I am here from out of state and stopped in because hotel staff recommended it and it was close. Friendly staff and had a nice hometown friendly working class atmosphere which I loved! Lots of beer on tap to choose from. I ordered the Ott's Cooper, which was a cheesesteak with Cooper's, sautéed onions and fried sweets along with a bag of chips to go. Ok so my husband and I have had the AUCE crabs on several occasions but last night was the worst. First of all $45.99 for all you can eat is a lot but inflation, ok gotcha. Crabs came out in a plate with nothing but the crabs.... No potatoes and no corn. The waitress told us there is an auce french fri station you can go up and get it yourself. I had to get up and get my own napkins, not a big deal but we r paying for waitress service . The crabs were not less than sub par. They were small and had not meat. The second round came out and they didn't give you a new plate, they just threw them on the old plate that you had from the first round. We sat outside so I guess that was probably the best part of the whole meal. Very disappointed and won't go back. Don't waste your money , totally not worth it. read more

Food is good! They change their menu a few times a year which is nice. Location and environment is great, they do have a deck, bathrooms are usually clean, and it's always bright and casual. Wish the manager would invest a little time/standards though for his bartenders. I had 3 lemonades and Tito's made by 3 different ppl. Each one was fine but ENTIRELY different. It's not my first time experiencing that either. Martinis - avoid here. If you can get a bottle, can, or draft, you'll be happier. I have to say, the food was not good. The onions rings were saturated in oil. Two reasons it could be and both are bad. Their oil is old and dirty, or the oil isn't hot enough to cook it properly leaving it to be saturated in oil. I have been here before and the onion rings didn't leave a pile of oil all over or drip down your face when you bite into it. I got a the quesadilla too, it had nothing but shredded chicken. It wasn't good. Again, I have gotten this here before and it was super good. Now the reason why I gave this a one star this time and not a three is because I watched one of their bartenders stick their dirty hands into the cherries, put it in somebody's drink, lick their fingers from the cherry juice and then touch all the other fruits to put them onto another drink. Not only that one girl sat at the bar the entire time and did nothing. One girl just stood around and didn't do anything, and there was only one girl who had brown hair. We had a 35-member meeting reserved for tonight. Was on site this afternoon to confirm everything was set. Came back at 5:30 to find no air conditioning. No one called to notify us. The bar manager was not helpful. We had to cancel our meeting and will be looking for a new site. Would of be nice if the bar manger called us before our meeting. read more

We were looking for a laid back place to have lunch outdoors, this place was perfect. We sat on their patio. The server was very attentive and food was delivered (appetizer and entree) was delivered promptly. We had the pretzel bites as an appetizer, for our entree we had caesar salad with salmon on it as well as their shrimp rice bowl. Everything was enjoyable. The pretzel bites came out super hot, delicious. The caesar salad came with a nice size piece of salmon. The shrimp bowls came with nacho type chips, that was a little different but we enjoyed it. Three stars is about right! Ott's is a fairly uninspired but reliable establishment with a pretty decent beer selection and predictable menu. Whenever Dogfish 60 is on tap I'm a happy girl! Boyfriend and I shared old bay fries which were good. I got hot and honey boneless wings which were a little underwhelming. I wish they were covered in more sauce and also the sauce should have been a little thicker as it was kind of runny. My companion got a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich which he said was delicious and certainly looked it. I could have done without the live music they had going on on a Friday night. I feel Ott's would do better with a jukebox perhaps. I'm not sure how many times I'll come back with places like the Jughandle or Picalilly close by, but for some beer and bar food it's a solid choice. read more

This restaurant is exactly what you think it's going to be. It's a local bar restaurant. All of the customers that go here look and act like they've been coming here for a long time. There a big bar in the middle of the place and tables all around it. The waiters and waitresses have an IDGAF attitude with a side of sass and nice-ness. The food is also exactly as you'd expect as well. It's sort of like they do the bare minimum but it's OK food. As I add this Ott's location to Yelp, I am struggling with how to categorize it. It's obviously a bar, but what kind of bar? It's not exactly a dive, though I didn't find the establishment (particularly the bathrooms) to be all that clean. I wouldn't consider it a sports bar, though there are TVs everywhere, a pool table and a shuffleboard table. I also wouldn't say it's a pub. The menu isn't comforting or inventive or Irish-inspired. Seems like Ott's Green Top Inn is having an identity crisis. Why is it even called an Inn? There doesn't appear to be any lodging available... Still, I suppose the service was quick enough. The patrons give off the vibe of local regulars (townies?) who go there for a relaxed place to drink and socialize. If that's all you're looking for, then I guess it doesn't matter what you call the place. read more

Ott's is the reason they invented the saying "It is what it is." Seriously, what you see is what you get. Not a great beer selection, but they've got beer. Food is there but it's nothing to write home about. People are hanging out, just chillin'. Bartenders who won't let you address them with "sir" or "miss." Just say "hey." It's been a solid choice for getting out of the house when the electricity bailed out a few times this summer. Or a few years back when my sister turned 21 on a Tuesday. Or when my friend's wedding ended early and we needed to continue the binge. Quizzo Wednesdays always promise a good time as do the Megatouch tuneskeeper and gaming devices. My elderly parents were craving a good burger. My husband & I were looking for a casual, local place where we could bring our teenage kids for dinner, and still have a nice Sam Adams seasonal. I was shocked when I walked in, as it had been about 5 years since I'd been here. It has been completely remodeled. Gone are the dark walls, hardwood floors, bar neons, etc. What I felt gave it character, made it friendly & comfortable. The place is marble & bright tangerine walls, fancy light fixtures & tile. Not exactly my cup of tea, I'm more a neighborhood tavern kinda girl, but I remembered they had very good bar food. Apparently that changed too. I don't really want to get into the dirty details, because I'd end up sounding nit picky, but they ended up taking $15 off our bill for inedible soup & mussels. The rest of our food was "just okay", not great but not awful. Service was horrendous, actually had to go up to the bar to complain, which is not something I ever do. Do yourself a favor & scratch this one off your list. I will never go there again. read more

Give it 3 stars for the beer selection. The food is ok, had the salmon dinner recently. Salmon was atlantic which doesn't have much taste anyway. Good mashed potatoes but the vegetables were over cooked. Gotten other things here and its good, but not great. The service is hit or miss. Server we had the other night although attentive (asked how everything was) seemed rushed and there were very few tables to serve. In the past I've had exceptional service and service so bad I almost didn't want to go back. One bartender in particular was very rude. First time in the new spot . Looked clean . Beer selection is very good cause they got involved with the crafts. Please ask what the price is. I got the bill at one was 9.50.. no way is the craft beer world that would be the cost. Unless that sixtel from Kramer was $180. And then you are stretching on a 10%... Do get some better glasses though . Got a burger . Medium well . But tough to cook it that way on a frozen so it was well done .. Descent though . A little skim on the fries . I come to Ott's weekly, at a minimum. The atmosphere is truly like a group of old friends just hanging out. All of the staff is friendly and amazing, and if you're a regular they know you by name and have your drink ready for you. And if you're stopping in just for the first time, you'll definitely be motivated to come back. The menu is accommodating for people with dietary restrictions as well, which is great coming from a vegetarian! Drinks are delicious, and food is solid 10/10!!!
