American burger

Looks like a large bank or government building from the outside while being a restaurant on the inside. Smaller inside than you would think considering the outside with a large bar. We all orders some type of sandwich. The filet one was the best - had the most flavor then the chicken and lastly the burger. The French fries could have been cooked a little longer so they were crispy instead of soft. Service was friendly but we needed to ask for our water glasses to be filled.

$22 for fish and chips

It was a beautiful day, so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather. PRO TIPS Little did we know on weekends, this main street becomes more like a main drag as there so many roaring, noisy motor cycles that streamed by. Not the restaurant's fault, but future patrons should note this. They charge you an additional almost 4% if you use a credit card. Service was OK. We had to constantly flag down someone for a refill on drinks, for missing condiments, etc. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, prices have gone up but almost $30 per person for ice tea and splitting an appetizer and a main meal between two people was a little eye-watering. Didn't love the fish and chips.

Pitman, NJ is such a cute town. While walking the main strip, we stumbled on this bar. It is in an interestingly large building across a cute park. The place has outdoor dining as well. I ended up getting a gyro salad. It was impressively big for a salad. I really liked the gyro meat with the tzatziki sauce. The salad also consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, and carrots. I really like how the lettuce, tomatoes, and carrots were vinegary. The pita breads around the plate were perfectly toasted as well. The bartender was very nice and found extra tzatziki sauce even after the kitchen closed.

Parking is right across the street which makes it easy getting here. Little small town but inside of this place it's pretty huge with bar and table seats. They play music and have a few TVs to watch if you want. Apps were great. Our favorite was the brussel sprouts which came with 2 pieces of toasted bread. Very good and satisfying. The fries could've had a few more pieces of chicken and more blue cheese sauce. If you order ask for a side of blue cheese to offset the buffalo sauce flavor. Kinda soggy as well. If anything get the buffalo chicken egg rolls. I imagine they would be a ton more satisfying than the fries. Sandwiches were very good. Both buns were toasted great with the sandwiches being packed with meat. Chicken was juicy and done well. The roast beef ,when squeezed, dripped juices and went well with the veggies on it. Onions are a must and need to spring extra for them. Skip on the sweet potato fries unless you want something sweet. Comes with a cinnamon sauce on the side and wasn't expecting that. Drinks were good. Little heavy handed but we like that so it's worth getting another one. Menus has a lot different options to choose from.

Heavy seas dark beer

Was surprised to see such a large bar in this small town. At the time we visited, it was largely empty and thus quite spacious. Bartender was prompt and provided us menus as soon as we sat down. She took our drinks request followed by our meal choices. Unlike most bars, she even gave us her name, personalizing our service even further. Purchased a fuego burger, gyro salad, heavy seas dark beer, and white zinfandel. The burger was bland and forgettable. Didn't taste much flavor in it. The salad was ordinary with the dressing heavily influencing the taste. The drinks were also mediocre. The three stars are primarily for the excellent service.

Awesome service from reserving to dining! One of their busiest days and they managed to get it right with great service and food. My mother in law is tough to please and she loved it! Can't say anything but great things about Ashley G. Cause she was awesome and attentive. The beer and food selection albeit pub fair was great and we had no complaints. Not my first time here and they didn't disappoint. It was packed for a Saturday afternoon and the whole place was buzzing with laughter and it was amazing! The beer selection is off the charts too.

Good flavors and interesting dishes. A bit on the pricey side; but enjoyed the short rib French onion soup and brussels.

If you are reading this review because you are trying to decide whether you should dine here, let me make it easy for you: go! Four of us dined here Saturday, March 7, 2026, and are still talking about it as well as actively seeking another opportunity to patronize Martini's. Everything that we loved about our experience was magnified by the hospitality and attention provided by our server, Chris. Enough praise cannot awarded to this thoughtful and caring staff member. We truly hope the owners appreciate his efforts in exceptional customer service as well as promoting a superb image for the business. We definitely appreciated him and all that he did for us! In fact, he's at the top of the list of reasons why we would return to Martini's. Our fare was brunch and it was unique, tantalizing, delicious - honestly just insert any non-boring adjective here that you'd usually use to describe mouth-watering food. In addition, the prices were extremely reasonable. On top of that, the drinks were varied and tasty. There is something here for any palate. You can't tell from the outside, but Martini's is surprisingly spacious. There's a full bar inside along with a multitude of seating options, tables and high-tops included. It is clean, appropriately lit, and decorated tastefully. The décor, atmosphere, and vibe, if you will, are all aligned perfectly with the food and drink offerings: no gimmicks, no viral trendy nonsense - just damn good food and drink accentuated by the best service you could ever hope for. Thank you, Chris and Martini's for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to see you again!

The pancakes were light and fluffy. The French toast was nicely good. The bacon was thick but a little fatty. The avocado toast lacked flavor. Our friend did enough his eggs Benedict. Service was a little slow in asking about refills and taking our plates away. The small room we sat in had great pictures of legends - Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Junior to name a few. My seat faced the television and although it was not my intention of watching it the show was strange - it had a flower child vibe and just didn't match the room, place or time in my opinion. Overall bunch was average. Wondering if lunch and or dinner might be better.

The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.

Hummingbird To Mars - Drink

Hummingbird to Mars is one of those rare places that reminds you why small businesses matter…read more Tucked away like a true speakeasy, it has an atmosphere that immediately pulls you in: low light, intimate corners, and a sense that you've stepped into a place where craft still means something. The bartenders are the heart of the experience. They don't just pour drinks; they create them. There's real skill and artistry behind the bar, and the conversation is as good as the cocktails. You can tell they care about balance, technique, and presentation. The Walk in the Garden gin cocktail is the perfect example: bright, layered flavors, premium ingredients, and that lavender garnish that hits your nose before the first sip. The scent alone sets the stage for the drink. It's thoughtful, elegant, and exactly what a craft cocktail should be. The food holds its own right alongside the drinks. The skillet meatballs come out tender and full of flavor, the kind of dish that disappears faster than you expect. The potato skins are crisp, satisfying, and exactly what you want with a cocktail in hand. And the homemade Baileys cheesecake is the kind of dessert you plan to share but end up guarding with your fork. It's rich without being heavy, with that unmistakable homemade touch. One of the best parts of Hummingbird to Mars is the tapas-style menu. You can eat as much or as little as you want, a couple of small plates with drinks, or a full progression from appetizers to dessert. It gives you the freedom to shape the night however you want, without committing to oversized entrées or predictable bar food. And that's the bigger point: places like this don't happen by accident. They come from creativity, risk-taking, and a commitment to doing things well. If we don't support small businesses that put this level of care into their craft, we'll be left with nothing but the same chains serving the same menus everywhere you go. Hummingbird to Mars is the antidote to that; personal, inventive, and genuinely memorable. From the first sip to the last bite, it's a place that delivers an experience, not just a night out. It's worth supporting, worth returning to, and worth celebrating.
