The cheesesteak & fries were perfection...just what you want. And don't pass up the zeppoles! Love this place...super welcoming & can't wait to come back. 100% recommend! read more

Worst pizza I've ever had. Ordered a large pizza with half mushroom. I asked to have the pizza extra well done and when i got it home it looked barely cooked. I couldn't even pick up the slice because it just glopped over and the cheese and mushrooms just slid off. When i pay $24 for a pizza i don't think it's too much to ask for a well done pie. What's so hard about that? This is the second time ordering from this place, there won't be a third. Do better. read more

Terrible service owner constantly doesn't want to deliver at 6pm on the weekday when I contact him only when I have a friend call after to ask for delivery then there available. I tip drivers good and spend sometimes i'm forced to spend extra very unethical establishment. They will no longer and haven't been getting my money piss poor service read more

Very disappointed with Johnny Longhots. We've been going there for years but was not the least bit impressed today. One other patron was in the restaurant while we were there. While searching for a clean table, we noticed all the employees were on their phones. 3 of the fountain soda flavors were not working. We watched an employee stick his face in a dessert package and eat it without utensils. We had to listen to that same employee use foul language during the 20 minutes we were there. Our visit was not pleasant and the owners should be ashamed of themselves for this type of behavior and quality of service. read more

Johnnys longshots is by far the best spot in town, their atmosphere feels like your right at home, the service was amazing the staff are amazing and by far have the best service near the boardwalk. the food 10/10 I will be coming back tomorrow for more. best spot in jersey! read more

One of my go-tos in the area for a good cheesesteak. I tried visiting in person this time and had a nice experience! Order at the counter and grab yourself a seat. I prefer getting the cheesesteak wraps. Seating inside is ample and comfortable. Always had good service with a friendly smile. If you do not like spice or heat, be sure to mention NO longhot peppers (they come standard in many of their sandwiches) read more

We ordered DoorDash from Johnny's, and the food arrived hot and ready to enjoy. My girlfriend had the chicken cheesesteak, which was pretty solid. The chicken was well-cooked and chopped, as you'd expect from a typical cheesesteak, though it could've used a bit more cheese. I tried one of their new paninis, the Ricky's Special, and it was absolutely worth it. The seasoned pressed bread, paired with ham, mozzarella, and chipotle aioli, was delicious. I'll definitely be ordering that again. The fries, however, could use an upgrade. read more

My wife and I went out for a quick bite looking for a different cheesesteak place. It was around 8:30 on a Sunday night, and while mostly everything else was closed, Johnny Longhots popped up in our search. It was a good find and Jay's service was impeccable. The cheesesteak was really good, Caesar salad with perfectly grilled shrimp was delicious. The garlic knots are complimentary with a bottle of water. Great experience - thanks Jay! read more

Great pizza! I ordered takeout and the order took roughly a half hour to be ready. The grandma pie was great! Like others said, the sauce is on the sweeter side but overall very delicious! We ordered a plain pie as well and it was good, nothing amazing. Definitely will go back to get the grandma pie! read more

Love the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak! Comes with plenty of meat and cheese but sometimes lacking in sauce. My husband always gets the Brooklyn pizza which is square in shape, crispy and flavorful. read more

Probably my favorite pizza jawn in the area. Always consistent pies, huge menu for everyone to find something to eat. Great special slices always available. Great service and inside is nice. BYOB! read more

Excellent first experience, ordered a meatball grandma pie, if you prefer a sweeter sauce than this is for you I loved it could be a little thicker though. Pastina and chicken soup - fantastic tasted homemade.I like both but nj Just so everyone knows in case it matters to you this version is a tomatoes based soup not a chicken broth..but very very good ! Chicken parm sandwich - wouldn't order again the chicken was soft and so was the bread very similar to what you'd find at subway. Gyro- excellent better than most places ! read more

Tried this place for first time. Ordered an Italian hoagie and a turkey hoagie. The price was reasonable, the quality of the meats and cheeses were as good as or better than any other hoagie house. The ONLY draw back were the rolls. They were doughy instead of crispy. Had the rolls been like some others, I would gladly give them 5 star rating. Great place for last minute orders and friendly staff. Next time I will try the pizza. It appeared to be of same high quality. read more

Disappointed. Pizza arrived cold. To be fair, we ordered through slice. The pizza was very rubbery/chewy and seemed underdone. To the point that I had to cook the pizza more in my oven. The wings didn't come with the sauce on them, which is okay but the chicken was hard, almost petrified. My 11 year old said it wasn't good too. We have two pizza places we love but didn't want to drive and we're looking for a new place. They have a lot of positive reviews so I was very surprised. read more

Was literally the worst cheesesteak I had ever eaten. The bread was stale on the ends and soggy in the middle and on top, I'll admit it was takeout so it sat for 15 mins but still. The beef was over cooked and chewy and dry. Not enough cheese. The onions were sparse. Wanted so bad to love it coming off a 24 hr fast. Drove by so many times and love the name and sign but complete disappointment. read more

I love this place...they're right up the street from us so they've been our go-to for pizza, cheesesteaks, wings etc. never been disappointed by Johnny's and the prices are reasonable. read more

I used to frequent this place for lunch until they started adding a surcharge for credit card payments. By law it's supposed to be posted on the menu, but they only have a small sign on the side counter that's easily missed. It's a ridiculous way to run a business if you can't cover the cost of actually doing business! read more

The food is delicious...BUT they are SO SLOW. It takes almost an hour to get your food even if all you order is a cheesesteak and some fries. Doesn't matter if it's pickup or delivery, your gonna wait FOREVER. read more

Alright, first off let me preface this by saying that I ordered from the Voorhees location but for some reason they're not on yelp so I picked the next closest location. So maybe take this recipe with a grain of salt. Results may vary. I usually wait until I've get a cheesesteak, pizza and wings from a pizza joint before I give them a review because I think it's important to be able to highlight the strengths and weaknesses. Let's start with the former. Strengths. Their cheesesteaks were some of the best I've had. I swear every other pizza place uses the same template when making a cheesesteak. Dry meat, mid roll and base their cheese amount like it's coming out of their paycheck. Not Johnny Longhots. Embedded in a delicious seeded roll laid a ton of well-seasoned, juicy meat and plenty of cheese. Every bite was an experience. I'll put it up against any south Philly cheesesteak. It's not fair to call it a weakness because it's really not. But, the pizza was...pizza. It wasn't mind blowing but it was good. I feel like this was any pizza from anywhere. Although whoever cut it must be half blind because the sizes were all over the place. I get there's some variation but c'mon. Wings were good. Got the hot and honey sriracha. Plenty of meat and sauce. Can't really complain. Thank god they don't bread them like some savage places. read more

I just tried this place for the first time today. Everything is delicious. I couldn't even eat half the food. The steaks are tender. The garlic parmesan wings are delicious. The onion rings and sauce are delicious. I will be trying this place again. Next time I'll ask for military discount...I forgot this time. Everything was perfect. The only thing was that they forgot to give me the ranch dressing for my wings. read more

I have been wanting to try Johnny Longshots for quite awhile and I finally found the time to stop in and chow down on a cheesesteak. I will definitely be back to try another round of cheesesteaks as I believe the one I received was a bit off. The meat and roll were great from what I could taste. I say this because the cheesesteak was saturated with cheese wiz. I love wiz, but I honestly could barely taste anything else on the sandwich because of the amount of wiz on the sandwich. I have had plenty of cheesesteaks in my day, but none had this level of cheese. The customer service was incredible with the workers conversing with me and being on top of everything. read more

Thank you for starting to deliver!! We ordered cheesesteaks - one with long hots and whiz and the other with chicken, fried onions and American cheese. We also ordered the cheddar bombs with jalapeño- yum!! They were perfectly crispy and savory. Both steaks were delicious - I had more bites of the whiz with long hots because it seemed more moist and flavorful, but it could also be that I enjoy eating what other people order so idk. This is a great location to go to if you are looking for a local pizza/sandwich shop. They have daily lunch specials and they are very reasonably priced. The wraps and pizza are really good. The service is also always very good. I would recommend to anyone in town, or any local looking for a good quick stop. The store is also always clean and obviously well read more

Pizza is great!! Lot of choices as well!! I have been here several times and food quality is consistent.

I got the cheesesteak. Free fries Tuesday so I lucked into that. funny tidbit, I was sitting in parking lot of shopping center that use to be Garden State Race Track trying to decide between Phil's and Johnny's. I decided on Johnny's because I thought it was 'Longshots" not 'hots.' Fun vibe for a strip mall complete with a painting of Sly and Zuko. Very good Cheesesteak. read more

Food is usually good, but tired of getting wrong order. Showed up at the store this time to pick up & they made the wrong thing. I waited while they made what I ordered, got home, and it was wrong AGAIN. If you don't want to pay attention then I don't want to give you my business. read more

This is a really great pizzeria with a bold atmosphere and a central location. I often stop here on my way back from Philly to Toms River. The prices are very reasonable, and they have different specials at different times. The pizza is really daring, but I think it's delicious. I like how you can refill your own sodas at the soda fountain, too. The owner/operator seems really involved and cares about his business. read more

Absolutely outstanding. Just about everything except for one kind of soup has been excellent. Here are my notes that I've kept each time I try something new: Great cheese ravioli in tomato basil; great veal parmesan sandwich; very good wings; great chicken parm pizza; great salads; mediocre chicken pastina; excellent Caesar; good mozzarella cheese sticks; very good fries; very good cheese steak; great regular and Sicilian pizza This place is a gem. It's consistently great. Best place of its kind in the area and I've tried them all. read more

Listen, Johnny Longhots has it going on. Let's make this quick and to the point. Great food Nice staff Great specials Lunch specials are large and cheap Good pizza Good wraps Chicken parm sandwich (you're welcome) I'm knocking down a point because a few times we dined in on a Friday night, we waited FOREVER for food. So we just do take out and it doesn't seem to take as long. read more

Cheesesteak w/0-P, delicious fully loaded with steak that's Philly Style. The French fries were abundant. The two items will feed two people. Maybe you won't be Full but you'll fill the void. Worst cheesesteak ever, ordered extra meat still prepared sparsely and with thin dry meat. Took one bite and returned it but only got a partial refund minus the fountain soda. I'm in visiting from VA but grew up here and only get to partake in a delicious CS a few times a year so such a let down and inconvenience very disappointing. Suggest go to Chick's in Cherry Hill for the best and Franco's in Marlton for closer drive next best real cheesesteak. read more

We checked out the new restaurant in Marlton last night and were very pleased! The owner - Joe - was very friendly and clearly cares about his business. The food was delicious! Even my very picky New Jersey born and bred dad commented on how good the pizza was :D The environment is casual, but fun, and has a lot more seating than most "Pizza by the slice" type sit downs in South Jersey. The hours are good too - open later than some other places nearby. Go check it out! read more

Since moving to the area back in May we had discovered this place and made it our go-to for Steaks, Cutlets, Hoagies and pizzas! After trying out the chicken parm (with vodka sauce - Amazing) last week, we decided to use them for our catering order for a big party Sunday and we are sooo happy we did!! We ordered meatballs and Penne vodka trays and could not have been any more impressed with the food! The trays were huge and packed to the brim and we received so many compliments on how amazing the food was, especially the meatballs!! And on top of the delicious food, the prices were SO affordable for catering, the service was excellent (they delivered everything hot and exactly when we had askedl)! We will definitely be ordering from here next time we have any sort of event!! read more
