Last minute changes to our plans led us to celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary at Eddie V's and we wouldn't have changed a thing! This was our first time dining here, so we spent some time earlier in the day looking over the menu and decided on our entire dinner order before we even arrived. We arrived 30 minutes before our 6:30pm reservation on a Saturday night for a drink at the bar. We were surprised Eddie V's has happy hour at the bar on Saturdays which offers some $10 cocktails and decent deals on some appetizers. They also had a live Jazz performer in the bar area that was audible during dinner, just enough to enjoy without being overly loud. Our dinner table was dressed with rose petals and a handwritten letter celebrating our anniversary. Between Sarah behind the bar and Michael in the dining room, I thought service was very good all night. We had a Beefeater Martini, The Hope Diamond (Sarah described it as their take on a Lemon Drop Martini just not as sweet or tart), Steak Tartare, Crab Fried Rice (best fried rice I've ever had), Chilean Sea Bass, Crab-Stuffed Shrimp, Sautéed Spinach, Bananas Foster Butter Cake - Flambéed tableside (complimentary for our anniversary). Must Orders: * Steak (filet) Tartare * Chilean Sea Bass * Crab Fried Rice * Bananas Foster Butter Cake Pros: * Service, gestures, and ambiance were exactly what you'd hope for on a celebratory evening (decorated table, complimentary dessert, rose for my wife) * Food was exceptional * Happy Hour 3-6:30 every day * Live Jazz performer (& it wasn't overly loud) Cons: * Special occasion price point (but you are getting what you pay for: service, food quality, ambiance, experience) * Sautéed Spinach was bland Final thoughts: Eddie V's did an exceptional job hosting us for our anniversary dinner. There were many celebratory dinners all around us (birthdays & anniversaries). I would 100% recommend making reservations for any special occasion. I will definitely be back soon for happy hour at the bar as it's more affordable and will save the dining reservations for moments that call for an elevated dinner experience. read more

This was a seafood feast that I will always cherish. I definitely see myself returning to this place to celebrate birthdays or special moments in life. I highly recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover. They prepared our dishes using a wonderful variety of techniques. I was initially hesitant to order the steamed Chilean sea bass, but it turned out to be perfect light, flaky, and with perfectly balanced aromatics that I'll be dreaming about until I return. Our server Vinnie was elegant and funny. He handled all our questions with ease and even brought us a complimentary side dish he personally enjoyed, which was a lovely touch. I felt like I was dining in seafood heaven; each dish was more exciting than the last. And I can't forget about the cocktails! Although I don't have a photo of my mango Moscow mule, it was the perfect pairing for my Asian-inspired three-course seafood meal. This restaurant definitely has a fancy vibe, you'll want to dress up a bit. But since it was a hot 100-degree day, my family and I appreciated the staff's kindness in welcoming us despite our casual attire. I can't praise enough the wonderful people here. The chef, the front-of-house team, and the wait staff are all five-stars! They made my family feel truly special and well taken care of. This spot is easily in my top three restaurants I've visited this year! My family and I can't wait to come back. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The food was absolutely delicious, not one thing that we ordered that wasn't unbelievably flavorful and perfectly crafted. For our anniversary, it was the perfect vibe with live jazz music and a great space to ourselves. Our server, Mariana, was wonderful and took great care of us. She helped us with giving us recommendations and explained everything very well. Highly highly recommend!! read more

Celebrated my birthday at Eddie V's, and it exceeded every expectation! I ordered the lobster roll, expecting the usual mediocre local standard, but it was spectacular. The lobster was warm, butter-poached, and served Connecticut-style on a delicious toasted bun, with a small pitcher of additional melted butter on the side. We finished the lunch with their incredible Bananas Foster on butter cake. A truly wonderful birthday meal from start to finish! The atmosphere was elegant, and the service was impeccable. read more

Eddie V's Prime Seafood is a great spot that easily carries you from happy hour into a full dinner. We stopped in initially for happy hour and ended up staying through the evening. From the outside, Eddie V's already gives off a polished, upscale feel, and once inside, the jazz playing softly in the background immediately set the tone. We grabbed seats at the bar, which I highly recommend. Pro tip: arrive early if you want bar seating, the bartenders are extremely friendly, genuinely engaging, and it is fun to watch them craft the drinks. We took full advantage of the happy hour menu with a dozen oysters, Wagyu beef sliders, a dirty martini, and a glass of Caymus. The happy hour pricing is a solid deal and the food quality was excellent. Another couple joined us, so we moved to a table and continued into dinner. Appetizers included a Caesar salad, burrata and beet salad, and lobster bisque. The burrata and beet salad was bright, fresh, and zesty and really stood out. The lobster bisque was the one miss of the night, served lukewarm with only a small piece of lobster. For mains, we ordered the Chilean sea bass prepared Chinese-style and the A5 Wagyu dumplings. The sea bass was exceptional, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. The wine list is phenomenal with great options by the glass and bottle, and the cocktail program is clearly handled by skilled professionals. This is also a great choice for a romantic night out. The space is dimly lit with unique lighting elements, paired with live jazz that creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere without feeling stuffy. If you are in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit, especially during happy hour. We will definitely be back. read more

I have to start with the service because it was the best service at any place I've ever had. Our waiter literally could not be more attentive. We went for Mother's Day brunch. I had two people who wanted to modify an item on the menu. Not even a seconds hesitation. Everything was " sure and of course ". The lobster bisque was delish and a really nice presentation. The salmon was good but a little different than I expected. The filet and asparagus was YUMMY. The Apple scones were awesome. read more

My wife and I have been enjoying their happy hour over the last few weeks. Great drinks and appetizer specials! Tonight, a busy Friday evening at Eddie's, I mistakenly left my credit card at the bar. Bartender, Alexis, ran outside, found me in my car (back of lot) and delivered my card to me with a giant smile. They were very, very busy at the time and she was one of only two bartenders. Outstanding service! We can't recommend this place enough. read more

The food was very well prepared; I had salmon Oscar, one friend had sea bass, the third had plain salmon. We each started with a salad, all good. A couple of points, however, in all fairness: The waiter kept promoting the red meat dishes. This is a fish restaurant! It was way too dark, despite the gorgeous chandelier. We had to use our phone flashlights to see the menu. The wine list selections were very slim. We had a nice time and ate well, but these few points corrected would have made it even better. read more

One of the best restaurants in Philly was looking for a great place to get a steak and they didn't disappoint

We dined at this establishment for my birthday with reservations a week in advance for our party of 5 and even then, the reservations were limited and booked, so that was a great indication of what was to come. We arrived on time to a very intimate, classic cloth table dining establishment and we were seated quickly at one of their larger tables. We interacted with friendly staff. I love seafood so I was pleased with the options offered and went with the crab stuffed shrimp. The table also shared the crab rice, mac & cheese, Brussels sprouts, and I believe a mashed potatoes of some sort. I was happy with my meal. Before we got our food though, there was a safety issue that was initially mishandled but the manager walked over and rectified the situation, my rating would have been significantly different if the manager did not step in but again, they were able to rectify. read more

wish I took pictures totally forgot to, but did this place for my anniversary and it was amazing steak was cooked to perfection seafood food was over the top and the server went the extra mile. They didn't even have cream spinach on the menu, but he had a chef make it for us. The hostess were very kind. The ambience of the place was phenomenal very loving, deep intimate settings in the booth low lighting around the tables would 100% go back. I want to try their pasta. read more

Eddie V's Prime Seafood - Seafood Near Me - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

ecently visited Eddie V's in Cherry Hill for a special dinner and had a mixed experience. The service was noticeably slow, which was a bit disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. It took a while to get our drinks and even longer for our food to arrive, which made the evening feel a little dragged out. We were there for a total of 3 hours. That said, once the food did arrive, it was fantastic. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best steaks I've had in the area. The mac and cheese was also a standout; rich, creamy, and the ultimate comfort food done right. While the pace of service could definitely use improvement, the quality of the food made up for it. I'd consider coming back for the food alone, just with a little more patience next time read more

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Eddie V's Prime Seafood last night, one we'll remember for a long time--especially since we were celebrating my 13-year-old son's birthday. Rachel, our server, was truly exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, warm, and incredibly thoughtful--especially with my son. When the power unexpectedly went out at the Cherry Hill Mall due to the windstorm, Rachel and the staff turned what could have been a disruption into something special. She brought us extra bread and surprised us with a champagne toast for the adults and carbonated apple juice for my son, which made him feel incredibly celebrated. The food was outstanding. The bone-in, dry-aged New York strip may have been one of the most tender, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned steaks I've ever had. Every side was just as impressive--the truffle mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and crab fried rice were all absolutely delicious. Dessert was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Beyond Rachel, the entire team deserves recognition. The general managers were actively walking the floor, checking in on guests, and the bus staff was attentive and professional. The coordination, hospitality, and genuine care shown by everyone made the evening feel special despite the circumstances. This was hospitality at its best. Huge thanks to Rachel and the entire Eddie V's team for turning a stormy night into a truly memorable birthday celebration. We can't wait to come back. read more

Beautiful dining room, top notch service by all staff-especially our server Thomas. Every bite we had was well prepared, delicious food. The only thing I would change is the lighting-way too dim imo. 1st time at the Cherry Hill location, but won't be the last. 9/10 read more

They say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." in the foodie review world, we prefer the opposite. We love detailed reviews AND pictures. Yet, sometimes, a picture is really the main character. This was my first time dining at Eddie V's in Cherry Hill. I fell in with the V Lounge in KOP and now I'm caught up in an entanglement. (shhhh ... That's just between us lol). Eddie V's consistently knocks it out of the park! From your first contact, be it an online review of their website and making reservations, to entering the establishment and being greeted at the hostess stand, to the pleasantries exchanged from the staff member escorting you to your table, through to the expectation being set of who your server will be, followed by impeccable service from a team (if necessary) of absolutely wonderful and down to earth professionals who remain attentive yet never obtrusive. Simply magnificent! I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with 3 friends that came in from out of town, and the next level personal treatment, on top of the amazing food, and the manager's thank you and extension of a warm welcome to us in the future was not taken for granted. The atmosphere is always opulent. And on a summer evening when it was still close to 90 degrees, the cool interior temperature was exquisite. Everything we chose was prepared to perfection. This was the first time 2 of my friends had dined at Eddie V's and they were very pleased. We ordered: The Shellfish Tower Yellowtail Sashimi Jumbo Lump Crabcake Maine Lobster Bisque Caesar Salad Chilean Sea Bass 18oz Bone-In New York Strip 11oz Waygu w/Truffle Butter Crab Fried Rice w/Mushrooms & Scallions Grilled Asparagus w/Sea Salt & Lemon Honey Sriracha Roasted Brussels Sprouts w/Cashews Banana Foster's Cake w/whipped cream & butter pecan ice cream Warm Belgian Chocolate Cake (not pictured) Berries & Cream (not pictured) And of course... Libations!! Long Island Ice Tea, Coors Light, 24kt Gold Martini, Lemon Drop Martini, Cabernet, Reisling and what birthday celebration is complete without champagne?! Kudos and a million thank YOU'S to the lovely & great personality who is Kaitlynn, the incredible manager and all the great staff from beginning to end. I look forward to seeing you again soon! So first of all I want to say that rating steakhouses absent "rules" is very difficult. The steakhouse setup is pretty formulaic, you pay extraordinary prices for fawning service in which the waiter attempts to inflate your tab as large of possible, all in the guise of fawning service. "Would you like a sauce with that?" Yes? That is a $20 upcharge! Would you like the menu 'special'? Oops, you didn't see how expensive that was and I didn't mention it. I also don't think I can compare steakhouses to, say, diners. Different rules. So I will consider Eddie V relative to other comparable restos like Capital Grille, which is just a few feet away. So pluses of Eddie V relative to Capital: more extensive seafood menu, live music well isolated so that if you want to sit in quiet you can. Minuses: VERY difficult to read wine menu not well organized. I wanted to know which wines I could get by the glass and at Capital its easy there is a special section. My waiter was extremely green, that was the luck of the draw. Au poivre? "I don't know what that is". Brandy? "We don't have that". Pluses and minuses not clear: did I detect a slightly more aggressive attempt to pad my already stratospheric bill, than at Capital? Not sure. Sauces and preparations are "extra". I personally resent this. Capital doesn't have this yet. Prices stratospheric even for a steakhouse? Not sure. Beef prices are up I would have to rush over to Capital and get the same things and compare. All that said I got what I asked for, my steak medium rare done au poivre and it was perfect, it was done the French way with a creamy sauce. I got my brandy and ginger ale in the tall glass I requested. The icecream (not on the menu) was delicious. It was served with cold cookies that were nothing special that was surprising. Of course I am nitpicking. Total for two with drinks and tip and tax? $265. Wow. I think that Eddie V has nothing to be ashamed of next to its competition. I fault it for being slightly anonymous, each of the steakhouses have "an angle" I couldn't discern at Eddie V. I give the edge to Capital and I will revisit this the next time I try Capital, because of the bill-padding and difficult-to-read wine menu. But no one is tricking you you will have a good time here and be paying for it for months. Save up. read more

Rating 2.5/5. I was disappointed in the way the food came out. We asked for the rack of lambs to be cooked medium and when we cut it its was very much rare. We had to send it back to put it back on the grill while losing 1/6 of the racks when brought back to our table. For paying 64 then losing 1/6 of your meal was extremely disappointing. Crab fried rice was good flavor wise but unfortunately the rice was not cooked all the way. I'm not sure if they freeze the rice first which led to this result. But a lot of the bites had a crunch/snap in the rice grains itself. On positive notes, services was good. The calamari was a good portion and I enjoyed the scalloped. But for the price you're paying the expensive was still disheartening when it came to the food. read more

Made reservations but didn't look like it was needed. They have valet parking but it wasn't hard finding a close spot. The ambiance was casual; we sat near the piano in the bar area at a table, the lights were dim, and before the band came you heard light chatter and people watching the games. The server was friendly and attentive to the table and our needs, and she also gave great suggestions. Everything is family style. We had the crab cake appetizer which was tasty and had flavor to it and the sauce paired perfectly. We had the lobster mashed potatoes, and we were split on this. I didn't like the taste but my partner said it reminded her of red lobsters loaded baked potatoes. We also had the medallion oscar style (something like that) the steak was cooked well, tasted average, nothing impressive. Dessert was very good. Lobster bisque was good, wagyu dumplings were good, king salmon was good. The 135 dollar shellfish tower was absolutely awful, the lobster and shrimp were way way over cooked and not edible, a few of the oysters were like slimy and gross looking , not like the others yet they still put them on the tray, the tuna tartar was not good, the tuna was gray in color and pasty, the steak tartar was ok at best, the only flavor was mustard , nothing else, and we also ordered 6 oysters to start and one of those was gross looking and couldn't be eaten, it was shriveled. All in all the bill was 397 dollars and I would have been happier staying home and getting delivery, incredibly disappointing. read more

I started working in NJ and I wanted to go somewhere nice for my birthday with my boyfriend. The interior is very nice and there was a live jazz band playing when we arrived. We ordered the shellfish tower to share and then I ordered the medallions. The steak was so beautifully cooked and melted in my mouth. The seafood was also very fresh and the lobster wasn't over cooked like it is at other restaurants. At the end the waitress brought me a complimentary birthday cake. The restaurant was gorgeous. It was the best service I have ever had. We had TJ as a waiter and he was helpful, considerate, and went above and beyond to make our experience one of a kind. The food was all 10/10. The lobster tacos were pricy but completely worth it. The entrees were delicious, we were even offered a sampling of a side of carrots with citrus yogurt sauce. The dessert was PHENOMENAL and the little details with the writing made it even better. The manager came up to us to check in and he was polite and cheerful. at the end of the night we did unfortunately leave our leftovers there by accident and they called us and kept them at the front of the restaurant for us to pick up. This place knocked it out of the park. We arrived right at the height of the dinner rush, so we opted to sit at the bar, but that was packed too. We probably waited around 45 minutes for someone to get up...probably would have been 15 minutes if some A-hole and his troll wife didn't cut in front of us. The two managers were outstanding. One of them was in the Marines, Semper Fi. Both of them came up to us and said they were working on getting us a spot and offered my wife and me a complimentary cocktail. That was super thoughtful. After waiting there patiently, the bartender got my attention and motioned to me when someone was getting up, so we were sure to get a spot. After finally getting a place at the bar, we placed our order. My wife had the New York strip and I had the ribeye. Both were cocked to perfection and were delicious. Neither steak was fatty and melted in your mouth. The service, food and restaurant were perfect! With our experience, I wish I could give 10 stars! read more

I ordered the salmon and a side of Brussel sprouts. I'm not really a big fan of Brussels sprouts but theirs were very good. A few pieces were burnt but it gave it more flavor lol. Birthday Kick Off Dinner! Reservations for 4pm. Nice warm lighting and friendly staff. My friend raved about the lobster mashed potatoes, so I was ready to try them and more. On this visit, which was my first, we had a long wait until food actually landed on our table, and it was semi cold bread and hard butter. We advised our server Cynthia, and she got more butter. It was 10 minutes to five when bread arrived. I'm a little disappointed and super hungry now. I ordered a Margarita, which I finished while waiting. The ambiance exudes elegance and sophistication with a romantic touch; this restaurant is perfect for special occasions and date night. There was a decent selection of fresh oysters. The service was good although the kitchen was a bit slow; the servers were professional and courteous. We started with the yellowtail sashimi which was presented with a beautiful color contrast in the plating, however it was not above average in taste or complexity. The chilean seabass was cooked perfectly in a broth and was delicious but not above and beyond expectations. The filet, too, was standard for a filet. One of the things that set Eddie V's apart in experience was the desert. It wasn't the part of the restaurant I thought I'd be talking about as it's a seafood restaurant, but the bananas foster was truly exceptional. It is flambéed tableside with butter pecan ice cream and stands out among deserts.
