Beers are okay! I will say the old hags that come there are rude! I was with my family and this old hag came up to be and my kids while we were eating and having a few drinks. I'm aware she wanted my table but when she said "I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not sorry.. are you almost don't?" This pizza and other food was just delivered. I would like more girly / fruity drinks added to the menu. Also go for the tour upstairs. It's really nice. There is definitely a ghostly vibe upstairs. I'd heard great things about Bonesaw over the years and I wasn't disappointed during my visit. The brewery itself is in a large and spacious building with tons of seating and a good view of the actual brewing production. If you're lucky you might even spot their resident mouser, Taco Cat! She likes hanging out near the door and trying to escape. They have a wide variety of offerings, most of which are quite unique. For instance, the Dum Dumz DIPA is brewed with actual dum dum lollipops and was very sweet. Don't be turned off, there's something for everyone here. Nice spot for a drink! read more

GLASSBORO: as we entered the driveway to Bonesaw Brewing Co., we thought we were pulling up to a fancy catering hall. The building is stunning and modern and gorgeous, and they do in fact host parties! When we entered the tap room our jaws dropped with how open, yet cozy it was. Wooden tables, rustic chandeliers, a bit moody, and totally fun! They also have an outdoor patio that is fully enclosed with picnic tables and a fully outdoor space where leashed dogs are allowed. You can order inside and then bring the drinks outside. The menu has the over 20 options on tap and features a mix of ales, lagers, stouts, sours, hard seltzers, IPAs, barrel aged, and non-alcoholic beverages. We enjoyed The Amputator doppelbock. The name Bonesaw was inspired by the owner's roots as an orthopedic surgeon! You can read a very cool history on their website. We stopped in to Bonesaw because of a recommendation from the beer manager at a local liquor store. It's a beautiful location with a large inside taproom and seating outside. They had a large selection of beer on tap and the beertenders were super friendly. We got two flights so we tried ten of their beers and they were all pretty good! A couple of our favorites were the Queensicle and the Swoosh IPA. They don't serve food but I heard that they have food trucks periodically, there wasn't one there when we were visiting. They did have some pretzels and snacks available though. It was a great stop along our NJ beer journeys! read more

Pretty cool place. Excellent service and great beers. They have a very large on tap selection. What I didn't like was one of the beers I ordered wasn't on tap it came from a can then poured into a glass as if it was on tap. Just give me the can if that's what you're doing. The second negative and it's a big one for me was the flies. Not just fruit flies but house flies as well. Sitting inside I shouldn't have to place a coaster on top of my beer to keep flies out. I will definitely drink their beer again but don't really need to go back to the brewery. Really wanted to go 2.5 but yelp doesn't give half star options read more

For strictly beer, I feel like Bonesaw has the best in the local area. Their best, for me, are the German styles. Crimson Skull, and Amputator are highlights. But they're all very good. Prefer the Glassboro spot to the mall. read more

Finally stopped in with some brew heads from DE. And I totally get the hype. This is the most impressive brewery I've been to by far. First off the inside is huge with awesome windows and a giant bar so they can handle the volume. The beer-tenders were all there ready to go so there was no wait even with nearly 75-100 ppl in the building. The inside option was great for the cold weather. The merch is dope. We got a bone white long sleeve. Now NJ needs to chill so they can have food trucks like the winery down the road or every brewery in DE !! read more

What a fantastic space. They have a huge inside and outside area to hang out (pack a sweatshirt, that outdoor space is 99% shade). A great place for large groups, kids, you name it. It was jumping on a Saturday afternoon with a ton of families gathered. Not the friendliest service but certainly not rude one bit. Just a bit serious. The tap list was extensive but the beers were just slightly above average. The one real negative and the reason for this average review is they had no food options on site and certainly no kitchen to make any sort of food for its many patrons, so be prepared. Follow them on social media to find out if a food truck will be there that day or pack your own. Otherwise, it's a liquid diet all day. read more

This brewery appears to be quite new to the area. It's right off the campus of Rowan University, so you know you're going to get a big college crowd here. And yes it was packed. This place is huge with many tables, chairs, couches and even a fireplace. Many different drafts available, too numerous to mention. I will say there was a good variety of light and dark brews. This place might even be AA approved, cuz they offer two original non-alcoholic drinks. Hmmm that's a first for me seeing that option. I really enjoyed the Pum-Queen cream ale. I did not see any tours available only a composite sheet on each table available to read on your own. The staff was so busy that it was impossible to get any discussion from them. Super cool brewery! I loved the decor, and all the details...it wasn't just a big hall selling beer...they really took the time to make this place something special! It's large with lots of seating both inside and out. They sell flights, which is usually what I opt to start with at a new brewery. Beers were good, nothing that was my absolute favorite though. The Double Vanilla Cream Ale Nitro was served with a vanilla sugar rim...something I've never seen before on a beer! Definitely check this place out! Bonesaw Brewing is such a chill and lively addition to Glassboro and the Rowan University area. As an alumna, I'm pretty jealous that this place didn't exist when I was in college! Admittedly, I loathed beer in college...but still. What a fun and sophisticated concept to have so close to campus! The brewery is located right on 322 between Route 55 and the western edge of Rowan. If you're coming from the highway, keep an eye out as it's pretty easy to pass based on the treeline only...not the size (it's huge). There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which is good because it's necessary. Good thing they didn't build a typical brewery or they'd have to have ticketed entry. A food truck is also on-site. The interior design is gorgeous with lots of bone and rustic elements. I like that they have a designated ordering line, as that makes their system so much more efficient. I do hope they'll decide to start using flight holders though (perhaps they were on order?) because selecting more than two little beers at a time isn't fun to otherwise move. I ordered three samples: the cream ale, their lager, and a coffee sour. As much as I love sours, that was not my thing. I liked the cream ale the most; true to style and not artificial. Looking forward to what else they brew as they become more acclimated. The backstory to this spot is really neat too. Check out their website to read it. The brewer has a nice rap sheet that includes Funky Buddha, and the owner also has quite the storied background (in healthcare). One of the best breweries I've been too in NJ. As usual, the Yelp community nailed it when they said this place rocks. Super nice on the inside with plenty of seating. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and most importantly a huge selection of delicious beer. So many good options to choose from. They don't serve food but I hear food trucks are there regularly, plus I saw a table get a pizza delivered right to their table which was pretty cool. Minus one star for the guy at the bar rushing me to choose my beers for my flight. Definitely wasn't intentional, but given it was my first time there and there's 2 pages of beer to choose from...it woulda been cool if he gave me more than 2 minutes to look things over. This was my 2nd time at Bonesaw (first time was on a date almost a year ago to the day when they weren't serving flights due to covid and a server took your order and brought your beer to your seats). This visit was a Saturday night around 6pm and it was very busy. We sat at the bar briefly and ordered flights until a table opened up. Regardless of how busy it was, the servers/bartenders were organized and did a great job taking orders and pouring beers. The bar has a section in the middle reserved for placing orders for anyone who is sitting at a table. The building is big inside with lots of seating available. I was surprised with how easy it was to have a conversation with others at our table despite how crowded and potentially noisy it could've been. I ended up getting two flights because I want to try as many beers as possible. My first flight consisted of 3 IPAs and a sour (I really enjoyed the sour) and my serving flight I went with a little more variety. The Stout (All Blacked Out) was my favorite beer from my 2nd flight but I enjoyed everything I tasted. It's a shame that Bonesaw is a 40 minute drive for me or I'd definitely be back more often. read more

Great atmosphere, but not very welcoming bartenders. My friends were the first to arrive one afternoon, and no welcome, or even a Hello, from the staff upon their arrival. They sat for nearly 20 minutes at a table, waiting for my arrival, with no service from bar tenders. Even upon service, bar tenders were not very welcoming, and were minimally accommodating. Later in the afternoon, the bartender complained about my friend playing music on her phone at our table. I guess we are used to smaller breweries with a very accommodating and friendly staff. But in my Opinion, they have a great atmosphere and good beer selection, but the bar tenders leave something to be desired. read more

Our limited experience here certainly deserves nothing less than a five! This was our last stop of a wine and beer tour of South Jersey. The food truck outside came in clutch! We ordered from there and brought our food inside. The macaroni and cheese in the food truck really wasn't that good but it doesn't have any applicability to my Yelp review of bonesaw so I'm leaving that separate! My friends like the beer and I ordered the gluten-free Crystal peach cider and it was one of the ciders I've ever had! Certainly isn't overly sweet and served at a great temperature too! Highly recommend it! The ambience in here is really rustic, with tables made of huge pieces of trees and the stands for the tables made of tree trunks. There's a really open concept to the main dining area so if feels more like an experience than a restaurant. One of the walls looks into the distillery itself and that's really cool!! read more

I think this may be my favorite brewery here in the South Jersey area!! Came upon this brewery as a recommendation from a random person I was talking to at another brewery.. and I'm so glad I was being social that night!! Right when we pulled up, the whole facility looked huge! Had plenty of parking, came on a Sunday evening around 6. Walked in and was instantly amazed how at big the space was! The decor really caught my eye.. the tables were nicely made.. do you guys make and sell them?! I would totally buy hehe!! Anyways space inside is HUGE and cozy. Right when you walk in, you see the brewing stuff.. I didn't see if they had any tours.. usually they offer them but they didn't ask. That's ok... I was just interested in the brews, but I like being asked if it's my first time there etc. The bar space is nice and man do they have a lot of brews to choose from! Definitely need to come back because I would have been drunk off my booty had I tried everything lol. So we opted for the flight.. 4 choices each and then I eventually went with a regular size pint afterwards. You can also ask to sample a brew before ordering the full size FYI! Oh also there is a food truck in the parking lot for food! Don't know if it's any good but at least you have that as an option! DOG FRIENDLY too :-) Here was my lineup for the night: - PUM-QUEEN: this was a vanilla pumpkin cream ale, sounded interesting and I love pumpkin and wanted to try one of their cream ales, so I went with it! Had a hint of pumpkin spice and the vanilla was subtle. Nice and smooth... I could drink a whole pint easily! - Ruby Duby: which is a grapefruit Hefeweizen ... it was good but a bit too tart for me, definitely had the zing they were talking about. I'd rather just have a Hefeweizen. - Houshman's Hazardous Bonesaw Brew: A brown ale with a little bit of hot saucy surprise... this was surprisingly good! I got nervous when I saw I had ordered something with hot sauce lol... but the hot sauce was not overwhelming, just a little hint of it that lingered in your taste buds at the end! But overall the taste of beer was nice and easy to drink! I probably couldn't drink a whole pint of it tho... but worth a try! - All Blacked Out: an oatmeal stout that's made a comeback.. so figured it's worth a try and I am a stout and porter gal. This definitely did not disappoint! Had your flavors of chocolate and coffee and was smooth a creamy. I read in the description that it had a bit of tobacco so I was expecting a little bit of smokiness, but I didn't taste that. It was good and I definitely can enjoy another pint of this one. - I went and opted to order a full size pint of their Cheers which is a brown ale, because it's the holidays and I wanted a holiday brew. They even put a brown sugar rim on it which was a nice touch to it! It's holiday in a cup in beer form! It was yummy! My overall experience was great and I will definitely be back for more!
