    Tall stack o pancakes. Perfect.

Outside of a traditional diner not sure where you can order a legit stack of pancakes and wings anyway you want them with your choice of hot and sweet sauces at the same time ( and a Ship Bottom beer on draft). We were seated quickly on a Saturday night even with the Flyers on and the food came out really fast which is solid for the little ones that may accompany you. Zapper sauce was tasty and had the kick that was advertised. Minimal sweat outside of the face tackling just 5 of em. Wings were breaded and meaty so no complaints there. The place is massive and it looks like they got the staffing to keep it up even when it's busy. Good for them ... I hope they open up more of these joints.

Went here for the first time on a Thursday morning. I liked that you can order whatever on the menu at anytime the restaurant is opened. I got the watermelon mimosa. It was ok but it wasn't my particular preference. Service was fine. The stir fried chicken was just ok. I did not care for the amount of chili sauce on it.

Stopped in on the morning of the 4th of July. Wanted breakfast and coffee and we came to the right place! Our waitress was awesome! Friendly and personable-the best combo! My friend and I both ordered the same thing-chicken on a waffle with sausage gravy. It was so good!! Oh and the coffee comes in big mugs! Loved it! This was my second time here and I'll be back!

Such a fun chicken restaurant! A large restaurant where you can enjoy food with the family, or watch any sports games happening. And all of their food is available all day long -- I ordered my "swamp sauce" tenders at 10am! They have 18 sauces, plus dry rubs, available. The "swamp sauce" I ordered my tenders to be tossed in was a sweet Cajun sauce - perfectly sweet and spicy! Very rich in flavor. The chicken was well-cooked, very juicy and tender and delicious. The fries were crisp and good as well. My daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancakes, which they did not skimp out on the chocolate chips. She loved them, as well as her bacon. Our server was so friendly, very knowledgeable, and our food came out hot, fresh, and quick. I would love to go back and try more of their food!

After all the terrible reviews I guess we were lucky we had great service from LJ and we enjoyed all our food and drinks. I would say the libations could have been stronger, I didn't taste any alcohol at all. The place is super cute, I like the fun aesthetic and will definitely be back to try breakfast/brunch items. 8/10 overall

We old timers from Beach Haven knew Chicken or the Egg as the somewhat bizarre breakfast/lunch joint that made customers sign a liability release before participating in a Ludicrous Chicken Wing Eating Contest. Many of us accepted the challenge and promptly lost our shit when the spice quotient was so off the charts that it blew out our mouths in flames. The newer CHEGG in Marlton is a lovely hangout, more sports bar than full blown wing spot, still capable of blowing you up, but less dependent on that gimmick to bring you in the doors. The menu is broad and deep, with plenty of choice any time of day. My son and stepson still wanted to try the killer wings, but were smart enough to order real food as well if the Ludicrous Wing contest fell apart, as it inevitably did. One had a Turkey Wrap, and the other a Standard Burger and French Onion Soup. Those five conflagrationary wings proved too much to consume even with multiple glasses of milk to extinguish the fire, came home as three, with full episodes of gasping, sweating, tearing, moaning and running to the restroom. Their other food was fine, if not exceptional, and my Farmers Breakfast Melt (eggs, sausage, ham, onion, pepper, cheese) in a bowl, actually a quite good first meal of the day. Better than I recall available in Beach Haven. So, the Marlton shop is an upgrade for sure, with plenty of space in either large barroom or separate dining areas. Colorful, loud rock, and friendly servers in black Ts, making the experience as attractive as possible. Although close to an hour from home in Bucks, worth the trip to Jersey for the fun and flames. We agreed we would come again, despite the $100+ price tag for the three of us without a bar tab.

Stopped for lunch. Forgot to take pictures of our salads but they were delicious. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad which came with two boneless chicken breast fried and tossed in the sauce of your choose. I picked medium which was had just enough heat without taking away from the Buffalo flavoring. We sat outside which was lovely on a cool Saturday afternoon. They have a large outdoor section with even a bathroom so no need to go inside for anything. Service was good, quick with a refill and didn't feel rushed.

Steakhouse brunch burger. Similar to the Chegg burger but a single 1/2 lb patty instead of two 1:4lb patties.

Solid experience overall. We agreed it was average at three stars, but it was definitely a step up from the last time. The food was good today. Slow start, we actually debated leaving because our server took way too long to make initial contact. Then, the server spilled one of our drinks on the table when they arrived. It was handled promptly and they were apologetic and alll. It was not a problem. Food came out and was good! Burgers were cooked well done. We were not asked for a doneness temp. Prefer medium. But they were good. Nice brioche buns, crispy bacon, fried eggs were just cooked with nice runny yolks. Tater tots were perfection. Crisp and hit. I will return,, and maybe they can make it up to four stars!

When: Tuesday Morning Service: seated right away and waitress was attentive and able to answer questions about the menu. Food: ordered a create your own omelette and it was packed! Like too much in it. The egg was basically the side. Had a side of chicken sausage, that could have stayed in the kitchen. You get 4 large patties. But they are clearly previously frozen patties. Not nasty, but I didn't even get through one whole one, just wasn't good. The pineapple habenero wings were good. The flavor was on point, I'm just not a huge fan of breaded fried wings and then tossed in sauce. The waffle was surprisingly good. Drinks: got the Cheggnog and Bellini both good, but strong.

Quick service on a Sunday NFL night. They were kind enough to switch a few TVs to the Steelers game for us. Food came quick and was amazing. Got the slamming chicken sandwich, easily one of the best I've ever had. Ambience is open bar type, plenty of seating and mildly rowdy crowds.

I'm so surprised by the amount of poor reviews on here! My friends and I came last night for dinner and drinks, we had an awesome experience. Our server Des was so sweet and kept checking on us to make sure we were good on drinks. Started with the nachos, which were great! Loaded with toppings and a perfect shareable. I got the BCW with their "Beesting" sauce (reminded me of a more mild version of hot and honey) which was delicious. The fries were perfectly crispy. Great drink menu with a lot of options on tap, good mixed drink menu as well. After our meal we hung out in the outdoor area where there were couches, fire pit seating, and cornhole. Looks like they're working on getting TVs put up on the outside as well, which will bring even more appeal to the area. Definitely will be back!

This review covers a few visits. Happy hour, good deal, tasty food and drinks and pretty good…read moreservice, would recommend. Group event, went as part of a holiday party and the food, service and wine were all on point. This was a long happy hour not sit down so I cannot attest to a large group sit down dinner. Lastly dining in the main dining room, 6 people, Saturday night. Service was thin, read, our server was busy with a large group in the back and the neglect was evident. Now this doesn't mean the rest of the restaurant crew couldn't step in but really didn't. We were graced with a water refill once over the course of the dinner, although the friendly server who did pour the water said she walks around to fill water, she was never seen again. Our entrees were brought by a group of servers who disappeared after placement of the plates. So it would appear people were working they just seemed to ignore our table. Food was great, I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think the food was on par, but spending this kind of money you want a balance of service and food. You can see the accumulation of glasses that went on removed between wines. Now happy hour is discounted and you are at the bar so you get front and center service. Standing in the group room you are able to flag a server, sitting in the middle of the dining area and being largely ignored just rubs you the wrong way. I had two people ask why are you going to Flemings when I told them our plans. A competing steak house at the Cherry Hill Mall, we have attended many, many times without fail. You don't know how good you have it until you go someplace else and realize service is a lost art at some places. I am posting more for public service announcement, i would hope management reviews and tries to address this rather large service gap. I have never had this issue at the capital Grill, so it is disappointing to encounter it here, particularly when the food was on point.

First and foremost, our server was excellent. Polite and prompt, friendly, everything you want in a server. My problem was the food ... I ordered the halibut, asked my server about the "seasonal veggies" it comes with (she mentioned asparagus, okay good) because I do love veggies, but there are some I just really do not. Unfortunately, those exact veggies arrived on the plate, and my entree looked more like stir fry. I don't like onions or peppers ... and they were the base veggie of the dish. The menu describes the "sauce" as a lemon citronette, and this dish was not at all what I was expecting. It lacked flavor, there was no sauce, not a hint of lemon (I even squeezed some on there & it didnt help :( ) I can get past some vegetables I don't eat, just pushed them to the side, but the halibut was so so so incredibly dry. It wasn't soft, or flakey, or moist. (I hate that word but it was the best way to describe what it lacked) It was like cardboard. I was trying to choke it down because I too, had just worked a serving shift for Mothers Day, & it was the first thing I was eating all day. My husband mentioned something to the server because he knew I wouldn't haha, I don't like to be a pain customer or send things back. Fortunately, they did take it off the bill, but it was just a bummer. Willing to try again in the future, & I'll just stay away from the halibut.

My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. This is two years in a row we celebrated her birthday at The Chop House and I wouldn't mind seeing this turn into her birthday tradition.

He checked on us through out our meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We had the calamari and dozen raw oysters which were both fresh and delicious. It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.
