HADDON HEIGHTS: Tanner Brewing Co. is a sweet little spot in an adorable part of town off the train tracks. They have a nice selection of over 10 beers on-tap including the unique Waffle Cone Porter, seasonally appropriate Oktoberfest, a fruited wheat, sour, and more! We met the friendly owner, Joe, who let us know that they are working on their outdoor space to have more seating and allow the pups. If you're in the area, pop-in and they will make sure you're taken care of.

Excellent, brand new brewery just a block off of the Main Street in Haddon Heights. Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend after hearing about the place on Facebook, and it was packed with people wandering over from the street festival downtown. They're still in their soft opening phase. They don't have an official website, official opening times, or even a permanent sign out front. What they do have is a gorgeous, airy, small tasting room with garage doors that open up the space, plus some standing tables in the back room that overlook their equipment. They have nine beers on tap with excellent variety. They don't offer flights but do 5, 10, and 16 ounce pours. Between my girlfriend and me, we tried almost everything on the menu, our favorites being the two pale ales pictured here (we bought a four pack of the One Eyed Jack to bring home). They have two unisex bathrooms (no signs up yet for them) which are very clean. We only live two miles away, so I'm sure we'll be back at some point. Really looking forward to see how they grow and change over time. And we will definitely recommend this place to other beer lovers looking to support locally made beer.

    Soft opening!

Been waiting for this place and it was well worth it!! They have not officially opened just yet... I just happen to follow their FB posts and saw a Soft Opening happening for only 3 hrs on a Sunday. Went and crashed it lol... JK JK it wasn't by invitation only so I was welcomed with open arms! Got to try 4 different brews and they were all fantastic!! They're definitely ready for everyone to enjoy! Looked like they just need some finishing touches inside the brewery but this is a great addition to the neighborhood! 1. One eyed Jack is a pale ale with tons of juicy flavors. Easy to drink! 2. Head in the Clouds - their double IPA is smooth! 3. Sour Hour Margarita - Sour ale with lime 4. Wake Up! - Coffee Stout... coffee lovers will LOVE this one! They will be having soft openings in the upcoming weeks and eventually a grand opening! Keep your eyes open!

Great local brewery with hometown feel. While the space is small, it is good for a drink. Service is always friendly.

My girlfriend used to live a block away so I've been here a few times. I was initially not very impressed with the beer, but we still live in the area and recently came back on a Sunday afternoon for the first time in awhile and I think they've really stepped it up. 11 beers on tap when we visited, plus one hard seltzer. We tried a flight, and all the beers were good, but the true standout was the Temple of Hathor IPA. It was extraordinary and I highly recommend it if it's on tap when you visit. The place was kind of dead for a Sunday afternoon. They were showing a 76ers playoff game on a big pull down screen, but we were one of the few people there. Overall, this is not a destination brewery like Tonewood. You're probably not going to go out of your way to come here. But if you're in the area it's a pleasant place to kill a few hours over some decent beers, and I look forward to stopping in again to see what else they come up with.

We visited during the holidays and loved all the decorations and lively crowd. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside and we were immediately brought a water bowl for Brie without even being asked. The indoor space is tiny, but they set up the space well with a few tables and bar seating. There is also an outdoor patio with heaters for more room. There are TVs to watch the game and you can bring your own food! We really enjoyed the Wits End wheat and Toss My Woodermelon Salad sour (what a great name!). Brie kept entertaining everyone with her dancing and the owner comped us a free beer in appreciation. We are so thankful for the wonderful customer service. We had so much fun playing Trivial Pursuit (there are decks of cards on the tables). There is parking in the back of the brewery and on the street.

But don't let that fool you; this place packs a punch. I've been here several times over the years and just stopped in on a Friday afternoon with my girlfriend. They had 11 beers on tap plus a hard seltzer (and they let you choose flavorings for the seltzer so there's just about something for everyone), plus a slushy machine with a beer slushy and a seltzer slushy. We each tried two flights so we had everything on the menu. Excellent variety and quality in what they offer. And then I left my backpack. I had gone down the shore for the weekend and couldn't come back right away but I called and they said they could hold onto it until Tuesday. My girlfriend and I came back on Tuesday intending to just grab the bag but ended up staying for a few beers and so glad we did! We sat at the bar talking with some of the regulars and the bartenders. They were offering free hotdogs and barbecue chicken from a food truck and it genuinely felt like having dinner and drinks with friends. I've never felt so welcome at a brewery before. Bottom line: this place is an amazing place to hang out. Excellent beer, table games, Phillies on the tv, friendly people... what more do you need?! We will definitely come back!
