I was double charged.....They put my tab on my debit card even though I had said I wanted to cash. I paid for my tab plus tip with cash and was assured they would reverse the charge to my card. They never did. The charge showed up on my statement this morning. read more

Love the vibe of this local place. The wings have been amazing lately. We routinely get them w extra sauce. The other food is reasonably priced w good portions. All the bartenders are terrific. read more

The Wick is a local neighborhood bar. The main reason why I always return here is because their prices are some of the cheapest you'll find for both food and beer. The food and drinks are good for the prices they charge. I can't think of another place where you get more bang for your buck. Nothing fancy about coming here but I can enjoy a day/night out and not put a dent in my wallet. The service can be a little slow at times but I usually don't have any issues when I sit at the bar. The owners usually help run the bar and they have always been very friendly and appreciative of the business. If you're looking for a fancy night out then this isn't your place BUT if you want to get good quality value for your dollar then this is the place to go. read more

This place is terrible now. Service is just ok the older male bartender is a real jerk. The wings the last two times I came here have been under cooked and my wife and I both got sick after our last visit all tho we cant prove it we are very sure it was from the food here. The annoying dog running around the bar was kind of gross and the bald eagle sauce has been modified some how where it's now awful but I'm sure the fact that the wings are served in a pile of grease and are kind of cold doesn't help. This was my favorite wing place but after getting sick and receiving crappy service I won't be back. I'm not even sure how this place passes health inspection. It's disgusting and the bathroom screams of hep C! So sad to see an awesome place turn to complete garbage. Stay away! read more

This is your classic dive bar, where locals come to hang out, grab some food & have a drink. I came here for specifically for 1/2 priced wings on a Wednesday night. The wings were decent, but I wouldn't proclaim them to be the best, even in the area. They had a few different flavor options, but I'd recommend just sticking with the regular 'buffalo' flavors. We ordered medium, honey and garlic. The honey were just that, wings covered in honey. They were only good when we dipped them in the medium hot sauce drippings. The garlic were also unimpressive, just covered, and I mean covered, in garlic. The decor is dated, but again, it's a local dive bar. The service was friendly, but a bit slow when it came to ordering food or paying the bill. I attribute that to the waitress who was hiding out in the kitchen for most of our visit there. The bartender was fast in getting us additional drinks. I guess if you're looking to watch a game, grab a beer & catch up with friends this is a good spot, but don't come here for the food. On the positive they do have lots of games to play, with two pool tables, a pinball machine, shuffleboard table & one of those bubble hockey tables. They also have lots of daily specials, which are as follows... Sun - $2.50 23oz. Miller Light drafts Mon - $2.50 23oz. Coors Light drafts Tue - $1 Tacos, $3 Landshark & Corona bottles Wed - 1/2 priced wings, $2 Yuengling draft & Yuengling Light bottles Thurs - $2.50 23oz. Budweiser & Bud Light Drafts, $5 Build your own Pizza Fri - $2.50 23oz. Coors Light drafts read more

Older male bartender is extremely rude and unprofessional,he claims his FAIR. He makes my drink,it was horrible, straight sour mix. I told him I didn't like because of the sourness of the drink and could get something different. (This is where the unprofessional shows) He said this is what I asked for and it would cost them (The Wick) additional money to get something different and he did what I asked. He tried to adjusting the same nasty sour ass drink. (That's not being nice that being lazy & cheap) Long story short this "Man" wanted to go back and forth with females while working about one drink. I didn't want a free drink I just wanted something decent I COULD drink. Why would I pay for a drink I didn't like and won't drink? In the end the person I was with was able to reason with this nut for another drink. But then he said we can't go outside with them ... The Wick is for basics beer or fries nothing more read more

If you're looking for cheap beers, cheap food and far too well lit of a place to enjoy them in, this is the spot. It has a super strong corner bar feel. Very Cheers-esque. I had the hot wings. They weren't all that hot and boy were they small. But, they were good. Cooked just right, plenty of sauce and half off on Wednesdays! It's a super mellow place to stop in for a beer and a bite. I would personally go for the hottest wings in the place but that's just me, the average person would enjoy the hot, I think. I'd stop back in for sure! read more

Excellent food and service! The staff is friendly and the food is stellar. They have a newly renovated back room which is great for private parties. They also have excellent live music via Van Metzger Band. Best place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. read more

Fun neighborhood bar with pool tables. Chilled vibe, cheap drinks and all around cool staff. Never any complaints with this place.

I love this place! Their food is awesome! Very inexpensive! Home made hand pattied burgers. Family oriented with games for the kids, 2 pool tables , a separate dinning area, it's a awesome place. I travel a lot and was very lucky to find this place ! read more

Just a lovely place. What a good bar is supposed to feel like. Great service, reasonable drink prices, good food...never had a bad time

Food could use improvement, had mediocre lunch yesterday, need fresh menu , homemade dinner items would be great! Hope they change it up, me and hubby love place.. Would love to bring friends for dinner . This place is a staple in nj. Hope they make it great in future!! Holiday parties, family get togethers. We want to start coming back in future, looking forward to food changes soon...Drinks were great, crowd was decent, will try again in a couple weeks, Always feels wonderful to walk into a establishment that has many memories over the years from friends and family.Service was ok, although it seems the employees could use customer service refreshment meeting as a reminder to treat the business as if it was your own, every person walking through the door should matter and be treated so, without them there is no business or job. read more

Ice cold beer and the best wings I have had, anywhere! The service is excellent and the owners have turned this place into a destination rather than just another bar. It has all th right ingredients to make it a perfect end to any day. Great food, friendly staff and you feel like a part of the family when you are there. Wings at half price during the week, from 4:30 to 7:00 and during some games is a definite plus. I have been known to do 20 at a single sitting. I have eaten my way through most of the menu and the burgers are thick and juicy, the portions are large and the cook is a true genius. If you go on Friday, go early because the place fills up quick. read more

Love this place! Great wings, cheap beer and cheap food. Small, old school divey type bar, but can't beat it. Just watch for police trying to get you on your way out. They basically sit outside the bar on weekends read more

Awful service!!! I had a pick up order, the server was so RUDE!!! All because I asked if the sauce was correct. Then she stormed off when I asked if I could have a side of hot sauce. Got home and guess what no buffalo sauce was on the wings at all. I made my own as, I do not trust what she gave me. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

This place is just about the towniest bar you could possibly imagine. It is dark, sticky, filled with locals at 3 in the afternoon, kinda has a weird smell, only serves bud, bud light, coors, coors light, and yeuingling, has pool and shuffleboard always being played, and is famous for their wings. All of these things make me love this place. Even though it is certainly filled to the brim with guys and gals you assume are here 4-5 times weekly (if not daily), it's not the kind of place where you feel awkward coming in for a beer. The women who run the bar are polite and welcoming. The people who run the food are sweet. I'm pretty sure all they serve is bud light, coors light and yeuingling (this is an exaggeration, but probably not too far off). But that being said, you can get any of these for like, $2 on any given day. Their wings are pretty damn fantastic and the sauces are plenty. You go go mild, med, hot, extra hot, bbq, hot bqq, honey, hot honey... you get the idea. And they are 1/2 off during happy hour (every day until 7pm), which seems to be the only time I ever come to this place. Not gonna lie, this place and the Jug Handle Inn put any of the wings I get in Philly to shame. There is seriously something (awesome) to be said for a place that you can get 3 beers and 3 tacos for under $10. Is this place for real? Yes, and that is why it is awesome. read more

WOW overhaul. Entirely redone, new everything, i mean everything, walls, ceiling, floors, bars, extensively redone. Good beers, Flying fish? True! It has that new business feel. It's important that when a business opens, or in this case reopens with new management, to make a good impression, and they make sure to do so. Definitely worth stopping in and enjoying the change. read more

A few co workers and I patronized this establishment a few months ago multiples times over a two week period. Great beer, great service and great food. Do not go to Flying fish brewing. read more

If your looking for a friendly local dive bar this is the place! Bartenders are friendly. Just a very cozy at home atmosphere!

Here on a recent Saturday night to see a friend's band. It's like drinking in the basement of a college frat house...with the college students included at no extra charge. Too brightly lit for the regulars I saw. Noisy crowd of amateur drinkers. Service was good and my server was cute. Aside from that, this was just another dive bar type establishment to me. Which is a shame because I remembered it as a much nicer place back 10 years ago or more. May come back if another friend's band performs here. If not, this place isn't special enough to make the effort of a repeat visit. read more

Cheap cold beer, great wings. Decent beer selection. Jug Handle Inn and Warwick Tavern have the two best wings around.

Bar is just ok. Mainly a local bar but they have the best wings in town. Menu is exactly the same as the jug handle read more

The hot wings are by far not the best as advertised . I bought 10 and they had hardly any sauce on them. Pretty much fried chicken. They poured the wing sauce on the bottom of the plate and then stacked the wings on. They are the large size wings also. The place is clean and a heavy mix of the older crowd. Not a bad facility at all. read more

A truly great dive bar. And use that term with the highest respect. Zero pretension, great wings, good food, friendly courteous service, older folks, young hipster kids, the standard mass market beers and a few good crafts, good mix of bands, shuffleboard (quakes), and a pool table. And above all its not corporatized, homogenized, and phony. It's honest and authentic. What more can you want for a good time? read more

Recent visit to the Wick was my first since the change in ownership. They were most accommodating for our large group. Food & prices were good, the wait staff really hustled, and we loved the back room with the shuffleboard table. Great neighborhood spot! read more

Service was great, very local bar...now for the wings. Wings were over cooked, what a shame. I would say if you like a local bar go for the beer and not the wings. read more

This is a very good local "dive" bar. They advertise that they have the best wings in South Jersey and I would have to agree that these are amongst the best that I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable and they take bar food to a whole new level in my opinion. Staff is very friendly. I really enjoy going to this place because of the atmosphere, menu & reasonable prices. If you are unpretentious and like good food & drink, you will like this place. read more

The beer on tap was cold. The wings were delicious. The bartenders were excellent and friendly even though it was very busy.

So we needed a quick cocktail and some fast munchies so we stopped in the Warwick Tav. Food was ok, cocktails were poured well and service was great. For appies, we had the fried clam strips and their self acclaimed best wings in SJ. So for the clams, they were you usual fried clam strips with fries. Nothing to complain about, nothing to get excited over, but if you like fried clams, they were enjoyable. The menu stated their wings were the best in SJ, so the garlic wings were a must try. I would not say they were the best but they were pretty good. One of the downsides was the size of the wings. Quite small. As far as flavor though they were above average. It was a combo butter? hot sauce garlic parm. Possibly try them again, but if their listening, would pay more for a better/larger wing. Cocktails were very well made and for the price/qty of alcohol, they were decent. As for the atmosphere, well it is an older style, corner/neighborhood bar and could use some rehab. Overall, I would return and try some other foods, and enjoy a happy hour with friends. Prices are reasonable, and service was great. read more

A great dive bar with the best wings in the area. Go on Wednesday night for half priced wings!

Go to a little town bar and expect something more than a little town bar and you will always be disappointed. I, on the other hand, look to the service, food and the company when I make my choices. And I have no complaints about anything during my experience here. We abused the jukebox and the megatouch while listening to my friend play some really reminscent 90's tunes on stage. Would definitely come back with friends again. read more

Country music blaring, I don't like it but understand some might but still! Took 5 min to be seen in such a small place. Then ready to order and waited 10 min and since we couldn't even hold a conversation with the music so loud had to leave. Thank you Villari's for giving a much better option. read more

Used to have great food but now it's awful. Something must have changed, especially since the food is now billed separately from alcohol. Ordered wings, which i used to get all the time. The wing sauce was nothing but pure oil. Asked for a side of sauce since i assumed what it came coated in must have been a mistake, and i was given a container of oil. Left to go somewhere else since they were completely oil soaked and inedible. Disappointed. read more
