivery. This is a hidden gem in Blackwood, NJ. The pizza is the best by far in the area and the wings are always done right with the carmelization in the oven. Every time I order through the phone grub hub answers and I've ordered over the phone twice now. Both times they screwed up my order. No one offers to replace the items or offer a refund. The people from grub hub don't understand English very well. They have no idea how to take an order. So as a result Antoninos looses another customer because of this. This is one of my top 2 pizza places ever. I make a 25 min drive just to get there food. They have some amazing customer service. Have many workers in the back always moving to guarantee food gets out on time and takin time to stay delicious. I recommend this place 100%. I always get there hot wings. Keep in mind that there hot wings and buffalo sauce wings are 2 different sauces. I always get the hot wings which are spicy but I love em! I'm always afraid to try new pizza places, especially after I've found ones I love (Sal Vito's in Voorhees for example, or Scotto's in Clementon), but sometimes you just don't feel like driving, ya know? The pizza by the slice is mainly what I've gone here for in the past. It's good, but not great. They do seem to have a loyal customer base as they are always busy. Tons of takeout orders, tons of in store orders, tons of pickup orders, especially on the weekend. However, I have never felt rushed to order at the counter, and the staff is extremely courteous and friendly. That said, the pizza here was just okay. They also screwed up our takeout order once. We ordered a plain pie and came home, opened the box, and literally had crust and marinara -- huh?! I forgive though, but on the rare occasion that I want pizza, I'll probably go somewhere else unless I am super hungry and don't want to wait. read more

The one and ONLY thing that made me give this place more than one star was the awesome service & a really good handful of fries I took off my friends plate.
