I needed to find a restaurant that served Sunday brunch in the Cherry Hill area as that was the midpoint between us and a few friends who were in town and Randall's was where we agreed upon as they had great reviews and reservation availability. We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead. read more

The "Notebook" style entrance with a lovely elegant interior makes Randall's a perfect spot for a romantic experience seated next to the view. There's two dining areas that can be chosen with one having a bar that can seat 10+ people. Started with a couple of great drinks and their french onion soup. The soup was topped with a cheese layer and pieces of crostinis within the soup. Great for a snowy day. The california chicken wrap was a big meal especially with the flaky french fries on the side. The sandwich needed more chipotle mayo on the side which was great for the fries. My medium rare wagyu burger with the bacon jam was HUGE! The jam did taste like beef jerky which was a new experience. We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. read more

We liked it! My love and I visited for drinks and appetizers early evening on a Saturday. We were impressed by how new and clean the atmosphere was. The restaurant lighting is softer than by the bar, but we were keeping it casual. We dressed up a bit, but you can (neatly) dress down and feel comfortable here. Malbec for him and a decaf Chai Espresso Martini for me. I loved that the bartender could make it sans caffeine. Huge thanks! We ordered a few items such as the Volcano Roll (very deep fried...we didn't realize upon ordering, but it was good). We also ordered the Ricotta Board, Truffle Fries, and we split the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Everything came out quick and fresh. The Toblerone Dessert Martini was a delicious way to round it all out. Most of the bar patrons were club members, and there were several members popping in to pick up to-go orders. We are not members but we weren't made to feel like second-class citizens as a result. The bar staff is attentive and I appreciate nothing more than being served ice water upon seating. Hydration is key, people! They have four large TV's over the bar for sports viewing. College football games were on. We look forward to visiting again, especially in the warm weather. The waitress was friendly and attentive, always making sure we were taken care of. The lamb was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The grilled octopus was our favorite, perfectly tender and really well done. The only downside was the Brussels sprouts. Dined here for the first time on Christmas eve, against the recommendation of an acquaintance who holds a membership here. Lol! So, the only reason I opted for Randalls is because it's a short drive and I had work after dinner so it was convenient. Based on their IG posts, it seemed decent. From what I was told, they try to be an upscale steakhouse so bad but just couldn't get it right. But enough of this heresay and here's my actual experience. There's valet. This is a golf course/club house and they have plenty of private spaces for parties and events. They seemed to have coat check but when we arrived, no one offered to check our coats. The main hostess lady that night (in her mint green sweater dress and leather booties) talked to us with a flat face, sans warmth and hospitality, and couldn't manage to fake a smile. She stopped by a couple of times to say we are doing okay and not needing anything. It was more of a statement rather than a query or concern. Then she walked away before I could answer, both times. The ambiance, it's very intimate. They have ample space. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant (I believe her name was Robin). Now here's my honest review on the food. We ordered fried calamari, nothing fancy just good old fried calamari. I feel like you really can't get this wrong because it's breaded and deep fried. It was stinky! Really fishy fish bite that you couldn't ignore it! I mainly ordered this for the kids but after I tasted it, I didn't want to give it to the kids. So they had bread instead. No complaint there. MIL got the filet mignon, ordered medium - it was barely cooked and begging to be seasoned. My husband and I got the lamb chops and I ordered an extra side of toasted sweet potatoes. The lamb chops were also not to the temperature I ordered it and was very undercooked. It didn't have any flavor whatsoever, and the only way I was able to tolerate this bland meat was to dip it in the sauce it came with. The potatoes were very charred on the outside but tough on the inside. The sugars on the outside were so burned it was bitter. If you're looking for a legitimate steakhouse, this ain't it! read more

The place is beautiful with amazing views. Our service was fantastic. The waitress was great and the entire staff was very attentive. My mom and stepdad had the Bronzino. He said he makes his better but mom said hers was pretty good. The volcano roll was fine. The hummus and pita were fine but not better than any other place. I had the tortellini with crab and shrimp. I think there was about four shrimp but barely any crab whatsoever. I didn't taste any so not even sure it's in there. The dish came with burrata which was cold. I like burrata as an appetizer but it was cold. Like refrigerator cold with very hot pasta. I didn't like that combination. The dish was very meh. The manager did ask how I liked it (he was walking around, I did not complain) and I said it was good. I guess it was clear I didn't love it and he offered to get me something else. But it was late so I declined. My daughter had the lamb chops. She said it was pretty good, not a lot for the price and she didn't like the potatoes. Nothing was awful but nothing was great either. It's just so disappointing because it's so picturesque that I was hoping to make this a regular spot. read more

This restaurant is so beautiful. I recommend getting the fig and prosciutto pizza. A delicious pizza that has the perfect amount of sweet and savory. So many great things today at lunch... Atmosphere is stunning...overlooking the well manicured golf club. Five of us had a comfortable table on the outside deck on a gorgeous day. Started with a few drinks...mine was an espresso martini. Loved the martini "glass" and it was a nice pour. It was a good espresso martini, but, not the best I've had. I prefer when there is more of a whipped froth topping on it and it didn't have any. Still I enjoyed. We fluctuated over the menu as there were so many great choices... burger? Poke bowl? Salad? Chicken sandwich? Quesadilla? We all changed our minds a few times. I ended up with the fig prosciutto pizza. It was a really good choice. It was delicious and plenty for two or three people to have shared. The drizzle on the top of the pizza really tied it all together...so glad to have leftovers. Burgers were large and cooked exactly as requested, blueberry pancakes from the Sunday brunch menu look light and good too. Fries were the good kind... Sinfully good...crispy on the outside and soft in the middle just the way good fries should be. The Korean chicken sandwich was the only one that was just a bit underwhelming. It was a generous piece of breaded tender chicken, but the sauce was not great and there are much better choices on the menu. I almost got that as well, but the waitress steered me to the pizza when I asked her opinion. (Glad I asked). The star and stand out of our lunch was the hostess Jeanae (hope I spelled her name, right?). She went above and beyond being a hostess. She cleared some dishes, checked on us several times brought us catchup and mustard which the server should have asked if we needed, but most of all she was absolutely delightful. Every restaurant should have employees like her. I hope we see her again. I would like to thank the manager, another staff guy (wish I got his name) and Jeanae as well. As we were leaving my elderly mother had a seizure and passed out. The staff was absolutely incredible and very caring. They even helped us to the car after it was all done. I can't thank them enough. We were also fortunate that a few guests were doctors and nurses and they also assisted us. In a world of people afraid to help one another this meant more to us than you can even imagine. (After quite some time, my mom was OK). My family was there to celebrate a special occasion. The waitress, Angelina, was simply amazing. She was extremely warm and professional and made our night wonderful. Our dishes were all delicious except for my mussels. That dish was unfortunately the saltiest meal I've ever had. We tried Randall's Restaurant-it's part of the Woodcrest Country Club in Cherry Hill but non-members can eat there. The food was great. The portions were good for the price. Nice views of the country club. Live music was playing in the bar area. The biggest downside was the service. The server was nice but slow and very chaotic. Hopefully they improve on service as this could be an excellent restaurant. As it was, the table was never cleared of dishes, refills were non-existent, etc. I saw a few tables leave after not being greeted. read more

The food, service, ambience and experience were top notch. Beautiful little gem tucked away in the woods. We had a quiet, romantic date at a corner table. I requested "romantic table for 2" in my reservation and they delivered without me saying a word at the door. John, our server was sweet, funny, and attentive. This place received 2 stars only due to the ambiance and the company we dined with. Beautiful outdoor setting overlooks the golf course which was great. Thats where the dining experience ended. Appetizers, grilled octopus was rubbery and lacked any grilled flavor. Crispy calamari was anything but cripsy, but bland, salty and lacking any real flavor. The lamb kebobs were probably the least tasty, an overcooked, piece of meat that had more grizzle than flavor. Dinners, once again, nothing special at all. The chicken parm may have been ok, if the pasta accompanying it did not taste like thick ketchup or canned sauce. I have never tasted a sauce so lacking in authenticity. The scallops over risotto was highway robbery. 3 scallops over a dish of pea flavored rice for $48.....no way. One person enjoyed their dinner, which was the skirt steak.....pretty hard to screw up. I didn't receive great service. My waitress was rude and overall I just felt she didn't even want to be there and it greatly affected the mood of everyone at the table. The silverware was sloppy on the table and there were crumbs on the chairs and floor under us. The table was wobbly and overall it just was not a pleasurable experience for myself or anyone dining with me. They miss the mark in not offered appetizers for brunch. The brunch burger I was basically plain ground beef with and was way undercooked. I told the server and she apologized but I still paid $22 for a returned meal. Everyone else was not impressed with their meal. When you first walk into Randall's, the views of the golf course are stunning with floor to ceiling windows. They have a beautiful dining room and a large bar as well for drinks or happy hour specials. All of the appetizers were great, especially the pork belly. I love trying things that are different and that's what I got here! The steak we had for an entree was the New York strip and it was cooked perfect. The burger was a huge size at 10oz and the bacon jam was excellent. You cannot miss the bread pudding for dessert, so silky smooth and full of flavor. The drinks were also a highlight of the night; they have holiday cocktails right now and my favorite was the plum-mosa it was incredible! We had dinner at Randall's on Wednesday night. The view of the golf course was outstanding. The food was very good, not excellent but we chose a less expensive path. My wife had the French onion soup and a big salad and I had a glass of Muscato, the crispy wings and then the Goat cheese/Pancetta flat bread. We were a party of 6, sat outside on a nice evening close to the piano player/singer which was very entertaining. Our food and drinks were brought on time, food very good we enjoyed everything the only issue here was the service, our waiter was a very friendly person however it's just those little details that should be fixed, like when we finished our main course we have the table full of dishes for a good amount of time, then our server came to check on us if we wanted dessert and we asked for the menu not a single dish was cleared from the table , we wanted to have some drinks but we didn't want to have the table full of dishes so we skipped dessert and asked for the bill, they didn't clear the table until we were leaving which is kind of disappointing, the place wasn't really crowded so it's just those little details that bother sometimes but the food was good we will give another try and see how it goes this time. read more

I have to agree with previous comments about the management. I was given conflicting information about sitting in the bar area. First I was told we could sit at the bar or tables, but then told that that tables were reserved. I had a question about the happy hour and was made to feel like my question was not valid. We ended up cancelling our reservation for main dining and decided to eat somewhere else. I recommend not going here if you want to be treated like a customer should be treated. read more
