    AUCE crabs
    lori l.

Ok so my husband and I have had the AUCE crabs on several occasions but last night was the worst. First of all $45.99 for all you can eat is a lot but inflation, ok gotcha. Crabs came out in a plate with nothing but the crabs.... No potatoes and no corn. The waitress told us there is an auce french fri station you can go up and get it yourself. I had to get up and get my own napkins, not a big deal but we r paying for waitress service . The crabs were not less than sub par. They were small and had not meat. The second round came out and they didn't give you a new plate, they just threw them on the old plate that you had from the first round. We sat outside so I guess that was probably the best part of the whole meal. Very disappointed and won't go back. Don't waste your money , totally not worth it.

Went in for some drinks and sat by the bar. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive, which made for a great experience. The drinks were well-made, and I also ordered the loaded tater tots--they were tasty and satisfying. Overall, a solid spot for a casual night out.

Good food, decent prices and awesome atmosphere (if you like loud bars on a Friday!) Service was quick and food came out hyper fast! Will be back for their Sunday brunch which looks amazing!

New (Apr23) Brisket Fries, pro tip- get these for sharing. Delicious, but heavy and serves a lot.

Food is good! They change their menu a few times a year which is nice. Location and environment is great, they do have a deck, bathrooms are usually clean, and it's always bright and casual. They truly have a great team working for them. They all get along and really are truly friendly. Keeps the ppl coming back. Feels like home when you walk in and see the Greentop Group. Wish the manager would invest a little time/standards though for his bartenders. I had 3 lemonades and Tito's made by 3 different ppl. Each one was fine but ENTIRELY different. It's not my first time experiencing that either. Martinis - avoid here. If you can get a bottle, can, or draft, you'll be happier. It's hard to find somewhere in their area that consistently makes great drinks and I know that would elevate this place!!

Good bar food (wings, fries, wings, etc) with a fun-friendly vibe. Really liked the outdoor deck with tables and umbrellas. Servers were excellent, which added to the positive experience.

Philly/Jersey- this is the BEST sports bar! Was in town visiting friends and came by on a Sunday afternoon. Our server- Lacey- was AWESOME! Great recommendations on drinks and food, and such a great upbeat personality. Service is impeccable! Be sure to check out their daily specials. Lunch special on Sunday is 1 pound of wings for $7. Lots of drink specials during game day, too! Will definitely stop back if I'm in Philly again.

We were looking for a laid back place to have lunch outdoors, this place was perfect. We sat on their patio. The server was very attentive and food was delivered (appetizer and entree) was delivered promptly. We had the pretzel bites as an appetizer, for our entree we had caesar salad with salmon on it as well as their shrimp rice bowl. Everything was enjoyable. The pretzel bites came out super hot, delicious. The caesar salad came with a nice size piece of salmon. The shrimp bowls came with nacho type chips, that was a little different but we enjoyed it. I recommend dining here.

This restaurant is exactly what you think it's going to be. It's a local bar restaurant. All of the customers that go here look and act like they've been coming here for a long time. There a big bar in the middle of the place and tables all around it. The waiters and waitresses have an IDGAF attitude with a side of sass and nice-ness. The food is also exactly as you'd expect as well. It's sort of like they do the bare minimum but it's OK food. If you're coming after work because you need to unwind, this can be that place.

The mild wings were extra crispy and full of flavor, and the blue cheese that came with them was great. The nicely plated chicken cheesesteak egg rolls were really good too, and I loved that they use Liscio's seeded bread for their sandwiches. It's soft and fluffy on the outside with that perfect crunch on the outside of the chicken. Their hot honey sauce had a nice mix of sweet and spicy, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Drinks were made well, and my cosmo looked great and tasted even better. The chicken quesadilla was stuffed with fillings, though I wasn't really into the cream cheese on the side. Prefer sour cream. The salsa it came with was fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and friendly, but the atmosphere felt a little awkward. There wasn't any music playing, just TVs with an NBA on with commercials which made it a bit too quiet & odd. The pool tables seemed to be the main draw since people were playing constantly. Overall, great food and drinks with friendly service. I just wish there was some background music or a livelier vibe inside because the food alone makes it worth coming back for.

The sandwich needed more chipotle mayo on the side which was great for the fries. My medium rare wagyu burger with the bacon jam was HUGE! We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. This is two years in a row we celebrated her birthday at The Chop House and I wouldn't mind seeing this turn into her birthday tradition.

He checked on us through out our meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We had the calamari and dozen raw oysters which were both fresh and delicious. It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.
