We met friends here on a Saturday night, though a little busy the service was prompt and friendly! Atmosphere, Beers and Aesthetics two thumbs up! We didn't have anything to eat here. **Doggy friendly space too**

We visited the Barrington location on a Saturday afternoon after visiting the Oaklyn location the week prior. Both spots have great beer options, but Oakyln has more of the experimental stuff while Barrington seems to have more of the "greatest hits." Both have a great vibe, but this one is definitely MUCH bigger (2 bars on the main floor and an upstairs seating area!) and louder. There was a mix of ages, including parents with young kids and folks with dogs. I appreciated the child friendly family restroom with a full changing table. They do not sell flights, but you can order 10 oz pours if you're not sure you want to commit. I really loved the coffee Porter and the Halcyon IPA (we bought 6 packs of each to enjoy at home). There is a parking lot, but given the popularity of this spot, it fills up quickly. We were there around 2 PM and it was already packed. I look forward to returning in the spring/summer to enjoy their outdoor space!

Hmm... this is my third trip here and I can't believe that I've not left a review or comment. Oh well. This was the last stop for my son and me on our Saturday afternoon brewery crawl. This is where our wives and my granddaughter joined us. It's my son and granddaughter's favorite brewery due to its proximity and spaciousness. For me, it has the absolute best HC parking location l've ever encountered. The building is a huge modern beer hall with a large outdoor space. Plenty of drafts to choose from and lots of lots of employees to accept orders. Today it seemed terribly more crowed than during past visits. After a coffee porter, it was homeward bound for the five of us.

BARRINGTON: Tonewood Brewing's other location is truly a sight to see! Absolutely beautiful, modern, open, spacious, and leashed dogs are allowed inside the tasting room and at the outdoor garden. It is a magnificent space right downtown and we can see many parties happening here. Some beers are the same as the Oaklyn location, and some are different, so you have to visit both, haha! Bring your own food and there is a small parking lot in the back, and also street parking.

Came by here on a Sunday afternoon on the way back to NY. One of two locations for this brewery, with this particular spot being newer and incredibly spacious. While they did have some food options, nothing looked very tempting. Decided to stick with the beers - starting with the Mona Citra ($6 for 16oz). An obvious citrus forward hoppy ale that's creamy on the pallette. Next on tap was the Improv IPA ($7 for 12oz). Strong double IPA that's juicy from the start and lingers through. Since we didn't get the food available at the bar, opted to order in from a nearby restaurant which they're totally cool with. Despite the large place, there aren't many bartenders to serve anyone. This means a bit of time before getting drinks. Fine spot to visit if you don't mind a detour.

I like beer. I like breweries. I visit a lot of breweries and drink a lot of beer. This is, in my opinion, the best brewery in the Philadelphia region. I have never had a bad beer produced by Tonewood and many of them are very good to excellent. They always have a solid variety and don't ever miss. The Barrington location is spacious and modern with a nice outdoor area. The original space in Oaklyn is very small and traditional. Both are great in their own ways and the staff is always on point. Do yourself a favor and start drinking/visiting Tonewood right now.

My girlfriend used to live a block away so I've been here a few times. I was initially not very impressed with the beer, but we still live in the area and recently came back on a Sunday afternoon for the first time in awhile and I think they've really stepped it up. 11 beers on tap when we visited, plus one hard seltzer. We tried a flight, and all the beers were good, but the true standout was the Temple of Hathor IPA. It was extraordinary and I highly recommend it if it's on tap when you visit. The place was kind of dead for a Sunday afternoon. They were showing a 76ers playoff game on a big pull down screen, but we were one of the few people there. Overall, this is not a destination brewery like Tonewood. You're probably not going to go out of your way to come here. But if you're in the area it's a pleasant place to kill a few hours over some decent beers, and I look forward to stopping in again to see what else they come up with.

We arrived on a Friday night and the place was buzzing. We were shown upstairs to a high-top window seat at the bar, which ended up being a great perch to take it all in. Our server was friendly and attentive and clearly knew the menu. Pro tip: make a reservation if you want a seat, especially on weekends. There are multiple levels with both indoor and outdoor seating, which adds to the charm of the space. The cocktail menu leans heavily on seasonal, locally inspired ingredients, and we lucked out by arriving right as they rolled out the winter menu, while still keeping some familiar staples on the list. We started with Granny's Got a Gun, a brown sugar bourbon and coffee liqueur drink, and The See-Through, a clarified citrus vodka cocktail, both well balanced and right on the mark. Next up were the Black Walnut Old Fashioned and Sands of Time, solid drinks overall, though as a bourbon fan I personally wished they leaned a bit more whiskey-forward. We finished the night with Blue Beer, a blueberry bourbon highball riff that leaned more root beer than expected, and their version of an espresso martini, which was easily the best drink of the night. One thing to note, there is no food served here, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks. Pricing is what you would expect for quality craft cocktails in this area. Wildfether works just as well for an intimate night out as it does for a group of friends. This is a great spot for cocktail lovers who enjoy well-made drinks and soaking in the character of a historic space. Definitely worth a visit.

Its a distillery that recently started doing coffee during the day hours. I was disappointed they only have espresso not drip coffee. Its a pricey place. I also went back for drinks and the menue wasnt too exciting for me. I tried the violet fizz (not a fan) and the spicy old fashion (better but nothing to be wowed by). Its a bit pricey too. And this is odd but the bathroom placement needs a privacy screen in front.

No beer. But the ciders and meads are phenomenal. My girlfriend and I stopped in yesterday on a Saturday afternoon, which was our first time there. We each tried a cider flight and a mead flight and loved everything. Definite standouts for me were the Mother Muse and Tulsi (both had a nice mix of sweet fruit taste with a hint of herbs like rosemary and basil) and the Ayamarcay with its decadent peanut/chocolate flavor. The story of how this place came to be is just as incredible. Founding member Christian Annese was misdiagnosed many years ago with Celiac, which led him to the world of ciders and meads. At the time, NJ laws made it incredibly difficult to brew quality cider, and mead was effectively illegal. So Christian and his partners worked tirelessly with NJ legislators to change the law, and in 2020 Armageddon opened for business. Highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back!
