Ironic that a pair of non-drinkers happened to have the day off and decided to go to Happy Hour at a bar. In a Holiday Inn. On St. Patrick's Day. During a PANDEMIC. We walked in and was pleasantly surprised at how modern and trendy it was inside. Service was fine. But considering it was St. Patrick's Day, someone forgot to tell the staff. Not a hint of anything Irishy at all inside a drinking establishment. We decided to try some Happy Hour $6 specialty drinks. Since I love anything citrusy, I ordered something that had orange juice. What I was served was a purple concoction that had no OJ taste at all and was too bitter. I had a few sips and pushed it aside. The three or four options on the Happy Hour menu didn't ring any flavor bells. Instead we shared a $10 hummus platter and it was actually delicious. Glad we got that instead. A pleasant visit.

Was hesitant on coming here based on a few bad reviews but I'm glad we didn't listen. Super friendly bartender. GREAT food and tasty drinks. Super clean and nice decor.

I met some friends here for dinner and honestly, we weren't sure about this place once we saw it was part of the holiday inn. We were pleasantly surprised! The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated and had comfortable seating. We ordered several appetizers and everything was delicious. Our entrees were also pretty good, and the plate presentation was really nice. Two of us had the salmon which was cooked well, but needed a little more seasoning. Others in the group ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and the cheese tortellini. Both said they enjoyed their meal! The cheese tortellini came with a lot of sauce and it would have been nice to have some fresh bread to go along with it (note for the chef :)!) We also tried two desserts, the chocolate mousse cake which was delicious, and the crème brûlée cheesecake. I didn't have that but it looked good! While we were there, they had live music which was very nice. I'd visit again!

Had reservations at 7p , got there around 6:50ish and wasn't sat until close to 7:10. This would be the only reason why I would do 4 stars, their sense of urgency for a reservation wasn't there, and I understand it was Valentine's Day (place maybe half full if that) and they had a few servers. Just a tip - seat your guest poor water and continue. He must of walked past us 10 times lol. Anywho once we were sat, everything was pretty good. The server Michael was great. The live music was a nice touch. Now to what you've all been waiting to actually hear about - the food. So I started off with Brussel sprouts without the bacon. They were cool. My date ordered the chicken pot stickers which were quite yummy. Then we ordered a few drinks. The Henny cocktail was sweeeeetttttt lol, still tasted it three days later lol. The Pan Salmon was good - Salmon was cooked to perfection. My date ordered the roasted chicken mash and broccoli which he said was yummy and moist. Would def return in the future.

Expectations were not too high based on location because it's at The Holiday Inn... butttt to my surprise, it is really nice inside! The bar decor is pretty... stylish and classy. We were not greeted right away and stood awkwardly at the entrance, but they were also busy filming a commercial so there was a lot going on. Eventually one of the staff members sat us at a table near the bar and service from then on was great! I mainly wanted to try their cocktails, but we ended up getting some food eventually. I'm not sure why the reviews are so low, but I enjoyed everything! Food: Tapas style! They had a bunch of tapas style items, which if you are super hungry, this probably wouldn't satisfy you. But if you want a night out to enjoy drinks and some food to munch on, the atmosphere is pretty nice. We had the tacos, hummus and chicken lettuce wraps. The tacos were really good and I wanted more! Hummus was good but nothing special that stood out to me. The chicken lettuce wraps needed more sauce for flavor... but still tasted good! Cocktails They had some great cocktails to try and they weren't watered down either! Just enough :-) To top of the experience, we got to be in a commercial. Have no idea where that is airing or anything but was cool to experience . Will definitely be back to grab a drink or 2 and some food as I enjoyed the atmosphere!

I ordered the seafood tortellini to go. It came with four tortellinis, 4 pieces of shrimp, and zero chunked lobster. It's very disappointing to see the picture on their menu where it looks to be quite the opposite.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. She brought us extra bread and surprised us with a champagne toast for the adults and carbonated apple juice for my son, which made him feel incredibly celebrated. The food was outstanding. The bone-in, dry-aged New York strip may have been one of the most tender, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned steaks I've ever had. Pro tip: arrive early if you want bar seating, the bartenders are extremely friendly, genuinely engaging, and it is fun to watch them craft the drinks. We took full advantage of the happy hour menu with a dozen oysters, Wagyu beef sliders, a dirty martini, and a glass of Caymus. The happy hour pricing is a solid deal and the food quality was excellent. Another couple joined us, so we moved to a table and continued into dinner. Appetizers included a Caesar salad, burrata and beet salad, and lobster bisque. The burrata and beet salad was bright, fresh, and zesty and really stood out. The lobster bisque was the one miss of the night, served lukewarm with only a small piece of lobster. For mains, we ordered the Chilean sea bass prepared Chinese-style and the A5 Wagyu dumplings. The sea bass was exceptional, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. The wine list is phenomenal with great options by the glass and bottle, and the cocktail program is clearly handled by skilled professionals. This is also a great choice for a romantic night out.
